I am most likely the only one having this, but I am am getting blank replies when i reply to post's ? It says I can restore the reply that was saved but it then refuses to post it. 

I am using chrome on windows 10 X64 pro fully updated . 

rename the rocksmith INI file and uninstall the realtone cable from your windows device manager and let it re install it again. this worked for me, i could not tell you which one worked maybe one; maybe both but it works a treat now

while waiting some more feedback on the above one i decided to start work on another.

This one is Spineshank - New disease (it is bass only) a classic tune imo

i would recommend a 5 string as it is very low tuning (low bass fix has been applied)  i had a touch note recognition issues with my low tuned heavy gauge 4 string esp but found it fine with my 5 string yamaha

I will add lyrics and maybe a differently tone but for now it plays pretty well imo and is in sync (to my eyes and ears at least)

There is a request in for this one but the request was for different tuning as from what can tell this one is very low at least that is what the toolkit selected for it, but if necessary i can always change it, maybe different tones would help with the pitch if i change the tuning to what had been requested?

I have just done the update with the fixes mentioned above

I have had a go a beat syncing, (also used tux guitar for amending the tabs)

Added lyrics I had tried doing it in EOF but that was very long winded. once I had installed ultrastar creator installed it was pretty straight forward added some missing lines from the lyrics too.

Tone have also been changed 

New download link, this is bass only with lyrics for now, I do have the tabs for lead and rhythm so may add them later but from what i have seen they are out of sync and i dont think i am good enough to add them just yet.

I cant figure out what chords are played as they are not in the tabs ?

You need to use the report button below the the song and maybe post in the thread to say the download link doesn't work any more.

If the original charter is still about he will be notified that he has a broken link and will give the charter a prompts to re upload it, if he is not still about maybe someone will reshare it for you themselves if they have it.

Posting a new thread like this is not really the way to to let them know.

The title says pachter , what is the patcher you are referring to?

 If you have bought the game and installed it, then just pop the dll file inside rocksmith folder NOT the DLC folder.

If you have acquired this game by any other means then we can not/nor will we help you.

Now that that is out the way , have you done a forced recheck of the rocksmith folder

Right click on Rocksmith 2014 remastered in the steam list and chose properties , then select  the local files tab, at the bottom  of the the tab you will see the option of *verify integrity of game cache* click it , this will download a small reference file to verify against then start the check your local files for corruption , just leave it to run. If it finds anything wrong it will delete them and redownload them again; this normally sorts it out.

 if that doesn't work delete cherub rock and allow it to redownload it again.

be sure to allow it to enumerate the cdlc before trying to play them when you fire up rocksmith 2014 remastered

Any thoughts on the tones, It kind of sounds like the pitch is a little off or maybe too much distortion or overdrive i will try out some others now that i know i can pack it properly without it crashing now :)

Right so i have just completed my first custom that actually works thanks to advice from @@albatross213 & @@Alex360 with the Wwise and the toolkit versions, the bass plays fine to me.

So things i need/want to change include

Tones-  are not quite right i will look at changing them when i do the update

Missing notes - It also seems to me that there are a few notes missing at the end from tab i used as the outro plays past when the notes finish (just need to figure out how to , but i will)

I am away the weekend so wont get chance to make any changes until maybe monday night.

If all is well i will release it .

worked a treat using the older version of Wwise and a fresh install of the tool kit , not sure which one did the trick but it worked just fine now , thank you both for the help

I am getting packing errors when trying to output the project i am working on, i believe that I am following all the steps necessary but i am no doubt missing something silly.

How would i know it is C standard , is there a guide to work that out or a chart , sorry for the noob question and he delay in replying , for some reason i wasn't subscribed to my own thread
 

I am just starting out trying to make a custom , my first issue is it has none standard tuning s . According to songster it has one step down tunings from D standard D G C F. 
the question is how would i portray that in the toolkit?

Is there a chart for working out the -2 inputs ?

Any help would be appreciated 

As a newbie to custom creating can i get a screenshot of the preferences that need to be check marked please?
I have checked out all the tutorials (of which there are many) but the preferences box is out of date, with the many new features that have been added so there a many more check boxes now.

It was not an issue of speed of transfer it was more SSD degradation that i was concerned about. You see none of the files were stored on my C: drive but they was being transferred to a temp folder on the C: drive from my game drive for the conversion then being transferred back again. 
I understand the need to have them be copied while being worked on , I just would have preferred that I had some input as to where that location was as i have a standard HDD installed along side my M.2 drive and SSD.

I have a suggestion regarding where mastery bug does its conversion. I recently rebuilt my pc with one samsung 950 NVME drive as my boot drive where only windows and programs are installed , I have another SSD an 850 pro with all my games installed and where i also installed CSFM to , this is where i expected the bug fix conversions to take place .

 However as you can see from the screen shot that is not the case.

While this is ok for people with a standard hard disc or just a few dozen cldc , having 15 gigs of cdlc that it is moving from one ssd to another then back again.

So we could do with a little more control over where the temp folder is located, namely the same drive as the install itself.

@@scruffycatherder I too like the idea, the song manager still needs the functionality of scanning for duplicates though imo

I have a similar request to this, whereby I use the default option for all downloads to go into my Downloads folder. Is there already an option I'm missing or would it be possible to select to move all relevant files from a selected folder to the DLC folder?

I use a program called smartsync , it is not free but it will sync files of specific types (include mask's) and even scan within folders.

by the way you can set it like a watch folder and it will move the content you want moved as it appears and set what ever delay you like, or set it like i have and sync it to a network share on my server. i then sync it from that to my rocksmith PC (yup i am sad i have a dedicated rocksmith rig)

your not on your own , it is like that for me too, been like it since the remastered version launched and has not really abated  :(

I was just spit balling an idea for the forums

  I had been wondering if we can get a re-share button added to the forums (maybe a future release)  for cases where the charter is no longer around, this would then send a message to others that have downloaded it so we could upload to a drop box to keep it alive. The report button is all well and good but it does not let others who have the file know it is no longer available, that is unless someone post's it in the thread.  I feel we should all do our bit to help, it is the least we could do imo.

A rule/rules could be be implemented in so far as the button would only work if the charter has been absent for more than say a month? A mod/mods could also then be notified and make the decision (or have it automatic) that the listing be move to the orphanage. 

The cdlcs would still show up in ignition but be flagged that it is in the orphanage and not supported by a magna charter.
 

it is only rough and no doubt needs a polish but i think it would be a great addition to this awesome comunity.

@LaceyB  Your bug report is on topic.  :)   Sometimes shit happens.  I will fix in next release.

This version ran fine by the way , i tried yesterdays version before going to work last night , this one started up fine for me.
