  1. Sounds like you're using the latest version of the D3DX9_42.dll, but are you also using the latest version of Rocksmith? No "beta" or "JustInCaseWeNeedIt"'s? That would be my first guess.
  2. Try deleting the rs1 compatibility files and then verifying files via Steam.
  3. Changing it to 1 won't give you better latency on a normal set up. I have heard at least 1 person claiming it makes a difference on an audio interface with ASIO drivers, but can't confirm better latency. I can, however tell you that changing from 2 to 1 when using an interface can cause audio distortion.
  4. To change the DLC key for a song in CFSM, right click on the song and select "Edit Song Information". I'm not sure I completely understand your question. Are you trying to play these songs in Rocksmith or upload them to CustomsForge? Generally, if the charter isn't around anymore to fix issues that a lot of the older charts have (or the chart is no longer available on CF); then I would see no problem with uploading the chart and crediting the original creator. However, if you're just using the repair function of CFSM and then uploading it, I wouldn't see a point as anyone can do that with CFSM. If you're importing the files into EOF and rebuilding the chart making note/notation/anchor/sync issues, that's another story. Again, I wouldn't see an issue with that, and crediting the original creator should be fine. It is, however, recommended that you try to contact the original creator and have them update the chart if you can. If they no longer use CF or do not respond, then there's nothing really stopping you from posting the updated chart.
  5. Win32UltraLowLatencyMode is an on/off setting. (0 or 1) There isn't much to change for audio latency on a non-ASIO set up, though, and you already have the latency buffer on the lowest setting for non-ASIO devices.
  6. You can request songs in the wishlist. If you need support, you can ask here or in the #Support channel of the Discord.
  7. Sorry we don't provide support for piracy of ubisoft content here. It is against our rules https://customsforge.com/index.php?/guidelines/ . Closing this thread.
  8. Sniper basically cover most of it, though I do have another question. Are there any crash logs in the Rocksmith folder? They'll look like this:
  9. Any of you using an ASUS mouse by chance?
  10. I actually had someone with the same issue/fix the other day
  11. You can change what finger is used in FHPs inside EOF. Just select the chord and edit it like you would a note.
  12. Basically, this. If it works on a fresh install and then stops working, you had to have changed something. OP: Try uninstalling/reinstalling the game (and removing/backing up all CDLC) and then run it and try to load a song. If it works then use the CDLC enabler and and a CDLC to the DLC folder and try playing that one. If that works, then you should be able to throw all your CDLC back into the DLC folder. If you want to use mods, then I would only do so after you've confirmed the base game and CDLC are working. Make sure you are using the latest version of everything; Rocksmith, CDLC enabler, RSMods, all of it.
  13. Are you using any mods? I doubt having the latest D3DX9_42.dll is causing the crash.
  14. I was attempting to do this myself the other day, but I got the same errors and even grabbing Wwise 2010 didn't fix it. Imagine you'd have to re-encode the audio file and rebuild the psarc from there, but that's just a guess.
  15. You can request songs here.
  16. Though you may think the problem is Windows 11 itself, I doubt that is the root cause. I am using Windows 11, and so are lots of other people who have the game working fine. I have not heard of this problem with having just a white box appear. If it works in Windows 10 (and I am assuming by your wording, that it's a fresh install of Windows 10 with nothing but Steam + Rocksmith installed), then I'm going to also assume it would probably work the same on a fresh install of Windows 11. Are you using the RealTone Cable and headphones/speakers plugged directly into your computer? What CPU do you have? Have you used an Oculus device in the past on your Windows 11 install? Does the game still not launch correctly with nothing but a fresh install (no extra dlls, no mods, nothing)? There are a lot of factors that could be causing the issue. If you would like faster responses, you can join us in #support on our Discord.
  17. You could backup your DLC folder on a different drive and save yourself the trouble.
  18. I am unsure what causes the issue you are having. I did download "So What" and edited the song information on CFSM, changing multiple fields (Song Title, Album, sorting fields) and the DLC Key did not change. There is a "Preserve Stats" option under Custom Mods, if you want to try that.
  19. There is quite a few things here to unpack. First, I would take what Sandyclawz has mentioned and implement that. These are the changes I would make first to see if it works for you: Input 1 to Yamaha Steinburg USB ASIO Change channel to 1 (if you are using the second input on it) Clear selection on Input 2 Output to Yamaha Steinburg USB ASIO Buffer Size to "Driver" Disable WASAPI Input Disable WASAPI Output Clear selection of Microphone Lower Latency Buffer to 2-4. 10 is extremely high and 4 is default. Disable "Enable Microphone" Enable "Real Tone Cable Only" Enable "Exclusive Mode" If you, for some reason, want to use your microphone in Rocksmith, then you can ignore #8, #10, and #11. If this works to get sound from your guitar and out to your headphones/speakers but the audio is distorted, you should adjust your Buffer Size in your interface's driver or set Buffer Size to "Custom" and start with a value of 96 or 192 and increase/decrease by 32 or 48 until it works well for you.
  20. Unfortunately, to my knowledge, we don't support console versions of CDLC anymore (that's why you wont find those files and have to convert them on your own). And the toolkit is also very outdated and not really used anymore. Looking at the error box, it gives information about how to fix it. I would start there.
  21. You may, in some instances, need to make an exception in your anti-virus for the .dll file. If you need further assistance; let me know.
  22. You may want to try validating the arrangements on the original CDLC files to be sure that's the case. It's not really that big of a deal if you're just making these changes for yourself anyways. If it works for you, then it works, and there isn't much to worry about. Even though there are many standards we would like every CDLC to have, doesn't mean that they will have them.
  23. That would be because having an empty first measure is part of the CDLC creation standard. It may work fine, but that doesn't mean it should be like that for a good chart. It's an easy fix, and generally I wouldn't ignore the DLC Builder's errors. However, there are some minor problems DLC Builder will complain about that can safely be ignored.
  24. As soon as you mentioned it, I quickly realized why you would want to do that.
  25. Good tip Blues! (I never actually unpack and repack psarcs so I didn't think about that function)
