  1. @@ShrillBear52,

About the two first issues (chord boxes and single linked notes), it is because these chords and notes are separated by a new section.

With DD, each section can evolve separately and may have different levels of DD.

To correct this, you can move the section, but as Firekorn said, a section must always start on the first beat of a measure (DDC do this automatically if it is not the case in your EOF project).

About the grid you can use the [song][Highlight non grid snapped notes] menu in EOF to display all notes which are not grid snapped (it depends on the grid snap settings that you have previously chosen).

When you create a new song, it is better to synchronize each measure with the soundtrack instead of moving the notes. If you do that, you will be able to import the notes in each arrangement without having to resync them with the soundtrack.

1).Which section has seperate chords? And what do you mean by "move a section".

Also,I'm counfused about this: In my earlier projects I did this way as the starting (after finishing the notes in gp6 af course).

    -set the correct bpm

    -set the right time signature

-move the beats to the starting point( where it should start in the wavegraphs)

But the problem is with the leading silence. In my very earlier projects I always added the leading silence and not did anything with that. After a few months,a project of my cutted of most of the notes in the intro part (when I used DD ) and then after I signd this problem I was told to use the "push offset back" at the beat menu part and that solved the problem. But as I remember in my earlier works I shouldn't had to do this part and didn't realy have issue with it.But correct me if I'm wrong pls.

2).I always use this feature of course and in this project I don't have non grid snaped notes, because I could see the yellow sign at the "amazing part". I use a custom settings wich is 1/64 that was suggested by Firekorn a few months ago.

I still don't understand how do I suppose to "synchronize" each measure with the soundtrack "properly".

  2. 1) all the note are off grid which is inherently bad.

    2) DDC will always set the section start on the first beat of a measure which means that it will move the section compare to what you have in your EOF which is the very likely cause of your issue. Note that is likely because the beat map is incorrect which is a flaws on your part.

    3) it's hard to tell for the bend what is the real cause here but with all the flaws in the chart anyway, it might be a combination of issue that leads to that result.

1.) Whad do you mean by that exactly?

    2) Then how should I do the beat mapping correctly or do something to fix this without sarting the whole project again?

  3. I've almost finishd my project but have a few issues with it (as usually).

The most appering problem is with the chord boxes.

At a few point on the song some of the chords are do not appers as a repeated "strum pattern" even through they have "High density" enabled (Thanks Rockman for pointing this out to me).

    eg: http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu/160928/Screenshot_2016-09-25_15.25.42_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.png

The next one is more of a problem.

In the pic. you can see the notes are appers separately however they have "link to next" enabled.

    http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu/160928/Screenshot_2016-09-25_15.25.28_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.png

The last one is with the bends.

One double-stop has an extra bend on the b string however I only set it for the g string.(via tech-view of course) http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu/160928/Screenshot_2016-09-25_15.26.40_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.png

I don't know if is this an issue at all,but this doublestop has "pre-bends" enabled after this first one.

I think they don't appers as "pre-bends" but could be the game's fault to not registering.

    http://www.kepfeltoltes.hu/160928/Screenshot_2016-09-25_15.26.42_www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.png

(I can't realy tell if this a pre-bend or not so don't blame me about this one pls.)

Again, most of this (exepct the bends) are not problems with out DD on the .XML files.

but you can only find out if you watch the project file

Please let me know if I made something wrong and that's cause the problem(s).

    Thanks!

  4. You can also modify the tab on any song, yes.

RST has an option that allows you to unpack the songs, so you can edit the songs. In order to do that, I advice to take a look to how to make a CDLC from scratch, that is quite close. You won't have to redo everything though, just correct what's needs to be corrected.

Wow,I never knew that,I guess man learns something new every day.

  5.

I couple of CDLCs I downloaded are in a different tuning than the recording, and thus a different tuning than I am used to playing them in. Is there a way to change the tuning, and have the in-game notation adjusted to reflect the correct tuning?

