  1. Hi, Guys

I have no idea how I did it, but my test run on my two new customs are sounding sweet. Here they are if anyone wants to give them a try.

    The Allman Brothers Band - Melissa - V3.0 L. R, B and V

Rhythm strumming pattern needs more work, but not too bad.

    America - Sandman - 1975 V3.0 L. R, B and V

Based on LaceyB's Version, all paths still need more work, but a great start on this one.

They both still need plenty of work, but they are really playable so far.

    Later, Terry

    Hi Terry,

Played Mellisa on bass sounds fine to me.

Played Sandman and seem like the bass cuts out way before the song is done playing, may just be how the Tab is...

    Thanks.

    JB

  2. Hey Man don't be to hard on yourself bud, one of the cool things about RS is the fact that we all get to not only play along to the full band, but we get the benefit of having our instruments put through digital gear, all those tones, mixers and gadgets. SO the sounds you make on Rocksmith are more then just what your playing. When your just straight through on an amp its raw and unaltered by all the back stage studio mixing magic. And these guys, our beloved masters of rock and roll, well they are just that! They played everyday, wrote these songs, know them by heart, had a floor full of effects pedals and stomp boxes altering their stock gear,  and got PAID to do that. (once they stopped feeling like eddie munster) SO in the end. I'd say RS helps compensate for all those things and provides we, the less able to become paid "working men" and gives us that enjoyable experience... Just my 2  chords ;)

  3. Hi, Guys

I think I finally have a decent version of CCR's Green River. I did use RSBass's Bass tone suggestion and I think the Bass Path sounds awesome. It's not too darn hard either, to play, if I can pretty much keep up with it. I extended the Rhythm Path playing, chord strumming pattern all the way through the song. I also added the Multi-Tracks to it. And got all the chord changes lined up right I think.

Here's a link to all of them, if anyone wants to give this cool song a try.

    Terry,

I played this version and its much better now, but it does sound like a bit too much distortion added to it. if you tweak that back a bit it should be pretty decent.

    Hi Terry!

Glad you like the new pick-guard, I will be eventually having it stripped down and repainted with a Union Jack on it with a new translucent pick-guard i picked up :)  for now it is at least not another Black and White instrument hanging on my walls. Needed a flash of color around here.

Strings, these are DR Nylon-coated. They feel nice and seem to sound great. Cant really complain, will see how long they last. Santa is bringing me a new Strap for it I'm told, once that happens I plan to play it a lot more.

  5. Hello All,

Been kept frightfuly busy on the road these days, and no sign of that stopping anytime soon. Have been playing a bit but no charting still due to the time contraints on me. Some of you remember i bought i Fender MIM Pbass a while back with a broken truss rod, well I am picking her up today from the shop , can;t wait, replaced the Shitty Pickguard with this one and the new Nylon Strings as well :)

Happy Holidays to you all and hope 2016 keep you rocking!

Terry, I would love nothing more than do just that! Much as feared and explained last night I was up at 5am this morning, will be again tomorrow ,Thursday and Friday, and just now got the work i had to do to cover for my MIA coworker. I sadly think tomorrow and Thursday will be no different. As luck would have it,(And although I'm 50% Irish, the french half seems to win out) the weather cats are tracking a tropical storm rolling out of the Bahamas and may strike the east coast fri/sat... so Yea... loads of fun ahead. But like i said I may be back in December, and should that happen I will for sure come by and lay down some tracks with ya!!!

    All my thanks!!!

    Jerry

  9. Hey man thats great I will bring the Cable looks like you have everything we need. As for the current set list all I ask is that we play all the E-Standard stuff first then do the one song that needs a change. For some reason I don't think the game re-tunes right after leaving a non standard song.

Looking forward to hitting the ground Monday afternoon

    Hi, Jerry

I got my digital camera fired up and tested out, and also started on a list of tunes. I think we should make videos of us playing a set of CRC Members Customs.

    Steve's - manchot66

Buffalo Springfield - For What It's Worth
Mott the Hoople - All the Young Dudes

    (Mine) Terry's - avdocatwork

Bob Marley and the Wailers - Buffalo Soldier
    The Beach Boys - Kokomo
The Beatles - Twist And Shout (Avdocatwork Ver.)
    ZZ Top - Rough Boy

Will add more later, if anyone has CRC Members Customs suggestions for us to make a play-through video of let me know?

    Later, Terry

  11. Hi Folks,

The Fender got here today and its no where in as bad as shape as these guys said. Its a 2003 MIM Fender PBass, and surely needs Truss work. Got calls out already to see what I'll get hammered on for that :)

Tuned it up and played it for a bit , bad neck and all and MAN does this baby growl!!!

Stay tuned :) Yes all puns intended...
