Let us know your opinions on the accuracy of the difficulty scores (1-10) for this weeks songs.

 

A few notes: 

• The theme is Summer Down Under AKA while I'm freezing my butt off in the US it's summer time in Australia and I wish I could be there. Some of my favorite bands to listen to and play along with are Aussies. Note that AC/DC is not among them, sorry. 
• The beginner song for both lead and rhythm (The Church - Reptile) has the paths switched for some reason (ie, the lead path is actually rhythm and vice versa) so best bet is just to play both 🙂
• The Greatest View is a bit on the easier side for advanced bass but I figured we could use a break after Quadrant4...and believe me, it's much more enjoyable to play!
• Apologies for the down-tune needed on Mars for the Rich...KGLW are one of my favorite bands and most of their best songs have weird tunings and/or have bass only charts.

Not one of my top favorite songs from Tame Impala but it's still good and one of the only ones with a Championship-eligible guitar part:

I highly recommend using a pick for this one - PPC songs are a fun challenge on bass in general:

And...good luck. Managed to get this up from 87 to 91 percent but it's a tough one. If you haven't listened to KGLW before they aren't actually a thrash metal band, this album (Infest the Rat's Nest) was one of many musical experiments they've done in different genres and in this case many metalheads love the album:

If someone wants to add the guitar parts to Drunk & Disorderly, that would be fun to see as an easy part for an extra Australia theme week xD

This time, instead of posting my drunken sight-reads, I decided to put some effort into all of the songs. I'm still drinking, and it's gonna take more time than usual, so idk if manage to post every one tonight. Anyways, here's the first two scores:

Turns out this wasn't a great idea, since the inebriation is clearly outpacing my efforts. Anyway, this song does not like me:

This silverchair lead feels pretty difficult to me, not sure if anyone else agrees.

Haha...I hear you, that's totally me in the summertime but right now with the temperature at 10 degrees Fahrenheit in midday, summer sounds very inviting.

Also, Alchemist would be super interesting but I don't think anyone has made CDLC for their stuff, sadly.

After seeing your post I tried it, and it definitely seems harder than the king gizzard song. But then again rating the difficulty is kinda hard and subjective, and I'm pretty drunk by now. Once i sober up, I guess tomorrow, I'll try to rate each snog.
I'd suggest that you also post your ratings for the songs that you did play. The only way I see into getting fairly rated songs is to take some kind of average from the people playing.

Yes @ nlbsmglsk  and @ TarpMada we always appreciate feedback on the ratings! Let us know how you would rate the song, and keep in mind some songs feel really difficult initially but then feel less so the more you play them. The Greatest View is actually one where the first time I played it on bass it felt harder because it had some unusual progressions but then as I practiced it, not so much. I don't know if that will also hold true for lead. Either way, it is Advanced Lead so it should be...advanced, right? Anyway, let us know your thoughts when you post scores.

Lead Masterclass 

@ jellisjenius asked to testing guitar paths of the selected songs, I was the only one who did it, so the ratings are mine and very subjective. I played most of this songs once, tried Silverchair again and indeed the rating may be a little low, @ jellisjenius you can raise to 7 but I think this is still a more difficult advanced class song. This is difficult to rating because there are basically no solos, but a few unusual chords can cause you to lose a high percentage of accuracy.