Specifically I'm referring to some of the Misfits tabs from the American Psycho album, recorded in Eb but the tabs are in standard and it's really messing with me.

You can't change the tab, to have the song for the correct tunning you have to recreate that song wiht the tabs (wich in this case are Eb tunnings)

But If you just want to change the tunning for the songs all you need to do is open up the RockSmith ToolKit and then hit Import Package. Then, just select the Track wich one do you want to edit in the "Arrangements" part and hit edit, from there you can change the tunning.

Thanks! I gave that a shot, will try them out later. Is it still going to use the same tab or will it adjust the tab to fit the new tuning?

The tab is not going to change as I said, just the tunning. If you want to have a song with a different tunning along with the matching tabs, you have to create that song on your own.

  7. I just recently started to using this function in EOF.The strage thing what I don't understand is when I click on  the "show" button and look for that specific part (where I named the selected notes "eg:leadscale1).I see that one of the chord is not appering in the appropriate place (in this case in "leadscale3") (see the pic.below) I'm still very new for this part,so there could be something what I did wrong.

  8. Well, I just started to try my newest song with official quality DD, and red this tutorial, however, in the game the DD is behaving like what I expected,I selected notes first and named them as "leadscale1" in a section and in another section as "leadscale2" .So basicly what I did is just markd the sections in the song without the also ad as pharse feature, and then selected the notes in the sections and named them in the catalog menu multiple times (what I meant with multiple time is just selected a bunch of notes and named them "leadscale1",and then selected more notes and named them "leadcale1" again  in the same section)I thought it wasn't going to go that easy, but the tutorial (in some parts) wasn't so clear to me,most likely it's my fault that the DD not behave as it should, but I don't know what did I made wrong, so any help would be awsome! thx

  9. Well I don't know it this is even an issue or not, but I just started working on a new song, and some chords  (C barre chords)  are marked with bends and even in the guitar pro tab not include bends for those 2 C chords, that wouldn't be a problem, if I could remove it but the problem is when I hit the "remove bend Button" it didn't removes the bend + if i delete a note from the chord the bend is dissapearing but even if i put that note back (with mouse right-click) the bend is appers again, oh and in the first C chord (wich has bend) if I delet the note from the g string the bends dissapears (on that chord) however if I delete the d string from the second chord then the bends dissaper on that one.I don't know if this is even normal or not I just simply can't remove those bends properly

  10.

Regarding the tunings being set in EoF, I don't really see a problem with BEADGC displaying as 0,0,0,0,0,0 relative tuning, but I think it would be best that when it exports to Rocksmith it does the tuning relative to EADGBE like the toolkit does (as -5,-5,-5,-5,-4,-4). I'm not 100% sure if this would fix the problems with note detection because of the necessity of the low tuning fix, and sometimes needing to use guitar charts, but it would solve another problem. When you import a BEADGC tuning chart into the toolkit, it reads it as being in EADG tuning, so for a charter who isn't paying close attention to anything unless a warning pops up it will end up being in the wrong tuning (and maybe having the green beams issue if it's a "true 5-string" chart, but that's a somewhat different issue).

I suppose we'll see how the toolkit developers want to proceed.

Please correct me If I'm wrong ,but since when EOF needs Lame and Vorbis Tools to use the MP3 support???(I haven't look at the updates for ages).

Every Windows release candidate I post comes with these tools already. You only have to manually get/install them if you are using a Mac build (an installer is provided) or building EOF from source code (the EOF build wiki files describe how to do this)

I download it,and change the path to my one, saved it,but the lame.exe does not working,it closes immediately after I run the .exe file.

