I didn't get what you meant last week about The GazettE, but oops, I don't have any beginner suggestions up! I'll fix this soon, I can't remember any especially good beginner files off the top of my head.

No new score on FCPREMIX - I think I've scored 79% six or seven times in a row now. No new score on Walk the Plank either, because I didn't quite get down to C Standard today.

I've got a Computer Science degree, some industry webdev experience, and a lot of time on my hands. I'd be willing to help with one (or more) of these jobs.

I played all the songs today a bunch, but just tied myself, mostly. I must have been in the zone yesterday. Couple +1s, but I ain't busting out the print screen key for +1s on Sunday!

So after playing with my laptop extensively, I've discovered the crappy audio is actually coming from the computer, not the microphone. :rolleyes: I'm playing with the software to see if I can get it to sound acceptable, because if I succeed, I will make my grand return to the Big Screen! I've always wanted to sit down and learn this tune, here's a good excuse to. Didn't screenshot my first go. My first score was 71, after which I just immediately played the song again.

I mostly play this well, it's that one chuggy E string riff I somehow couldn't pick up the groove on first time around. There's that one chord shape during "stop, close your fucking legs!" where you staircase three frets and then the low string is on the 3 and 4. I started nailing that part when I started fretting that low string with my thumb. Makes doing the chord and switches a lot easier - you only have to let your thumb go to play the open string, and otherwise your hand stays in the same position. http://i.imgur.com/swGK7y5.jpg Little better. I didn't do as well at the solo here as my last play, but I had a lot less random miss demons.

I worked on the arpegs, but I still have a hard time handling them past 90% speed. As for Hail the Sun, I actually really dig the song, so I'd be cool with having a hard Advanced week. Really reminiscent of Fall of Troy, which is a sick band. I think it's not even too hard on the hands to execute, it's just really uncommon chord shapes that take a little more time to sink in than most songs. Though , maybe that's what difficulty is? :P

Sucks dude, because I don't think I've got 98 in me, not today at least. I was thinking about recording earlier this week, and I wish I had, because even that score I pulled now wasn't video worthy. Comes across in my tone that I'm exhausted and in pain, haha.

Surprised I even managed this much with how unrested I am (twelve hours of sleep over three days). @@Nacholede I checked out Hellrider (and some other stuff on that album), and I can definitely say I like new Priest better than old Priest now. Really good custom, too.
