I launch Rocksmith via steam  when I get a error

( Steam Service Error - The Steam component is not working properly on this computer.

Reinstalling the steam service requires administrator privileges.)

Then there is a Install service button and a cancel button.

If I choose cancel it will continue on to steam and let me play Rocksmith with no issues and it saves

progress.

However I'm a little worried about installing as I have a lot of DLC's and CDLC's with a lot of progress,

I don't want to lose songs or progress.

I could install and it might just reinstall steam over the top not really effecting anything, or it could delete all before reinstalling  causing me to totally start from scratch.

Has anyone else ran into this issue and how do I solve it without losing anything?
