  1. Hi, Noticed some songs ODLC are being shown with wrong Tuning. For example, they show as Eb Drop Db in CFSM but are Eb Standard in RS2014. It happened with 1.4.2.8 and 1.2.4.9, probably before as well. Yes I have made a clean install.
  2. Some improvement but I still have issues. Deleted everything and installed clean. 3. When I open CFSM the list is sorted by Artist and the arrow is in the Artist Column. go to last song click any other song Sorting Resets, Sorting Arrow is no longer in any column. 4. If I Filter items, I can move around without problems. When I Click a Column to sort, there is no Sorting Arrow in the column.
  3. Try this one: Search for a band sort by album click last song in the list click any other song search resets I noticed it doesnt trigger a SaveSettingsToFile anymore but still Resets Search.
  4. 1. filter by Anything sort by anything go to last song using mouse click on any other song or keyboard use up arrow Song Order changes from Artist1 Song1 Artist1 Song2 Artist1 Song3 Artist1 Song4 to Artist1 Song3 Artist1 Song4 Artist1 Song1 Artist1 Song2 again, Artist1 Song1 Artist1 Song2 Artist1 Song3 Artist1 Song4 etc.
  5. 2. I played with it some more and this might be a more general case. Open CFSM. Sort songs by artist, Title, Album, etc. highlight last song in the list click on Any other song. Sorting resets and causes a SaveSettingsToFile. [2017/11/17 18:17:01]: Saved File: appSettings.xml [2017/11/17 18:17:01]: Saved File: dgvSongsMaster.xml It is issue #2 but it also resets sorting. It also shows it happens with mouse and any song. Not sure if the save is what causes the sorting to be reset. If it is, it is an easy fix.
  6. 2 cases: 1. filter by tuning sort by artist go to last entry using keyboard use up arrow sorting changes it should not change, just move to the previous song. (just got an "Unhandled exception error" while trying this.) Exception Text is at bottom. 2. sort by any column go to last entry using keyboard use up arrow triggers 2 events: [2017/11/16 12:11:49]: Saved File: appSettings.xml [2017/11/16 12:11:49]: Saved File: dgvSongsMaster.xml why? ************** Exception Text ************** System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at CustomsForgeSongManager.UControls.SongManager.dgvSongsMaster_Sorted(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.DataGridView.OnSorted(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.DataGridView.SortInternal(IComparer comparer, DataGridViewColumn dataGridViewColumn, ListSortDirection direction) at System.Windows.Forms.DataGridView.Sort(DataGridViewColumn dataGridViewColumn, ListSortDirection direction) at DataGridViewTools.DataGridViewAutoFilterColumnHeaderCell.SortByColumn() at DataGridViewTools.DataGridViewAutoFilterColumnHeaderCell.OnMouseDown(DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewCell.OnMouseDownInternal(DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.DataGridView.OnCellMouseDown(DataGridViewCellMouseEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.DataGridView.OnMouseDown(MouseEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseDown(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.DataGridView.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) )
  7. After every update, I need to reselect my columns. Why cant we keep the selected columns after updates? Why are Song Manager Tab columns different from the Duplicates Tab columns? If the information is important in Song Manager Tab it must be important in the Duplicates Tab.

    1.4.1.7 Scanning

Quick Rescan is working. I think if there "fewer chances of accidental changes" by using the buttons, then there should be used in the Song Manager tab as well. I think the interface should be the same in both tabs.
  9. Go to Duplicates Tab, Disable (or Enable) a Song. Go to Song Manager Tab, COMPLETE RESCAN. Why not just do a Quick Rescan? Why in the Duplicates Tab I cant right click songs and access the menu as in the Song Manager Tab?
  10. 1.4.1.1 release link downloads 1.4.0.1 Beta. Tried 1.4.1.3 Beta but it scans every file for everything. Why does the Beta FORCEFULLY downloads the newest Beta? Why not let the user decide what version to install in their PC? Betas tend to have problems (that is why they are Betas) so if the newest one doesnt work, forcing its installation breaks everything. A page where we can download ALL previous versions would make life easier for everyone. I just need a stable release.
  11. Hi, Installed CFSM 1.4.1.1 Beta. Run it and it asked to replace D3DX9_42.dll. After replacing it, RS2014 (not Remastered) stopped working. Run it, nothing happens. I had made a backup before replacing it so I restored it and RS2014 works again. What version is the D3DX9_42.dll for? I have version RS2014 v165.260519 (v7) installed. I was wondering if there is a newer patch I am missing, the file is for an older version or the file is for Remastered.
