completely messed up the end

 

 

 

that end needs a little love, else it´s ok

 

 

 

This is after practicing a lot, but still can't reach the 90s... 

To be honest, I had always been reluctant to play songs longer than 5 minutes and this is not my type of song, but all the riffs are very cool to play.

Not extremely difficult, but it is still hard for me to get it perfect... As I read somewhere "The Championship is good for me"!!! 🤩

First tries this week:

I've always loved the synchronization of the "beating like a hammerrrrr...beating like a hammeerrrrrrrrr" with the rhythm in this song. Great band, their most recent album was killer:

This one is going to be tough for that one repeated riff with the little slide. Good Adv challenge:

What a wild ride...no letup anywhere on this one. Maiden's best album IMO:

 

 

Improvement

I gave up on the Whitesnake song after a couple of hours, it's just a little too difficult for now

Now I'm trying to learn the Madness song on bass instead

A little bit late but instead of going to bed, my body asked me a treat... so here I am! 🤟🎶

 

Ahh.... after struggling with this song in the guitar, playing this in bass seems so easy...

Definitely, this song is fun to play! 

i managed to bump up my score on beginner lead and rhythm  and I had a go at intermediate lead.

I like the FC sound and guitar work...basslines are mostly a whole lot of tedious strumming from what I've seen so far:

I don't think this will be good enough to win but maybe I'll have more time to work on it...and I'm happy with the improvement:

Bass improvement. Good attempt at 99%, but I'm not deluding myself that it will be enough 🙂

Barely played this week but I wanted to post anyway. Should have a bit more time next week. Also I got 99.8% on the beginner song on my sight read so that makes me feel pretty confident in the promotion.

So close to 99.5% 
I'll do some more attempts before the week ends later tonight and see if I can do the 100%😁

Maybe I am biased, but I think the fiercest competition is in the bass advance class, so welcome to the Coliseum 😄

I need to wake up pretty early tomorrow but I was also giving my last try to this song before going to bed...

I haven't played lots of bass before joining this competition but the last 2 advanced bass songs suited me very well and it's lots of fun 😛I wish my guitar progress would be just as good as my bass progress 😂

And here's my 99.5%+ attempt, my fretting hand has been cramping up a little so I'll give it a rest for today until the next week starts tonight 😁

 

I just leveled up to intermediate last week and this would make me eligible to rank up to masterclass right? 

It took me so many attempts to get this score, so I don't think I want to be in MC yet, maybe after I do 2 more 99.5% songs in the coming weeks😅
But I would like to use this to level up to advanced😁

Congratulations again, man! I genuinely mean it, because I've noticed how you have advanced and pretty quickly!

Yeah, I think I face the same challenge about getting better at playing guitar... But definitely one of the best things that happened to me this year is joining this Championship!   

I'm happy with this outcome, even if someone else gets a better score and wins...

Now I will be able to sleep very well... Looking forward to next week's Championship starting tomorrow! 🤟
