It wouldn't be as n00b friendly if they done it that way. When I started out I had no idea about the concept of muting, as a result my playing sounded horrible and if that was the model they used I never would've had larger than a 1 note streak. Maybe a new game will give us the option? I'm hoping for a 2016/7 at E3 :)

I got the same notification icon.  Since it is a download that I can apply whenever I feel confident it is safe to do so, I reserved it as well.  I know a few people in the gaming world have had early access to win10, but I don't think I've seen anyone here mention it.  It would be interesting to know if there are any issues running Steam, Rocksmith or any of the toolkits under Windows 10.

Rocksmith has no official support for Windows 10 yet, they said they were waiting until it reaches its final stages on one of the streams. I'd expect an announcement in the next month, provided it isn't severely broken on Windows 10.

I just got a notification the other day to upgrade for free. Just wondering if it's worth it to do since I haven't really looked up info or heard anything about windows 10.

Windows 10 is essentially the Windows 8 update we were promised years ago that would give us back the start menu and combine the metro UI with it. There's probably more to it than that but that's enough in my book.

I got the award for second place in intermediate rhythm but the description says I got 3rd place lol

@@storm20200 I can see it. Try with only Green Bag in your cdlc library. It can be that it has conflict with other cdlc.

I mysteriously had a .crdownload file with the same name in my dlc directory, it works now! I'll give it a go tomorrow.

First entry in 33 weeks apparently. Is anyone else having trouble getting Little Green Bag showing up in game? It's hard to play it if isn't in the song list....

Oh yeah, get a bit of prog in you! The main riff on the King Crimson one is apparently slightly wrong, I was hoping it'd be fixed as the creator has known for ages but it's quite fun even with the small error.

You can only use Rocksmith 1 DLC on 2014 if you own Rocksmith 1, unfortunately it's a limitation of Steam which prevents you from owning DLC for games you don't have.

Had a quick play last night, this is my first entry. Hoping to get 97%+ this week though the fast part of the solo can be difficult with those quick bends. Also interesting to see 24th notes for once. If anyone has tone suggestions feel free to let me know, I'm crap at making tones but it doesn't seem too bad on this one.

@ I added Dropbox to the CDLC page. I don't know why people are having problem with Mega, I was under the impression it was preferable to Mediafire.

I've tried loads but will likely stick to Elixir strings, they're the only ones to stay clean after three days of playing. I make sure to clean my hands before each play but they get dirty really quickly so it's coated strings only for me in the future.

My Intermediate entries, no offence to face fans out there but I really couldn't listen to this song more than twice.

@@Mortalo when I clicked the link to Are You Gonna Be My Girl? it took me to After Midnight, if it wasn't you maybe a database error? It seems to work now after refreshing.

It should be charted as tremolo with the B string pre-bent but instead it just shows as loads of notes closely together. As long as you pick fast enough it seems OK, just remember that all of those chords have a pre-bent B string.

EDIT: @@punchyrumble you are correct, I thought it was the just Lead link but nevermind :P

Symphony X are brilliant, they're very symphonic and progressive though you need chops to attempt their songs :)

@@Rodman nice one man, you've played that song more in one week than I've played any song in 8 months! I've not spent much time on it but I'd be extremely happy to get 98% on it!

I think it'd be better to just stick to a one week for all songs, unless you do it for them all it just seems more confusing and unnecessary.

@@rickcsong Check out the first section from John Petruccis' Rock Discipline. I took my stretching warmup from there and feel a lot better when I get going because of it.
