  1. FYI - I am working on a multi-track, live version of Thunderstruck by AC/DC right now. Hoping to have a cdlc for the full songs and then separate files for No-Lead, No-Rhythm, No-Bass tracks that will allow players to play those parts and only hear their instrument with the rest of the band. In other words, the particular track will be muted. For example, No-Lead will have the lead guitar track muted out so you can hear all your imperfect notes, if you are like me :).
  2. @manchot66 Thanks for the detailed write up. Went to the local guitar center and they didnt have any Dean guitars that I saw so I will have to keep looking in stores until I can find one and play it.
  3. @@RSBass Finally played the updated version of Johnny Winter's Jumping Jack Flash. I think the tuning change was a good addition. Honestly, I am impressed that I could even get 76% on this song. Those solos are sick. If I can ever get to 80, I will be happy.
  4. @avdocatwork @manchot66 - Im glad you guys brought up the Flying V. I always wanted one but didnt want to shell out the cash for it. So, you recommend this guy's guitars? You feel it performs better than a Gibson? Any info you can provide would be great. Thanks Never listened to UFO before but will try and test some of those songs soon.
  5. Welcome! I thought this was a safe place from one of the creepier avatars I have seen in a while :) Glad to see another tester!
  6. Im looking for recommendations for great tones that I can assign to the tone slots. I would like tones that can go well with many songs since sometimes the default tones that come with a sing are not great. I know this is tough since all sings have different tones but if you have some favorites let me know. To cover a lot of ground I currently have a clean, lead and OD tone assigned to the 3 slots. Is it possible to have more than 3 assigned tones? If it helps I play mostly classic rock and brit rock like oasis.
  7. @avdocatwork I tested out the bass on we're not gonna take it and I believe it is spot on. It was a cool bass line. The only possible recommendation would be to turn up the bass volume slightly.
  8. Try removing the cdlc's you dl'd since the issue began and see if the issue is gone. If so, add the cdlc's back one/two at a time until the issue happens again.
  9. @@avdocatwork I tested out the lead of we're not gonna take it and it was a ton of fun. Thanks. Tone is great. Sync was solid. I agree w manchot - the solo looks to be missing a few notes plus vibrato and bends on some notes. It was late when I was testing but it might have been out of sync slightly.
  10. @@manchot66 I will speed up the chart. Never tried that!
  11. @@RSBass Thanks for the video tutorial. I will try it out on Search and Destroy. Audio is not great for it.
  12. @@RSBass Can you explain what you do in audacity to help add to the audio? I thought the audio was loud but not necessarily in a bad way. I could always lower my speakers if I want..

  14. @@RSBass Thanks again for JJF. Cant stop playing it - so good.
  15. @@avdocatwork For the JW solos and any really hard solos, that is the time where you close your eyes and play your pentatonic scales in the right box and hope for the best :) Also, thanks for getting me back into the CCR mindset. Born on the Bayou is one of my all time favorite RS songs to play and I dl'd your 3 pack and will give them a go soon. Search and Destroy is a really powerful tune and really rocks. The song as a whole isnt too hard once you find that groove. The one impossible part for me is one small section of the solo. You will know it when you see it....
  16. If you have generated a psarc file you would just need to throw it in your dlc folder and start the game. But you would need an arrangement or else there is no path to select in the game. If you get a newer version of toolkit, you don't need to use wwise as the toolkit does that for you. You just need to make sure wwise is installed on your machine
  17. @RSBass I just played JJF on rhythm and lead. I was right - the solo kicked my arse. Rhtyhm I actually found tougher than lead! Here are my thoughts: Sync - Pretty spot on. I did not notice anything lagging or speeding up. Audio - Audio was loud but in a good way. Quality seemed to be higher than standard mp3 but I could be wrong. Can you tell me how you created the audio and if it is better than mp3? Tone - Tone seemed pretty good. JW's tone seems to use some more bass and has a bit more bite to it but the tone you provided is really good. Im not a technical tone person so its hard to explain it from a technical sense. Overall this is an awesome cdlc and one I will be playing for a while. Goal is to get to 85% on lead!
  18. Dude.....I can't believe you have this version of JJF!!! I wanted to chart either this version or Frampton's live version. I will give this a go sometime soon. The solo will probably be nuts but I'm looking forward to it.
  19. Hey guys, I had not done a classic rock song in a while until yesterday. If any of you are interested - I put out Iggy Pop - Search and Destroy.
  20. I removed the unnecessary audio files and this worked. Thanks.
  21. Ok @@cozy1 - I will do that and re-package the psarc and see if it works. You can disregard my PM, except for the 2nd half :)
  22. @@cozy1 I am having the same exact issue with one of my cldc's. Can PM you my project files?
