Well unexpectedly it is saturday. And I didn't has a time to practice more this week. And that's sad. Sorry but there's no Int Lead of mine this time (again)...

It doesnt seem to be that hard but the fhps do seem a bit odd to me and makes me overthink/messup alot

Also didn't see @ drand  post this week noticed shes been playing less since 3dg cover hopefully all is good .

Crazy week lifewise so didn't get playing as much as I wanted to. Gonna just drop the screenshots here, bit rushed for time!

You've got me! Of course this result is terrible. Rolls part is too fast for me. And some of solo parts too hard for an hour practice time.

Aw thank you, it’s nothing crazy I just started a new job and my lease is almost up so I am on the hunt for a place to live all month and beyond. I have been playing the acoustic when I can but I am shook @ Vodka  is leaving me in the dust!! 🤣🤣 awesome progress 👏🏻

By the way, I'm the only contender in Intermediate Bass, right? I'm wondering what the lowest score is I could get away with 😛 

On the topic of fast notes: I want to try the Alternate Rythm path of https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/60009, but Rocksmith wants me to tune six strings. How can I do that? Or should I just skip the RS tuner and do it myself? 

Edit: just remembered there's a tuner in the main menu, problem solved!

Yep i would skip or if you want, hold down the 5th fret or 4th fret (its one of those i always get confused lol) of the highest string of your 5 string bass that way it wont bug you to retune it every time you do a 5 string path in that tunning. 

as for your previous comment of being the only one in intermediate xP:

@ jasmith85  is also intermediate bass as of last week, he plays emulated bass (but hopefully he should give you some competition in the weeks) 

there's also @ drand  😛 maybe she'll give you some competition when she's free. Btw congrats on the new job and wish you luck on finding an affordable spot that you like!

Good point, I forgot about tuning to the bass itself! Thanks! Edit: it's the 5th fret.

 I tend to not do bass because you have to recalibrate not gonna lie

It's the bloody string switching, I'm telling you 😛

For comparison, this song (ODLC) should objectively be harder than Blockbuster, but I just got 91% on the first try because I can just play fast on one string for the most part:

Probably because intermediate is more familiar/ we are used to playing powerchords.
There is only like 2/3 sections for begginer song

the Em section which looks harder than it is. You can leave your first finger on the 1 all the time and just move ring and middle finger down a string and then off and repeat.

the johnny be goode section. I personally use my 1 2  fingers on the normal power chord and 1 4 on the stretch. kinda like if you played every breathe you take but all on the same string. In the the official johnny be good they do use fingers 1 3 and 1 4 though. But i personally cramp when i do that/ feel like i have to stretch pinky more than i need to.

Not a crazy score but this is what i manged playing just now

Edit: ah, it picked up the COB song instead. Somehow it doesn't feel like cheating to use Children of Bodom to fake a good score for Beginner Bass 😛

Well glad you gave it another shot! /m/ thats the spirit 🙂 
Btw looks like the automatic scoring has issues detecting your images with the service you are uploading the images to. Any chance you can upload via steam or another one to see if thats the issue? I have added your scores manually for this weeks but just incase for the future.
