  1. Here it is. :)

Checked all the settings twice. Is the problem really in Song Creator Toolkit, or do i have to look further back in EoF?

One thing i noticed in EoF is that i did not get the message to fill in the Interlude, verse, chorus and all that. (video above, starts at 11:00min...) Not sure if this might the problem

  2. followd this tutorial step by step to make my first cdlc.

everything goes  fine, i guess.... but the last step, generating the CDLC gave me a error.

"Can not 'Generate' a package quite yet..  one or more fields are missing information or contains invalid data.

I use eof 1.8RC12 and the latest version of the toolkit. v2.9.2.0

added the arrangements that i have made in eof correctly

    Guitar -lead (Eb) (default)

    Bass (E standard) (Default)

    Vocals

next the album jpg file and the wem file created in Wwise.

finaly game version rocksmith 2014, and set platform to PC.

    did i miss something here?

Hope anyone can help me to find out what went wrong

  3. Not sure in what topic i can post this, so i'll give it a shot. :)

I have rocksmith for PC with the original rocksmith cable.

Now, my daughter wants to play as well on here own computer , and we also want to try the muliplayer mode

I have allready this guitar interface cable. The IK Multimedia Stealthplug

    https://www.musicradar.com/reviews/tech/ik-multimedia-stealthplug-22797

Is there a way to use this cable instead of buying another rocksmith cable?

It seems there is a no-cable patch floating around on the net to bypass rocksmith detecting the original cable. But i'm not sure this will work.

    anyone got some idea's?

  4. In the toolkit, if you hoover your mouse over the 'Wwise Path:' in the toolkit 'Configuration' menu a tooltip popup will tell you all the compatible versions of Wwise.

Then go here, create an account and download any of the compatible Wwise versions.

Yes, i have seen that. and also created an account.  but i can't install any other version because of the visual c++ error i mentioned earlier.

  5. Ok, thanks. but i can't get a newer version installed. tried v2015 before on 2 different Windows 10 machines....  when installing i got an error about Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 error when wwise tries to download and install it.  the installation aborts and it writes a log file.

the log points to the vc2013redist_x86.exe installer.  but it is alleady installed. even some older and newer versions.

de-installing vc2013 and re-install does not solve the problem either.

  6. Yes thats correct. found some info about it. but i can't install an older version. version 2015 won't install because of all sorts of MS Visual c++ errors.

finaly i got Wwise version 2010.3.3 succesfully installed. but now when pressing "generate" in toolkit i got

    Error

"Configuration Wwise path is not set properly for RS2014 or conversion."

well, the path is realy there..

Is there anyone who has a solution for installing and configuring the toolkit with wwise on windows 10, and what versions are used..?

  7. Got a lot of troubles with installing and using wwise with the toolkit.

first of all i installed the newest version of WWise... not compatible.. uninstalled this version.

now i can't get any older version of wwise installed due to several errors

i tried v2015.1.9....no luck.  Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 error when installer is trying to download visual c++ while it's allready installed.  Failed to verify the package..

  8. Hello,

    i got some questions.:

i want to change from a existing CDLC file the audio. and swap it for a audio file with only the instrumental parts and without the vocals. i got the instrumental audio version already...so that's not the issue here.

It seems that this would be possible with the Song Creator tool kit.

    -  i tried to extract the file by pressing "import packard"

    -  now i got 2 directory's.  EOF and Toolkit

in the EOF directory i found the audio file in ogg format.

now what i want to do is export the instrumental file (which is a mp3 file) to ogg with audacity, than rename the file to it's original filename, and repack it.  and i'm done..... i guess.

but now the problem.... i got a error message. Thread exeption

System.IO.FileNotFoundExeption, You have no compatible version of Audiokinetic Wwise installed.

i have the newst version 2018.1.4.6807 installed. do i need to install an older version to get it work?

and if so, will the methode i mentioned above work...?

Or is there a way to only remove the vocals from the existing cdlc file?

    running windows 10 pro 1809

    song creator toolkit v2.9.0.0-b1c03443

    Wwise 2018.1.4.6807

  9. @@gwbuiter That's wrong but not entirely incorrect, you don't absolutely need cherub rock for CDLC but you DO need ONE official DLC to use the ID. Since all of the CDLC available in our database use Cherub Rock ID, it's easier for all user to own Cherub Rock and not have to do anything more but you can still spend time to change ID of the CDLC you download to the ID of the official DLC you own if you want to.

oke, got it. I'll give it a try. ;) thanks

  10. Hello everyone i'm new here at customsforge.  My name is Erwin ;)

Today i bought my first guitar, the Squier Bullet Strat.  Rocksmith seems to me the best way to learn playing the guitar. so i bought Rocksmith 2014 Remastered Edition including the real tone cable.

well, i run directly in some problems. i got completely distorted sounds in Rocksmith when playing the guitar. no clear sound at all. and it doesn't matter which pickup is selected.

i have tried several things, and followed other instructions to solve the problem, but with no luck.

ok. first of all.....this is my setup:

    Asus Z170 pro gaming

    Realtek ALC1150 (latest drivers installed)

    Intel Core i5-6500

    8GB Ram

    Nvidia Geforce GTX960

    Creative Gigaworks T20 Stereo speakerset.

    OS: Windows 10 Pro v1803 (build 17.134.8)

    Settings:

changed the Rocksmith.ini file, and set Win32ultralowlatencymode from 1 to 0. this change makes no difference at all.

    Latencybuffer=4

    Settings in WIndows:

set the audio output to 16bit, 48000Hz,

and i did it also for the Microphone Rocksmith USB Guitar adapter.

Volume for this device is 17. do i have to increase the volume..? or do i have to disable this?

and now the setting in Rocksmith.

    Mixer volume set to 70

    Audio engine settings=2

    Audio exclusivity on.

    Input gain override 10.0db

switched the real tone cable to another usb port....

tone and volume on the guitar set to max.

do i miss something here?  i hope anyone can help me to solve the problem.

    thanks.

i also tried this, but still no luck. :/

also when i change the ForceWDM value in rocksmith.ini from 0 to 1 as mentioned above, the game crashes immediately, and got back to Windows.

Now i have created this AudioDump.txt, and will send this to Ubisoft support.
