My finger is so sore... hope I'm not getting a blister.

You sir have bested me along with batman. That constant F, F# has given me blisters on my fret fingers for the first time ever since moving to flat wound strings. Did I mention the pain?.... Cramps first, then blisters. This song goes in my hall of fame of songs I never want to play again along side with Joan Jett - Bad Reputation

  2. This one's deceptively tiring on the fingers...

A genuine sight read and I'm amazed I got this score tbh!  I think I got very lucky again with a couple of those fills....

Batman theme is tiring on the fret hand for me too. Half way through the 2nd or 3rd try I feel like I am not going to be able to finish. As for DT, you can do it!! 100%

  3. I Had to play the Batman theme.  Do I get bonus points for scaling the side of a building while playing it?

I had assumed the Dream Theater song would be absurdly difficult, but I think that even a mere mortal like me can play this one, with a little practice.

This is exactly why I picked this song. Int should master it and beginners will have a lot of fun with it. I just had no idea Petrucci was as tame a Myung was on this song.

    Lead Path:

Beginner:         The Ventures - Batman Theme     (3) - chosen as a Tribute to late Adam West :(

Intermediate:   Dream Theater - Burning My Soul  (4)  - chosen by @@Tonedef

Advanced:       The Moody Blues - The Story in Your Eyes (6)  chosen by @@sushicat2112

MasterClass:     Amamiya Sora - Skyreach  (9) chosen by @@earth2mars

I didn't even look at lead. Petrucci is pretty tame here too. I never thought I would see Dream Theater as intermediate.

  5. Quite a jump from beg to int.... Going to try some Fripples hitting the 9th fret on the string formally known as E and then 12th on the sting formally known as D really stretches me which would be so bad if I wasn't already dazed from working up the fret board:) Here is my score in all of its glory.

  6. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4zebKHkDZhIaTlNYlRJR0FlZHM/view?usp=sharing (mc bass 97,98). Im having major issues with the note recognition during the solo where it stops recognizing notes and its not even a hard part just tremelo picking on third fret and only for like two seconds but it completly ruins mu score. There are a couple of songs i have played before with the same issue and always at the same place every time i play it and changing basses doesn't affect it. Is it something to do with my computer being crap (which it is) or me?

Not saying it is you, but if it happens in the same spot every time it is likely bad not recognition. I would calibrate and play a song like bad reputation over and over..... until you see it hitting perfect from what you see on the screen. Default is 50, Mine is set at 15 now. Go to 0 and 240 and see the difference a few milliseconds can throw you off.

  7. You know that feeling when the song ends and you see its not 100% and you wonder what you missed. Yeah, I do...

So then I decide to pick up a guitar, it has been about a year now. Its is half the weight and it feels like it should be a kids guitar because the 1st fret on a guitar is at the place a 5th fret is on a bass. It felt very odd to say the least.