  12. 1.4.0.1 seems to be working ok for me. Just a question. I "Repaired" a song with CFSM (not exactly sure what version but at least 1.3.3.5+) but when I try to change the DD RS2014 crashes! Apologies if this question should be somewhere else. Not sure where though.
  13. Can't attach file only URL. Any way of attaching a file that I am missing?
  14. Sorry, I read there was a 1.4.0.1 in the Release notes of 1.3.3.8 Uninstalled it, installed 1.4.0.0, same DataGridView error. Uninstalled it, tried to install 1.3.3.8, same DataGridView error. Uninstalled 1.3.3.8, deleted docs\CSFM and program files\CSFM folders. Installed 1.3.3.8, start, auto scan, Settings, enabled Song Packs, auto scan, works. For me upgrading from 1.3.3.8 to 1.4.0.0 breaks it. Can I send you the screenshot of the error?
  15. DataGridView error (which you are aware of). Can't download 1.4.0.1 as Download Link points to 1.4.0.0.
  16. installed 1.3.3.6 Start, auto scanned songs Then asked for RS directory Auto scanned again. Song RS1 CP and RS2014 BS not searchable Settings, checked Include RS1 CP and Include RS2014 BS. Save, auto scan. Pack Songs are searchable. 4 scans after install to be able to search Pack Songs. Maybe avoid using Auto Scans?
  17. Didn't mean to sound demanding. Appreciate what you do!
  18. Installed 1.3.3.5 Started, asks for RS folder (should remember previous setting, not ask after every update). Auto scanned all songs. Pack Songs not included after Auto Scan. Enabled 3x "Include" Settings (should remember previous setting, not reset after every update). Click Song Manager, Auto Scan (again). Pack Songs searchable. Close, open, Pack Songs searchable. Getting there, I would just like to see Settings being kept between updates.
  19. It seems the Full Scan is not saving the Pack Songs. Thanks for the quick support.
  20. Installed 1.3.3.2 Asked for RS folder (seems to do this after every update now) when starting. "Include RS1 Compatibility Pack" and "Include RS2014 Base Songs" Settings are unchecked after update. Can we keep previous settings after upgrade? Pack Songs are not searchable. Scan->Full Songs are searchable. Restart, songs are NOT searchable.
  21. Sorry, that wasn't very clear. I meant the songs in the Packs are no longer searchable. They should be if: Include RS1 Compatibility Pack Include RS2014 Base Songs are checked in Settings. Folder problems were solved for me after deleting both CSFM folders in RS Directory and Documents Directory.
  22. Deleted CSFM directory from RS folder. Deleted CSFM folder from Documents Installed 1.3.3.0 It started ok. Seems to be working after a couple of restarts. I Enabled RS1 CP and R2014 Base Songs, had to do a Scan Quick. Songs appeared but after restart the songs were gone. Scan->Full, songs are there. Restart, Pack songs are gone!
  23. Installed 1.3.2.9. Run it, Exception(UnauthorizedAccessException): Access to the path 'C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\CFSM\SongPacks\original\cache.psarc.org' is denied. Deleted original folder. Run it, Exception(DirectoryNotFoundException): Could not find a part of the path 'xxxxx\cdlc_quarantined'. Create the directory cdlc_quarantined. Run it, Exception(UnauthorizedAccessException): Access to the path 'C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\CFSM\SongPacks\original\cache.psarc.org' is denied. Delete original folder again. Run it, it started. Song pack songs missing, Scan->Full. Song pack songs ok. Closed, open again. Exception(DirectoryNotFoundException): Could not find a part of the path 'xxxxx\cfsm\archives' Back to folders problem.
  24. Glad to help! Tried 1.3.2.6. Now I get a Pop Up (it used to be a log entry) "Could not find a part of the path 'xxxxxxxxxxxx\csfm\archives'. CSFM will now shut down." At least it is not trying to reinstall itself. I have added a couple more posts/comments that might help (or confuse) you. Restarted, back to log entry folder error. Created folders manually, back to Access Denied error.
  25. Uninstalled CSFM from Add Remove Programs. Deleted C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\CFSM folder. Installed 1.3.2.5. Complains about missing folders but now it runs the installer every time I try to open the program and it crashes because of the missing folders. Manually created folders, complains about Access Denied C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\CFSM\SongPacks\original\files. Deleted C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\CFSM\SongPacks\original\ folder. Started CSFM and it starts but Installer as well. It seems CSFM doesn't realize the installed version is the same as the new version and tries to install it again and again and again. It is a loop so I cant run it anymore!
