  4. Sadly there's kids like me who have other siblings and are in a tight money situation who can't afford lessons. Rocksmith has got me to where I am now, aka playing songs like Sweet Child 'o mine and such without help from the game. Honestly, at the end of the day it comes down to how much do you want it. Just saying.
  5. Thanks guys, I've taken a bit of all of your advice. I calmed down stopped pressuring myself and just all together relaxed. Anyway what I did was I used Audacity, slowed the tempo similar to what riff repeater does and I played along with some tabs. After 2 plays I nailed the song. Im not sure what my problem was, but I really thank you guys for the help/ support. All I can say to anyone else in the situation is to calm down and not frustrate yourself like I was doing, because playing along with a song from memory is one of the most satisfying things I have done in my entire life.
  6. Yeah, sorry about that, didn't know where to put it. But thanks for the move.
  7. Hey guys, I was wondering what you guys do for practice and learning songs outside of rocksmith. I can read tab and such but obviously not all tabs are great and I find it very hard to play along with a song that I know would be incredibly easy in the game. For example, right now im trying to play My Hero by the Foo Fighters. Its mostly power cords and such, but for some reason I just can't get my timing down. Is there anything you guys recommend? Or do I just need to keep on attempting to play along with the song?
