i had same issue, I finally uploaded a mp3 to my google drive and shared to anyone with a link.  We would all like to hear your version.

Hmm odd, I have never had any issues with soundcloud. But then again ive only posted original works or remixes (reimagined works/ usually only using only like the vocals or drums) . What exactly does it say when you upload it?

Does your cover contain the original audio file? thats the only thing i can think off. Perhaps the algorithm is detecting that its the beatless since you are using it as a base. If this is the case my guess is youll also have similar issues on yt . Just share via google link drive like robolechuga mentioned. There you wont have to deal with copyrights lol.

@ drand  there are a zillion ways to share your work, won´t let you get away like that 😉

2 working ones are

Take a picture of your choice and create a vid with your mp3 and upload to youtube (my way)

Just upload the damn mp3 to any cloud - your google drive, dropbox, mediafire, whatever and simply share the link

In case you should still fail - send me the damn file to rodman,at.the.championship.com and i´ll be happy to present you the link to post (be my guest every week)

funnily enough i couldn't participate because i was actually in Africa, and it rained 😂

and if i'd seen you were in London i'd have pointed you towards the best music spots/joined you for a beer as I was back for the first time in months myself at the same time

still can't participate for the forseeable future as i'm now in Majorca, without my van/guitar this time, attempting to emigrate
VERY much missing my guitar right now, but loving the new theory upgrades and motivation to perform, starting to remind me of the old guitar magazines i used to buy

fortunately i have a bank of pre-recorded videos i made while travelling in above-mentioned van for the past year...
sent you one to get the ball rolling/get out of my personal comfort zone

Man - that was a blast. Cool song, lazily sung by the guys back then i must say.....
I followed the original, though had to pepper it a bit.

Created a BG track with bongos and that woodstickthings... claves, yes.
The rest is me - bass, guitars and... yeah of course..... vocalS

OK. Something better. I almost done the bridge in RR at 100% speed. But still can't play it "on the go". Unfortunately lead part is on vocation this week. There's no time left for it. 😪 

I changed the way I tried to play the bridge. I started it with pinky finger and this little guy is very slow. SO I decided to try next faster brother. The one that ring. So I play the beginning of the part this ring finger and the move my hands left. The other "wider" part I play with pinkie finger as expected I guess.

Also thanks! A long time ago I bought a lot of DLCs on sale but then they stopped giving them and I didn't follow it anymore. And here's a bomb wow!

That was a good run!

After that attempt I decided to go for it and try Master Mode 🫣 I got lost in the riff a few times, but it's repetitive enough that I managed to catch it again and didn't get X 😀

oops! thought I had it this time. I made it public instead of private now, otherwise i’ll try to post it on youtube but for me it shows fine on my phone and pc so please let me know

Hell yeah!!!!!! Well played!!!!
What a nice interpretation. The arpeggios give an almost psychodelic feel, the well adjusted solo tone and the relaxed riff.

Thanks! Definitely a good time putting my own feel on the track but there was some pain... that was from trying to record some vocals lol my performance in the Rock Band games and boozy karaoke didn't prepare me for this. It's overwhelming how many things go into making music but it's so much fun, and it doesn't have to be all that good as long as you feel it and I love that 🙂 of course I would love to be as good as you someday so I appreciate the push to try new things

Hah! Yeah - a lot lot of things or sometimes just one strumming track....
For me it´s so cool to follow the masters and uncover how songs have been structured and arranged while covering them.
For the vocals - Humiliating, sad, hopeless, annoying, bitter - that are my feelings about my vocal performances. Still not giving up on those cause it makes a song always more enjoyable (for me) when someone is singing and i remember back then 3-4 years ... it was getting better, never good, no way, maybe a step under okish. Well as i try to learn easy versions of songs to play from my head for that it´s even a bit mandatory to sing along.
Really good arrangement you did! Full cover. Comeon - give is some vocals also next time.

yeah i really liked the way you processed the guitars, especially on the arps. It also made me realize that the arps in the song sound a bit similar to metallicas intro in the day that never comes. I don't really listen to metallica or the beatles but that is one of the few metalica songs I enjoy (i think its just 2 frets higher). Would have loved to hear the vocals more forward in the mix but it does give the song more of a relaxed vibe the way you did it.  Will be interesting to see in future covers if you put a more prevalant vocal layers or not. Great job for giving your own take in such short time, learning how to record in a daw by yourself and being able to upload to sc!

Alright then here it is with some vocals! let's call it a rough draft lol not super happy with it but can't make it much better right now...let's just say I ain't quitting my day job

I did the last verse in English but most of it is lyrics from the cover I grew up with by Jose Alberto. I didn't know it was originally a Beatles song for a long time, I don't really listen to them like that either but it's like eating vegetables, probably should cause it's good for ya

I do wish I did a better job modulating the arpeggios and of course the timing but that's a wrap, thanks for the feedback 🙂
