Sorry I'm not able to post my new CDLC. I spent a good week working on the tab. It has one of the most fun bass lines ever. It's from Ys. And it's a really awesome song.

Small updates. First of all. Busy. World of Warcraft yet again, taking a lot of my time. Because of poor game design. I still play it because of the somewhat amazing story (Books are better), the decent class design, I love trying new classes. And questing. The graphics on the other hand... needs an upgrade, and ffs let me remove FOG. I don't want my scenery ruined by a blanket of darkness which makes it look out of place. It's a little sad to be honest. WoW has so much potential, but it's going this really greedy route where it wants your cash and you as the player aren't valued. If I can't get my Heavenly Azure Cloud Serpant or see it in sight after I get my Felfire Hawk, I'm gonna call it quits on that aspect and go back to my routine. I also have to keep in mind, with most of the content being locked behind skill/grind walls, it's quite obvious how greedy they are. If they really cared about players, they'd scrap this RNG, grind and skill aspect of it, and reward it for milestones. Or after large quest chains, which is an RPG aspect apparently My routine is going to be games one day, projects/work another. I do Artwork and Writing outside of this. And hentai. I also write some music. And I have a lot of stuff to do. For CDLC's, nothing special coming up? It depends on the time I have and whether I can get it done before the Yogscast Jingle Jam. OH, and WoW events. Gotta do those for the weird achievement for the Pink Proto Drake. I may make Dragonforce CDLC for the songs on their new album. It was surprisingly good. Admittedly, I thought it was going to be cringe city, but it was fine. Everyone was doing their part. It sounded good. It's fine. As for tabbing? Only one song at the moment. It's a Falcom JDK cover of a Ys song called Mother Earth Altago? I Love that song. It sounds so awesome. The part where the guitars kick in, it's one of the most beautiful riffs ever. It sounds so 80s. And funnily enough, it was from the same collection as Dreaming. I've definitely got to listen to that playlist again. There was over 400 songs in it I think. I think I stopped because I said "It was too much."

Is it me or is Dropbox becoming utter trash in terms of being able to download a file? There has been several download links on CustomsForge that say there was an error downloading. This only happens on Dropbox.

The Team Sonic Racing OST is sounding amazing. Holy fuck.
if there's anything I see worth learning, I'll probably tab it. -
I forgot to say. I'm just playing through the Danganronpa games for the first time. Not bad gameplay, great story, great characters, and meh graphics. But the story is so damn interesting. I love Chihiro. Shame he had to die, but in the end, he was the MVP, he saved everyone (It'd be spoilers if I tell you how)

That's all my CDLC done for a while. Before another issue may appear. I need to either find one or someone else does. And I'll fix anything. I check my content around three or four times per day, so I'll get to work on it as soon as possible. Also, I plan on listening to A LOT of music at some point. Around the time I pay The Witcher 3 again. I plan on listening to all the Pokemon soundtracks, Colleseum and XD sound amazing from the playthroughs I watched. And expect some of those to appear. I may tab some of those songs if I need to. So here's hoping I find some good music out of it.
-
So... Pokemon Sword and Shield looks interesting. However, I only pack a Sword. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Time to create a 14 minute CDLC... try and guess what it is? And I'm not 100% sure if I'm actually capable of making it happen. So don't get hopes up. XD

Why I May Give Up Learning Songs Ever since I become a tabber, it’s become very clear that I’m not really cut out for it exactly? Despite all my knowledge of music theory, I still struggle with parts of it. And overall, my biggest turn off for it is the time it takes. I suppose it’s quicker than how most people learn it, but it is time consuming because of the way I learn it, which is every measure played back twice, until I get it right. And it works. There’s a good reason why I want to give up though. I do feel I’m doing a service by giving other guitar players confidence and allowing them to learn these songs with ease, but I’m beginning to realize how much better it is just to enjoy music. It’s the same with video games. I have had experience developing modifications for games, but these are using tools provided by others. I edited maps on Team Fortress 2 and even edited code to make stuff work. And I always found it more fun to play. And it’s the same with learning music. And I am kinda saying that somebody else should learn these songs. I’ve been editing tabs for 3 years and learning songs by ear nearly over 2 years. Part of my reasons for wanting to stop, is I have better things to do. And on top of that, I’m considering playing Rocksmith to learn the techniques so I can actually begin writing music, and do much better at it. Then be able to create my own music. So much of my time is wasted learning songs which I can enjoy, but it feels very boring after a while, and I’ve been learning songs for years through Rocksmith too. I’m at the point where I want to write my own stuff, maybe jam on my guitar for hours at a time rather than learn songs. At the end of the day, I’m happy if I made other people happy, but if I don’t care about my own happiness, I’m going to end up unhappy or worse and that means I won’t be able to contribute anything. I was happy when I started tabbing, in a way. I was kinda proud of my tabs, but now it’s just questioning whether I wanted to do it or not? And I prefer artwork because of how much freedom I have as well as being able to enjoy myself doing it.

