Overall this week might be easier than most weeks

Intermediate song might be too easy (compared to last week) since its just a 4 chord progression and campfire chords but it is slighlty fast.

I wasnt sure which bass path was harder taio or marshall they seemed the same difficulty to me but i think taio is better preperation for the masterclass song as its also octaves so i left it like that

My chemical romance i initially had as intermediate but since i could only get around 96 i left it at low advanced

anyways lemme know ratings to balance and if its too easy ill look for a replacement song
 

Digging the DJO addition, my daughter got me into them a few years ago.

Just saw My Chemical Romance at Dodger's stadium in July, Great show, we got tickets for next year at the Hollywood Bowl.

Oh boy! My Gibs Sg (Eb guitar ) needs new strings and a fretjob urgently - she was crying the whole song.... a cool one i must say also to play.
For tge diff i´d go straight (5) fast switches, not the easiest rhyth... you master that 99+, you move uo to adv

 

 

 

sunday octaves practice, an i did badly. (6) cool song and good practice

 

 

 

ph... those octave slides are really killing my score (cause i play them badly, not because of the chart)

 

 

 

another THANK GOD, HERE COMES THE SOLO moment.... cool mc song. style of playing foreign to me, as common in adv. country music. (8)

Good easy song. I would say 2.

  

Taio Cruz - Break Your Heart.

Seems like nothing hard but chords. I thought the chart is desynchronized with the track at first. But then I heard how the vocals going and everything became clear.

Bass pattern is not hard but practise required.

Rhythm's intro part is completely ruined. Wide chord is wide... ^___________^

Lead's slides made me angry more than over else.

Bass. There's nothing hard I think.

Ah very cool!  I also remember listening to him a couple years ago, he had a song with a really nice bassline that reminded me of tame impala. But I can't find it/ havent listened to it in ages.
As @ drand  pointed out, he is one of the cast members of stranger things. Her comment of last week may have helped me from deciding between the begginer songs I had in mind 😛 

Havent watched the show yet but ive heard lots of positive things about it and i do like the Map/chapter in Dead by daylight that they made from them (although its one of the least balanced maps imo) If i recall correctly, the other curly haired kid (finn?) also has a band. Perhaps if theres a well done cdlc of them we can play for halloween or sometime in the future.

I have yet to see mcr live but hopefully one day I do. Glad to hear you enjoyed the show and enough to get tickets to see them again! Always good when bands do good live shows.

yea as @ Vodka  mentioned taio one isnt too hard as there isnt many sections to it. Take the highway has only one hardish part towards the end, it does have more notes and might be harder stamina wise but i do feel like it might be more familiar so thats why i put it in the intermediate. If intermediate players could give both a shot thatd be great (to determine which one is harder/for the class).

Great song this long but good takes some concentration to keep that riff going

I maybe rated this too high when added I probably struggled with octaves then I am better at them now so find this easy once the pattern is learnt
