  1. @@Shaolindelt grats on the job so you could invest some of your knowledge here, that's good.

So now read this two tutorials again. but TL;DR for them would be: buy a cherub rock and install bypass dll

    http://customsforge.com/topic/33889-how-to-add-custom-songs-on-mac/

    http://customsforge.com/topic/39922-latest-rstoolkitwine-releases-10-27-2017/

    Another 'common' tutorial http://customsforge.com/topic/901-how-to-use-custom-dlcs-in-rs2014/
    Enjoy :)

  2. @@Zappa hmm, you've got a hard day or what? I'm not trying to insult you :P

I'm just hoping that mods\admins will read that at least they already should know about ignition enough to issue a v2 of it, but all we'll get is new forum engine pretty much soon...

    TL;DR for below
On a record hit go to record page button and scroll to comments, there you go! Also you could notice a report button there, beware it's actually working tool.

There was some topics on "ignition has poor way to comment so charters aka notetrackers will receive less feedback from regular users"
and so on. so the thing is you can't find how to leave a comment that's an issue. anyway if you click on any record at ignition page you'll see a form with description and album art. so if you click download it will redirect you to a download page but to enter to cdlc record page with ratings and all the info with comments you should click at "go to record page"
and you'll see a main-forum-styled page with all the info and DL link and music vids plus comments (there you could comment on your issues or just say how much you love this song ad appreciate other people's work etc)

Before comments section you'll find a button named "Roprt". Click that and write down a note that link is down.

At least charter got notified by a mod about link expiration and if you comment on a record you could get a upload from another user.
in worst case scenario another charter could post a copy of that cdlc if author is gone (so charter who posted will maintain that record)

If you've been to CF request list you know it's abandoned and better way to get song charted it
    a) should be very popular(we've covered almost all popular songs of classic rock and metal)
    b) charter should like that song too
    c) you've got your own friend who'll chart it for you ;)
    d) learn yourself and forget how to enjoy cdlc or your own production, but now your song got charted :)

  3. Hi, thanks for responding, leave a comment where?

This is a proof about human ignorance and current ignition issue at UX that leads to less or almost none feedback from leechers and even from those who'd like to comment that would require "Perception" above 6 and "Intelligence" about 4 to 5 points >___> (not relevant to those who already know how)

anyway it would be better to "report" cdlc record page so mods could mark one and contact author if required

  4. @@SFenton well is there more of that for cdlc that you can't have in rocksmith? I'mm certain I can write a single-file stems support for a cdlc i.e. as result you'll got missing audio record for selected arrangement you've selected. yes, you can't adjust separate parts of the mix in mixer but it will be great thing to have as a single file multritracks cdlc.

anther question is do RS team needs to up the prices and loose some of the artists that don't wanna stems to be used? I'm sure they've got master tracks for their needs for a recent DLC, but I may be wrong :)

what are you like the most when you play along stereo mix -the part you're playing yourself?

I'm perfectly fine just lowering the volume and playing on my own with little bit of help of the drummer and bassist I'm able to hear in the mix.
I should play those multitracks that avalible here (converted from RB mostly but still good)... C:

  5. @@raynebc any way I could understand this? I don't see that much of benefit from getting Bandfuse on any of the platforms... It's gone for good for me. DLC are dead for them so only way It could be ok to have it is when you've got it from day 1 and all dlc plus you're able to convert RS DLC into bandfuse (if you familiar with bandfuse more and you'd like to see that metro RockBand-like UI. Right?

  6. Well actually It would be cool to have "scorehero" copy for our cdlc and rating for each song we have here, but that's handled in game pretty well with score attack :)

I'd like to see that my cdlc were played by guys and how much points they've got playing it :)
another thing it could be really "personal tracker" so you could "progress" through song mastery with history a btit more detiled than just " max score an played times

    will check it out eventually
I know rocksmither can track it on the fly I can have notes played for rs control app using memory reader by hooking address with certain values. not sure if it's harder than parsing  profile with psarc's actually but you have to dig exe for that.

  7. I guess this is more like profile parser, since it has that "difficulty" thing in float plus tuning and stuff

not that hard to get scores from profile if it tracks(and it really track those) for you :)
c# is nice but it's just become a weapon of choice :P

Dealing with un-managed code\arrays in memory in C# isn't something you could comfortably do (unfortunately)
does some of the cozy app do similar? or CFSM has kinda that tools?

  8. @@BeentoGraceland to be honest I've got all "source" files in rs1 format that not released in new rocksmith

seth chapla even made it to cdlc for rs2014 (jules) but then we change our policy related to this kind of things (deny those submissions to be on a safe side). we've actually got it in our database listed >___>

Well I guess we're free to chart that for our self and
if you feel convenient... post link at forum to external site where you could possibly get it or post a video(better it to be private one on  youtube) with a song, like this for a example:

    sorry about that

  9. @@firekorn, sure thing I can easily (or with a bit of hassle) add option at config screen to change this preference - change amount of notes to skip (which initially based on RS2014 lessons charts and surely evolve through years). can I have example files for this bug please?

Actually toolkit's doing it's black magic :D Thing is... sometimes you need no actual control over certain things ( recall those horrible interfaces with huge screen of config parameters :D ) plus EOF already suffering from huge amount of parameters to change.

Toolkit's goal should be 1:1 conversion of input data to output file. Currently all testing in on users shoulders since we have no tests for generators.
I have intention but have no time\skill to perform this coverage thing along with documentations stuff. sorry about that.

I'd like to hear from raynebc about this as well. still imo that this is toolkit part of a job. (sng generator should care about where to place things by schema)

  10. @@Rockfirstlast for me it's clearly misinterpretation of sequence of notes since it should be per chord I guess, but those chords has 12 notes in row so I could just try to fix this for chords probably, so it would be a bit right than it's now

I don't feel right doing per ignore statues exception for numbering, since we can actually see those in game it's just doesn't score.

  11. well we actually write that kind of data and it's fixed to some point so it won't write it to each one note'chord > because it will clutter the screen it should trigger about every 12 or so notes iirc not sure if you've undercovered a bug here or is it same link next bug? hmm
