Yay, new week! shall be a cool one.

Hard on the Int side Rhy and Lead but it´s repetetive so i felt it still being a good idea to have it there.

All E-Std. and great bass tracks i think.

I am actually on a long bike-trip, so winners are not final and will be updated.

@ Rodman  I think @ robolechuga  was at 100%'s Lead faster and even with more scores in SA.

I would stay in beginner as I feel I'm not ready yeat. Particularly because "Overdrive" beat me but not vice versa

@ Vodka  thanks for your kind words, my scores at the beginner levels are just for fun and to learn, since I am in the advanced lead group chasing Cacahuate, Mikson and PedroPMF constantly - which only makes me continue to practice more diligently.  I believe that your 100% put you on top for the week.  Congrats and see you in the advanced lead level soon, I am sure.

Some Bass Scores to get us rollin' this week.  Almost every time I play bass, I get sidetracked by the Silk Sonic selections, such great bass lines.  Anyways, missed one note on Lazarus, and on Danger Calling, may have to revisit on fresh fingers.   Was glad to fake my way through Ichizu, had to be so close to a 3rd strike.

@ Rodman  How did you generate winners list when the leaderboard sheet from last week is almost empty? What happened with OCR, it's not working again?

Had to put in some RR time this morning.  The main misses are between A and E string on the main riff. Hopefully I can smooth out another percent of two through the week.  I dig the challenge, probably would have not put forth the effort on a song like this if it were not for the championship.

so im probably guilty of that? on friday? i noticed there were no scores for calvin in the excell sheet cause it was selected as lead path (probably at one point of changing numbers around it got changed to rhythm path even though theres no rhythm). so i deleted week 565 to recreate it with the proper path....and by doing so i also had to delete rodmans submissions cause he had already filled the table out for the new week. I was planning to refill the table  so he wouldnt have to after i finished fixing my week but i also noticed it wasnt detecting the previous scores only the new scores. soo i left in hopes itd do it but it didnt..
 

First tries of songs of the week. Just to know the enemies 😄

Lazarus. Rhythm - nothing special. At least if detection works fine 🙂 Lead - can be treaky with slides and last part.

 

Ichizu. Hard and doesn't clear how to play it. Fortunately, I was not promoted to InterLead.

 

Danger Calling. More interesting to play than the previous track. Even though it's hard too.

  

Crash 'n burn. Hard 'n long.

Interesting beginner song, covers a few techniques.  Need to run this again, I think I can do better.

A beginner got to be at leas a 5. or am I extra suckage tonight

Tried to play the full chord more often that run.  Better score, sounded worse, I think...

 i was also kinda surprised for the lead path to be placed in beginner and interested in his thought process.

it has slides, bends, octaves ( i dont really find them to be an intermediate skill but i still find it odd cause he said octaves were and yet this is beginner..maybe its cause they dont move that much and they arent that many? which is valid), quite a bit of fret movement, high fret numbers (reaches up to 19 or 17..) ,string skipping, quite fast tremolo picked (a begginer could lose lots of points here cause its not tabbed as a tremolo sustain like in knights of cydonia forexample) has probably like 4 or 5 sections to learn and then they repeat.

my guess is the low rating is cause of the speed? its kinda slow.

i would give it a 4 (although if it were tabbed more to whats actually played itd probably be quite a bit higher)

But im always happy with lower ratings xD

it is also pretty hard to find a good repetive beginner lead path. imo.

also not many people stay in beginner...they either move up quick or dont return..  not sure how many days /weeks/months are we considering a beginner but i guess thats subjective aswell?

wonder how long @ Vodka  youve been playing? cause i remember you mentioned you used to play here in the championship and your scores for other classes are pretty high.

Yes you're right I was here lots of years ago. But then my success was broken by my little copy called my son and unfortunately I had to take a break off guitar. Now I have more late night time and can return. As I remember those days I was intermediate lead and advanced rhyhtm. I can't say I was good on the positions I held but I wanna strike back and evolve my skills. I really missed Rocksmith this years and this Championship and the participants too.