LAME is a command line program, you can't just double click on it to use it. It's not likely EOF would have problems with the MP3/OGG functionality unless there was interference (ie. antivirus quarantine the lame.exe or oggenc2.exe files, or if you put EOF in a place that's restricted in Windows such as within either "Program Files" folder). You can try closing EOF and then removing/renaming the eof.cfg file in your EOF installation, so that when EOF opens up it goes to all default settings and you can configure your preferences. Otherwise you may want to try getting a fresh EOF installation by extracting RC11 someplace and then extracting the latest hotfix on top of it.

Oh yes thank you very much! I placed the folder to the "Program Files" folder and I changd it,so now it's good :D

  11. @@ShrillBear52, what version you've got? use last release and hotfix, it should include lame+vorbistools as for windows version idk about OS X one. all works just fine after first launch it flashes with windows, make sure it doesn't blocked with AV proactive defense  then do settings and exit. launch again and you've got working copy of EOF

That's strange then,I use the latest version and even added EOF to the exception list.....

  12. since some time ago already, the toolkit can do the conversion from ogg/wav to wem without you having to do anything more than providing the correct file which should be easy cause EOF is creating them and correctly naming it if you decided to the preview with it.

From there you'll have perfectly working wem file without touching or even opening wwise so it will be faster and mistake-proof.

Without doing that there's many details that can simply make the wem file not work correctly with RS (generally it's the granularity table that is not set to the correct value).

I see,I tested without the preview and it says it's not compatible with the "newest" Wwise version, and the only problem is that I want to use that preview what I've created but I guess have no other choices.

Edit:still not working,I've downloaded the 2015.1 version, but it  installs the 2015.1.7 version(WTF?) and still says it's not compatible!

  13. Again,I don't know how much time passed since,I wrote my last reply.I made 2 recently (with the new methods) but somehow,in the lear a song menu If I chose that song,I hear strange noise in the preview, and If I play start,it freez in the beginning of the song, and after a few seconds it quit. I don't know what did I made wrong,my guess would be the settings in Wwise,I see there is a new version for it,but I don't know what settings could be make the issue.....

  14. You didn't say which track this is in, but assuming this is the PART REAL_GUITAR track, you have one manually defined fret hand position of 6 set at the beginning of measure 80 (the 8th phrase, as in your second screen capture).  Having any fret hand positions in a track difficulty prevents EOF from generating positions for it automatically during save, and will cause the behavior you described.  Deleting it (Use "Track>Rocksmith>Fret hand positions>List" to verify that it's there, then you can select and delete it) is probably your best bet.  I'm not sure why you have all the notes highlighted, it's a bit distracting and I'm not sure what purpose it is to have everything highlighted instead of just certain spots that need fixing.  You can remove highlighting for a track with "Track>Erase highlighting" or for selected notes with Note>Highlight>Off.

I didn't mentioned (sry) but in the previous picture where the note appers in the not wanted frets,it doesn't have that 6th frethandposition in the project file, however what I sent earlier (project) has a different appering in game(wich is worst so I deleted that position).

  15. It's not clear what you're asking.  Your in-game screen capture only indicates that a fret hand position of 19 is in effect at that time.  I don't have a current version of that project file to tell you if this is appropriate, but it's how you have it authored.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/jrlj1j7tbtxfu8e/finals.eof?dl=0  here you go,The problem is (what you can see in the pic.) is the C5 power chord(somehow it does not apper in RR for some reason)is appers in the 19th fret and not at the 6th fret, and that's what I want to achieve.

  16. When you set the fret hand position it lasts until the next fret hand position change occurs.  So you would have to set the fret hand position both before and after the note if that's what you're wanting to achieve.

My question is how can I set the frethandposition for only a single note to apper at the 6-7th frets and not at the 19-20th frets(as you can see in the second  picture).

  17. Open chords will display at whatever fret the fret hand position is currently set to.  This may be because the position is manually set in the project, or the last note before the open chord was simply that high up on the guitar neck.  This isn't a problem, but you can change the fret hand position at/before the open chord to make it display at a lower fret number.

I understand it,but how can I set the frethandposition for only a single note?
