Note. This week I created quite quickly, because basically tonight. Ratings may be slightly inaccurate, but overall selected songs should fit to the appropriate classes.

Btw. Galneryus is really challenging (for me) but very fun to play on all paths!

I forgot about that when I was creating the week. I haven't played any of his songs in RS so I didn't know what to choose. If you have a song to suggest, it can be added as a bonus tribute.

There's only 3 CDLC with all paths on ignition rn. I'll give them a whirl tonight and get back to you.

Ok, here's what I got:

Beck's Bolero - L 5, R 2, B 3, was already played on week 314, the ratings are from there, highly recommended.
Cause We've Ended As Lovers - 6/6/3 - my ratings, lead v. similar to rhythm, the CDLC is a bit too quiet but usable imo
People Get Ready - 6/4.5/1.5 - my ratings
Superstition - x/x/8 - my ratings, bass only, from I've heard Jeff Beck co-wrote this with Stevie Wonder (who's version is also pretty sick)

So, since all the bonus slots are open, I'd recommend using the following:

lead int - bolero
lead adv - Cause...

rhythm beg - bolero
rhythm int - people...

bass beg - bolero
bass mc - superstition

Of course it's your call, feel free to do as you see fit. I didn't take the week because I wasn't sure I was going to be available. I didn't want to risk bailing out in the last minute.

Now, time for the weak sight-reads:

ouch... it's a 9. Really fun to play. If the level of competition from last weeks keeps up I'm in for A LOT of RRing. Looking forward to it.

PS. I'm pretty drunk rn, so don't look at these scores as a benchmark.

No... it's a running last 10weeks leaderboard. But the race for new champ 2023 has begun also. At the end of the year all the 2023 weeks will be used to calc that.

question to the masters: the tapping here - i go twohanded over the first two sections (9-14 and 10-14 on e 12 on b) and then switch to onehanded tapping (9-13 on e) picking the 9 on b - is that a good option?

is it just me or is the whole cdlc in lead path off by a note? i think it should be played up 1 or itd be right with a capo...

The only song ive heard from them is hotel california so its good to see their other catalogue

hmm is the hameron/ pulloff part/ ig tappy part supposed to be the synth sounding lead? because if it is im pretty sure its playing other stuff rather than whats tabbed.. i slowed it down to practice but it doesnt reaally match to audio unless im just bad

I've checked how it's been done in the past - if you type tribute into the Songs Played sheet search you'll see that it last performed in week 245. The song was selected as a tribute in addition to the standard selection. So I added Beck Bolero because I checked these CDLCs and this one seems to be the best quality.

Super cool, super tight, very difficult. I will definitely put the time to RR if I find it

As always my sightreading with fast songs is horrendous, so the score, but I think I can get in the 85-90 range

Yes, I edited the post and did it manually. If it's possible, you could make it happen automatically, because it's nice when players get notifications when they win.

but I found that it is not possible through copy-paste text, AFAIK
