wow !!! nice idea !!! but do you think it would be good ? i think it would be hard and impossible to play 42 minutes Dream Theater songs ! i like the song The Glass Prison from this album, can you do this song alone plz ? if not it would be ok too.
do you need help in something ? can i help you somehow ?
I was working on The Glass Prison :D but i'm gonna do separate songs from Six Degrees. I need help with tabs and all that stuff

If a specific song doesn't start, is because that song have an issue. It happened to me with Constant Motion (tried first time and didn't work, and i realized that the vocals were the problem so i removed them and the song worked). If it is someone else's CDLC, advise the charter or do it by yourself

@@Nacholede You should probably just have each as a separate song
EDIT: Don't forget about bass please ;)
Just like the CD. And hell no! i'm gonna put the bass arrangements in each separate song :D
So... you are going to separate them?
Still thinkin on it...besides i don't know how i join all the songs in 1. And it's gonna be a really heavy .psarc file. Anyway i need help for this one, all the help i can get
Like I said, I'm really against putting them all together, seems like a really bad idea and probably more work.
I would be willing to help do some of the songs if I find the time. I'll start looking for good tabs tomorrow.
Great, thanks a lot :D

ok guys, i did some cool CDLC from Dream Theater, but i'm planning to something really amazing.
Yeah, Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence. I want to do the whole song so i'm gonna see if i can sync the tabs and do the stuff, i hope you guys can help me with tips or anything (i had the idea to do join all songs in one an do the 42 minutes audio but i though that it was really insane, and also to put all tabs in one)
That's all, help me on this one please!

This is what i do:
- Find a good GP tab
- Edit the song that i want to chart using Audacity (to add leading silence)
- Sync the tab with the song in GPA
- Import everything to EoF
- Edit the arrangements: Transporting solos, adding tone changes, phrases, sections, etc
- Generate the .wem files with Wwise
- Use the toolkit to chart the song and generate the CDLC
- Test the CDLC, if something is wrong or for me is not cool, i change the things and generate again
- Upload it to Customsforge
And it's working well, did some 7-string songs and 5 or 6-string bass and other cool CDLC
I also use Ultrastar for Lyrics

Seleccionas y apretas ALT + UP.
No funciona con las notas de la cuerda mas grave, asi que es inutil D:

I'll add it to the to do list about seeing if the user can choose which string to drop.
Great :D

Actually, a more convenient way would be for EoF to drop the highest string, instead of the lowest string, and set the tuning accordingly. Transposing in GP is not always without errors.
That's what i want D: but well...nothing we can do

I had an issue transporting a GPA or GP tab (Korn - Prey For Me). I did very well the sync but when i transport the GPA or GP file, i got a lot of missing notes (The main riff), there's any way to prevent this?
-
EOF can't import GPX (Guitar Pro 6 and newer) files, you'd need to save it in GP5 or older format. Shrubbery posted a build of Tux Guitar that supports importing GPX format here:http://customsforge.com/topic/2235-guitar-pro-5/?do=findComment&comment=11971With it, you should be able to open the GPX file and save it in GP5 format. Then edit the XML file to refer to the GP5 file instead of the GPX file and EOF should be able to import it.
It worked! thanks a lot :D

Check if there are spaces in front of artist or songbook name.
The gpax and the folder with the song and the tab is there, but no .xml, and stucks like this http://i59.tinypic.com/2ez4dh2.jpgBesides just the .gpax file, it should also be exporting a folder containing the audio, Guitar Pro file and the XML files. If not, it wouldn't seem the GPA project was exported the right way.
That was the problem, but anyway i can't import the .xml to the EoF because it says "File Format Version Not Supported"

I had an issue with the GPA. The program stucks when i'm trying to export a song (because the song has GPX tablature and i can't put it in EoF). But when i go to the directory where i exported the song, i see the GPAX file and the audio/tablature but no .xml file, any idea why this happens?

Well, i like this album 'cause it got some combinations: Heavy songs (Don't Turn Your Back or Kingmaker), or more hard rock (Forget To Remember, or some Country (The Blackest Crow), and some pop rock (Super Collider), the other songs are to fill the album, and i didn't pay too much attention to them. Obviously, this is not like Endgame or United Abominations, and it isn't Thrash Metal, simply a Hard Rock album with some genres combinations. I like it, not toooooo much but i like it n.n
-
Take your time! I hope you can do more Super Collider songs :D

ok the notes are cool and the sync is ok, you need a custom tone and that's it!
