  1. I figured it out, I'm an idiot and was single clicking the notes,, thinking that I needed to define each notes beginning and end. After clicking the first note then shift clicking on the last, then using Pro Guitar to make it an arpeggio,, it works. The pull off near the end really isn't an issue now either. Thanks guys. I appreciate the effort. I was just over thinking it.

  2. If you already meet the above things, please answer a few questions for us so we can review them and get you your shiny red name:

Why do you want to be a moderator?

Simply, to better the community. I truly love teaching, and tend to try to resolve conflict by trying to umm, smooth things out ( not all issues require mods to drop the hammer ) I am trying to be an ACTIVE member of this community and have begun charting CDLC along with hanging out in the chat and trying to help people with problems they may be having.

What do you bring to the Customs Forge community that is unique to you?

I don't know that it is unique but I have a firm grasp of the issues that arise with making customs run and I am LEARNING EoF. I also have a very solid knowledge of what makes computers tick and can make them run MUCH better. ( I.E. Tech Support, a member ID that I would suggest.) I tend to be VERY patient with questions and try to help people through thier issues and get them up and running.

Cake or Pie? (this is important)

Not sure why this is important,, but PIE, definitely pie.

How much time do you spend on the site daily?

I try to be on here at LEAST daily and generally,, about 4 hours in the evening,, my time. This obviously will fluctuate as I have a real life, job , kids, wife ETC.

Have you filled out your profile information on the site?

As far as I know I have filled out more than many. If you were to need more, let me know.

Have you ever been a Moderator anywhere else before?

I have not moderated elsewhere but I have ADMINED many game servers and a Vent ( Which I am still an active ADMIN of Which is available for ANYONES use, as right now the population has dwindled)).

    Can you follow instructions?

I follow instructions well, 8 years Army and 7.5 years law enforcement, so, yes, I can follow direction well.

  3. I agree but this is giving me fits.. I tried just putting the chord at the start and making arpeggios, but it really didn't change it. the notes show up as individuals with tails. I know that once I figure this out it will look right,, like the chords in House of the rising sun. But I just don't know how to make it work. Sorry to bother but I want this right. It's my third attempt at a custom and I'm exploring more to make it better. Perhaps I'm not entirely sure of the procedure for making an arpeggio. I took music theory MANY years ago,, so I understand the concept, but, for whatever reason I am unable to translate it into EoF.

  4. This may have been covered but I can't find it. There are a few sections of a song I'm working on that are a chord shape, with the first note ringing through and the others follow, obviously getting shorter as you go. I can clearly hear it in the song. The notes show up in EoF after the import but it looks more like a solo and I have no CLUE how to make a note hold on and continue through the next notes,, ultimately forming a chord. They have no length on the note so it just looks like like a single note. I tried extending the notes on the tab BUT because there is another note coming it won't let me. I tried building a chord, I can't specify the length and start time for each note. I would also like to specify the chord shape in EoF as it is FAR easier to play it that way. If I could extend the length of the note in EoF that would probably be the easiest as the sections occur several times and I could replace all of them with the tools I have found. But HOW!!!! I have run a test of the track and in Rocksmith 2014 they show up as single notes. And I just tried arpeggios , I don't know how to specify how long to hold it.

  5. On a side note. Sometimes when you upload a CDLC video to youtube ( it has never done it to me with an official DLC ) the audio is not synced correctly. The way to avoid this is to not record until you are IN THE SONG after tuning. Just a trick I figured out.

  6. Umm, now mind you, this is my opinion. Go with the Flow ( Rythym ) and Do You Remember ( Lead ) to me are the easiest songs on this game. I have been playing a long time but do not believe I am anywhere near as good as I should be. And as has been said, Riff Repeater is your friend.

  7. For my headless D'Addario ESXL125's I don't have a lot of options for that guitar. For now, all my others have D'Adadario 120's on them. They seem to last me a good while. But I have used MANY different brands. I guess I just got tired of GHS Boomers.

  8. Ok, has anyone else played OR own one of these? I know they are really new. I honestly had not considered Schecter and I really don't know why, but anyway. I was at the local music shop and a Hellraiser Hybrid caught my eye. Not flashy but a nice looking guitar with the right touches as far as looks go. ( just my opinion ) I grabbed it and started playing,, I think I have found my next guitar. It felt REALLY good. I'm going back down to the store tomorrow and well, my wife might be super pissed at me. Thoughts on Schecter , advice, anything. From what I have found about them I think maybe I should have looked sooner.

  9. I actually saw a video on this subject about a year ago. The guy pointed out that the cheap copy he was showing actually FIXED a Gibson design flaw ( the thing about the necks breaking ) but otherwise it was crappy. He went through and fixed the setup, the poor wiring and others and when he was done,, hell I'd have it in my stable.

  10. I have had several guitars with Floyds on em. I like them well enough that my next guitar MAY have one. I've been stuck on this headless guitar thing for a long time now and , well, my Steinberger designed trems are easier to deal with, but a bitch to replace ( parts are hard to find and pricey if you can find them ) I used to have an Aria Pro II from way back in the 80's, man I could beat the snot out of that Floyd Rose ( Doing my best Steve Via impression ) and it would stay in tune.

  11. Carvin Quad-X Preamp with a Carvin HT 150 for power ( for now ). A homebuilt 212 cabinet loaded with Warehouse Guitar Speakers WGS Reaper on one side and a WGS Green Beret ( Think Celestion Green Back without the mid spike ) on the other.

  12. Yes, it was very expensive to run multiple gaming servers, along with a complex website. I fully understand the concept of keeping the funding at only what you need, I just hope it doesn't become a money problem for you. With 7200 members and still growing, getting enough donations when needed shouldn't be an issue and I really appreciate the transparency as to where the money is going. That's a good thing. Keep up the good work. Gonna kick in a few $'s and do my part as soon as I'm done here. I don't want to be a leacher. Good job folks, so far I'm digging it.

  13. Umm , yeah . You kind of should leave it open for donations. In theory the more money you have available the longer the site can run. I helped with a major gaming clan many years ago and as the clan, grew so did the expense. We even started selling clan merchandise to help with the funding, and that's when it went south. The 2 founding members had very different ideas of what to do with the profits from selling merchandise. One wanted to put it all back to the clan site and servers, the other wanted to pocket it, and BOOM, a major gaming clan was destroyed. you guys have 7200 + members already, I expect it will slow after the wave of changeovers nears an end but it is growing FAST.

  14. Just wanted to say THANK YOU for taking on this project AND a big thank you to your wife for not only putting up with the amount of time you are putting into it, but putting in serious effort as well. Thank you to all who have , and continue to keep this thing going, and maybe even better this time. Thank you to all the contributors and donators and programmers and designers and thank you , thank you, THANK YOU!!!! Much love coming at you.