I get you mate, once I've tabbed out a song and figured out how it goes I just cant enjoy it anymore when it comes on in my playlist. Even if it is a great song.
I'm grateful for all the great bands I've discovered because of your work and it always amazes me how you can figure out demetori's solos. But at the end of the day it must've been a lot of hard work.
Do what you want as long as it make you happy and I look forward to hearing your own music if you get around to making some.
-
Thanks. The Demetori solos are tough. I managed to tab them with enough practice from learning songs. They're not 100% accurate, but they're as close as I can get them.
Again, my biggest problem with tabbing is it takes so long. One or two days might seem quick, but it's around 10-30 hours per tab. That's for two arrangements usually.
On the bright side, I did find a style to my own music.
I doubt you'd be interested in the music I made. It's weird and far from perfect. Though there's three songs I'm pretty proud of. I also work on a lot of other projects outside of tabbing, I write fan fiction, draw artwork, write articles (Poorly written, and I always write them with good intentions and focus on the subject), write reviews.
One of the quotes I live my life by is 'Life is too short' and I agree with that completely, I always make it a goal to be productive and give back to the world for the wonderful things that have been created. Any time I'm sitting anywhere doing nothing, I feel like I'm wasting time, because every second is precious. Sadly, I've got into a habit of overthinking, as a result, I've replaced science with fact (It sounds strange, but it's true) and I'm dangerously close to figuring out things hundreds of people in their professions have failed to acknowledge. I both feel cursed and blessed.
Sorry, that last part was creepy. I just apply lube to reality and bingo, that's me. Slipping.
I'll probably start finishing up on what I have planned and still make CDLC, just not tab as often.

Just to let everyone know what I'm working on (There's a few other things, but I'm rushing to get these done, if anyone wants to do me a favor and get these old CDLC's updated before I do, I'd appreciate it) I really want to get things done before Article 13 happens? I plan on playing a few games and listening to a crap ton of music whilst playing them (Witcher 2 and 3, to give a proper review) and I plan on playing Eastshade because it looks damn interesting. Here's the list in the comments.
-

I'm gonna look for some CDLC quests. I may consider tab quests, but it's depending on if I want to learn it. My motivation for tabbing comes from firstly whether I like the song, and second whether it's worth learning or seems fun to play. I might surprise a guy who messaged me about the Ys Battle theme and tab that out first
-
Now this is done:
I can finally get back to work. I'm creating a tab or two. Then I'm going to work on creating CDLC. After that, I may play games? But I will create CDLC when I feel a song I want to learn. -
BEST SONG EVER CREATED IN THE HISTORY OF doggo. And yes, I'm planning on creating this as a CDLC. I'm aware of the other two CDLC's, but those are old, and low-ish quality. I mean, I'll tab parts of the song to make all the arrangements possible to play. I love THIS SONG. It brings a tear to my eye. Also, Asriel is a cutie.
-
I'm gonna fix Real - Future Connection soon and add an INSTRUMENTAL version, as I just discovered an instrumental version exists. It's gonna come in handy for correcting my mistakes.
-
Demetori - Colorful Path (CANCELLED). I was going to tab this, but after listening to the song, I realised the only thing worth learning was the solo... I'm not saying it is a bad song, I actually really like it, but the length combined with the lack of... interesting riffs? Don't hate pls. But I'm being serious. I don't see much worth tabbing in this song. If it was in the level of Eastern Dream and all of its interesting riffs., I would have tabbed it, but it's far from an 'Eastern Dream'
-
Scarlet Devil is cancelled. It is a CROW'SCLAW song. I reviewed the 'Old' tab again, and it's still wrong. The BPM and timings are completely wrong, but for some reason, the BPM is 136? Anyway, I listened to the song back to see if I wanted to fiddle with tempo at all, and there's only really bits of the rhythm and lead I want to learn. So no, I'm not gonna bother tabbing it out. Plus, it reminds me of a Ascending Into Naught by Demetori.

11 Tabs Left, and some Updates. These 11 Tabs will most likely lead into December. However, when I'm done with that, I plan on doing other side projects, on top of trying to beat Pokemon Let's Go. I got to the post game, I just need to obtain my crown, grab all the Pokemon I've not obtained, and beat the Master Trainers, and that's it for the end game. Of course I need TMs too. Then I might try some online battles, and write some music. I've already wrote music though... and done a lot of projects. You can discover it for yourself here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCx7EGZD_iyKzWP_kgveSMTQ?view_as=subscriber
