  1. @@GetTheLedOut I'm done with the bass, so whenever you're ready, I'm good to go. ;)
  2. No need to tell me. I am with you on that but having isolated tracks is something else and can be quite convenient. :D
  3. @ I never mentioned this, but you could get isolated tracks + transcriptions for Stratus from Jammit: http://www.jammit.com/artist/billy-cobham Now that you're almost done it's probably pointless and too costly for you but I just wanted you to know about it.
  4. I can send you the GP file as soon as it's complete (guitars + bass).
  5. Yep, they are fast but actually not that difficult to play. Apart from a few phrases I can play this quite decently tbh. :D Thanks for the feedback. I'll release it later today.
  6. Anyone tried the guitar part on the Taste song yet? I'd like to post it today if possible. I think it's mostly good to go but I wanted a second opinion on the tab and tones to make sure.
  7. I'll do the mixing, don't worry. I've done it before and it's not difficult at all. The only issue I can see here is the fact that there's one main stereo guitar track and then there's a secondary overdub track that contains some overdubbed guitar parts as well, the most significant being the rhythm backing during the outro solo. I think the multitracks would only work really well with a lead arrangement that sticks to that main guitar track. For every other kind of combo arrangement one would have to manually cut parts of the track to get rid of the parts your going to play. Send me the gpx when you're done and I'll copy in the bass and take a look at the arrangements to see how they could work with the multitracks.
  8. No worries. I hadn't even started on it. It was just a preliminary plan. I have enough other prospective choices. Also, I promised LaceyB to make a disco pack first. ;)
  9. @@GetTheLedOut I'm almost done with the bass transcription for "Sea And Sand". How far along are you? Do we wanna make this a multitrack custom? Would be cool. :)
  10. Great stuff. I actually planned to do "Tears Of A Clown" as part of a Miracles 3-pack but I'll have to find a replacement now. I'll try to test these out soon.
  11. Thankfully, English is quite an easy language to learn, at least in comparison to other languages. I've learnt French and Russian in school as well but I wouldn't be able to write or even talk fluently in any of those languages. I can read and understand them at a basic level but that's about it. The only language I have an advanced level in is English and that's because it's so omni present in every medium and just by reading and listening to it, I've radically improved my vocabulary and grammar skills. My conversational skills are definitely lacking though because I rarely talk in English. Regarding higher education: University in Austria is mostly free (at least for now) but the state isn't providing enough money to counter balance the university's upkeep and pay for the professors which is becoming increasingly problematic. Educational standard is still relatively high, I'd say, but the university of Vienna isn't ranked very high internationally. Other institutes of higher education usually have fees but they are not extremely high and they have a stricter curriculum, trying to educate you for specific job purposes. They are a good option if you know exactly what you want to do and can afford it but you definitely need to do it full time and you won't have as much options later on.
  12. @ I just need someone to test the guitar part, not transcribe it. I used my Taste songbook to get the guitar tab and the transcription was extremely accurate although I still had to make quite a few corrections to get the rhythm on some parts right. @@manchot66 A more accurate translation for drums would be "Schlagzeug"; "Schlaginstrumente" would mean something like percussion or percussive instruments. :D
  13. Really good playthrough. Definitely better than my first tries but at least I have something to work on. :D
  14. It tells me the video is private, so I can't watch it. Anyway, thanks for the feedback. Now all I need is someone who can tackle the guitar part. @ maybe?
  15. Yeah, like I said, it's pretty crazy. It's mostly because of the high speed but also because of the improvisational nature. Still, McCracken (his actual name :D) was a great bass player. This shit isn't easy to improvise either, especially because you have to keep going in a steady tempo without any breaks and be on point whenever necessary.
  16. I could transcribe the bass for the Falco version. I wanted to release some Falco for a long time (I mean he's pretty much the most famous austrian musician of the 20th century) but without any good guitar tabs I didn't feel comfortable releasing anything. It will take a while because I promised to do some other transcriptions first and I have to finish Tubular Bells as well.
  17. Will you be making the complete custom yourself? If so, do you already have access to the guitar tabs I've sent to @@Bavarezkrd and @@GetTheLedOut? Will you need my help with the bass? If so, it might be a long time off before I can get to it. Not much time atm. :(
  18. Hey guys, I need some testing on Taste - It's Happened Before, It'll Happen Again (L,B,V). This isn't an easy one though, so don't go hurt yourself. :D And you Jerry, stay away from this one until your healed up or I guarantee you'll worsen your condition. This is a fucking difficult bass line, a jazzy walking bass line but not like a walk in the park, rather a walk through a minefield.
  19. I have others but that's the only one from Quadrophenia. I'll upload them and send you the link.
  20. This is probably from the same source but I have the mogg which includes all the isolated tracks, so you can mix it any way you want. To work with totally isolated tracks is difficult without a drum track to help with the timing.
  21. @@GetTheLedOut I have multitracks for "Sea And Sand" if you want them. Totally isolated guitar and bass tracks, so you can hear what's going on. :D
  22. Maybe try an Octave pedal and put the synth rack in as well. That's all I can think about right now but I'll have to make an synth tone eventually (because of this), so let me know what you figure out. :D
  23. I can take a look at the bass parts in the Graveyard songs when I find the time but it could be a while before I can even start on that. I'm really swamped atm.
