HELP! CDLCS not working on PC

Well i have tried both the d3d file and the rocksmith 2014 patcher downloads from this video 

 

Neither seem to work. I have them installed to the main folder of the rs2014. Is there a different file? 

I can see the song in my list, click on it, tune my guitar then nothing..... Any ideas??

Running on windows 7, tried multiple cdlc songs
