I have not read all 3 pages, i scanned and didn't see this problem, sorry if i missed it, But..

After download, extract files, run RS Toolkit GUI, Toolkit pops up, First Run box pops up, click ok. Freezes Application,  Have to Enter Windows Task Manager to terminate .exe file. Any suggestions?

 

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601)

Is the "updater.exe" locking the application? 

 

I have the exact same problem 

Windows 10 pro latest build 

Eset endpoint antivirus 

I have also tried *Run as administrator* and *Compatibility mode* to no avail .

Luckily i play base and have only come across the bug twice so far  but i wanted to fix it for those that i may not have come across as yet.

not interested in the whole pack but i shall be buying the shinedown one :)

Having never played any sort of instrument until 2 years ago i bought myself rocksmith 2014 and a lead guitar and after many tries i realised i could not get the coordination/between the fret board and picking hand with that many strings so i bought a bass instead ha ha , 2 years later i have half a dozen bass guitars , i keep telling the wife they must be breeding with the lights out but i don't think she is buying it.
I still struggle with chords but that is just more finger stretching as the stretch is a lot further between the frets on a bass.
 

I even impress myself sometimes with the playing :)

why i bought rocksmith?

did you remove the old .dll before adding the new one?

No objection but it would be greatly appreciated if you could also report the records so that we can update the record with a proper link when available.

 

This way people could also have access to the proper link directly from ignition without checking the comment, i bet a lot of people would appreciate it ;)

So I click on report below the cdlc , say it has a broken link, if i have it up it to my drop box and include it in the report :)

Just done one for Angels and Airwaves - the  adventure . A member posted that the link was broken :)

I have had a few comments about links being broken on some cdlc's that i have due to being subscribed to the thread. Without checking with a mod first i have been sharing the cdlc on my drop box to keep the file alive. I always check to see when the OP was last on prior to doing it. 

Are there any objections to me or the community doing this as long as the file works, I don't mean it as in us adopting them as for me at least it is just a way of giving back.
I don't want to be treading on peoples toes etc.

Be interesting to see how they implement a time stamp as the date is already covered with the current form.

Just thinking about all the screenshots people will be sharing with the songs owned on them , it will need its own thread on the day this update lands 

Love the look of the sort feature , especially date added and last played , those i am really looking forward to. 

 I also think the lists can work well if say you use them in the same was as tuning's. Say for example you place all the drop d in the folder then sort that folder by date last played or date added .....seems promising.

Especially as i can next to never remember the last song i added to the cdlc folder ha ha 

A good idea is to use an ABY splitter box and a real guitar cable , the rocksmith cable will not get damaged as long as the box doesn't get moved about , can even use double sided tape to stick the box down. plug in your standard guitar cable and bobs your uncle.

we booked up tonight to see Alter bridge in November also playing is Volbeat , Gojira and Like A Storm not seen either of them before live , Was never into Volbeat until i picked up Rocksmith and the  found gardeners tail cldc on here and loved it and them. So thanks Replicators for that :)

Thanks LaceyB!  The audio is a little cheesy, but those are super-fun to play and I like to use my amp to drown out the computer audio anyway.  Looking forward to jamming some Christmas tunes this year.   :D

 

Is there any way to download all 25 songs together as 1 pack, instead of individual downloads?

There would be no way to comment to give thanks or feed back on the songs if it was possible to do that

I too have been having the same issue , thought it was just me, been all over the settings to no avail, get loads of reply notifications but nowt else .

Sorry had issue at home so not had chance to re test , just tested the updated version and the tuning side is confirmed as sorted on windows 8.1 :)

I can confirm that after trying the tool on another windows 8.1 machine that i get the same results, same error with the tuning *other* but it does run fine.

I have tried both the offline installer and the live one to no avail, it wont install. , but it does still run for me under windows 8.1 , will test it on another 8.1 machine and see if i get the same results.
