      Awesome, Lacey

I got and added all the Bass resources to my collection. Thanks so much, I have been struggling getting Bass paths added to all my Customs. But the journey has been improving my Bass skills, for sure. Hopefully in the near future I will learn to thump the Bass with just my fingers and put down the pick I always us now.

      Hi, Lacey

I have the same Beatles Guitar books in PDF, and have been meaning to do some more great Beatles Customs, Maybe working together, and make a 6-pack 3 for you and 3 for me to post to CF. I just played the Lead and Rhythm paths on the Melissa Etheridge custom. I see what the guy is talking about, a lot of the chords are not showing up correctly, more so on the Rhythm path but also showing up on the Lead Path but not as bad. I will try to set up the notes.eof and guitar.ogg tomorrow and see if I can get it to play - never have done something like it before setting that combo in EOF yet. Will let you know if I run into problems setting it up tomorrow.

       Thank you so much, Lacey.

That image of the sheet music for Magic Carpet Ride is going to help me touching up the lead path immensely. @@Aludog has the sheet music to a lot of Steppenwolf tunes he is going to scan for me in the near future, I think with your resources and his I should be able to get a really nice 3-pack of Steppenwolf Customs posted to CF in the near future.

Link to Bass Resources Will be another 15 minuets before it's all uploaded. I think @@jbroch, Jerry would like to check theses out also and @@Tank-OR Shawn Too. I have the download of the Melissa Etheridge custom and going to check it out now. Just finished up syncing up Hey Lawdy Mama, if you have anything for it I sure would like to have more resources for it also.

Hi, Byecal - Can I call you Lacey?

I will take a look at your custom and see if I can help with the problem with the chords not showing up right. I am working on two Steppenwolf Customs now and neither have Bass lines in all the GP or Power-tab files, I have found. Would you happen to have any Bass Music books in PDF format? I have a few if you want me to get them to you. The Steppenwolf tunes I am working on are Magic Carpet Ride and Hey Lawdy Mama. I have the Lead Paths, Rhythm Paths, and a Bonus Lead Paths on both, charted already and looking real good so far, but sadly no Bass. Well anyway, will try to check out your Custom soon and see if I can help any.

     Hi, steve

I'll recheck the ZZ Top Lead part. The first post of it the lead path didn't show up for me either, I repacked the tune and played it again and the lead path was there. I did change it out on the google drive with the link on the second post, will recheck the new link to make sure the lead path shows up. Glad to hear you got your Jackson set up and now your having fun playin' it. I just spent the last few hours helping to change out our busted hot water heater, a week of cold showers was quite invigorating for sure. And sure am glad it's not in the middle of winter.

Update: Checked for lead path on ZZ Top's - Backdoor Love affair and it is included at this link.

    Hi, Fripp

Played your Time Warp, and you did a great job on the Lead and Rhythm paths. Had a blast playing it. Got a 75 on the lead after two tries and a 73 on the Rhythm after 1 try so it's not super difficult, really brings back memories of wild and crazy times. The wife came in while I was playing it and started singing it and doing the dance also. I was laughing and playing this tune at the same time. Thanks so much for your hard work putting this great Custom together.

  7. Hi, Guys

I finally got to hook up my guitar and play some Rocksmith Customs, after like 3 weeks. Played my ZZ Top Backdoor Love Affair remake. And the Lead and Rhythm paths are sounding sweet and looks lined up right also. So glad to be done with the updated version. Had to repack it because the Lead Path didn't show up on the last download post, but got that straightened up now. Going to play Fripp's The Time Warp Now. @@fripponomic

  8. Hi, Guys

I think I have the third ZZ Top tune Complete finally. I worked very hard on it trying to get it correct. It's not an easy tune to play, at least for me for sure. I hope it lined up correctly been having PC problems after trying to update the Windows Version to Windows 10 unsuccessfully on this PC. I will be giving it a try later on today. Here is a link if anyone wants to check it out:

     Hi, Aludog

Only two Steppenwolf songs in the CF Database what a shame, I have always wanted to try my hand at charting some of there tunes. I saw on your Aludog's Blues Tab Database lots of Steppenwolf. Could I get the following sheet music?

Magic Carpet Ride (Might be impossible or super hard to chart with all the keyboard and effects)
    Rock Me
    The Pusher
    Hey Lawdy Mama

No rush, whenever you get a chance.

  10. Hi, Guys

Well, what a week, feels like I traveled around the world. I spent 5 days in San Diego and then 3 days getting the youngest daughter too and set up at college. Everything went pretty smooth, no major disasters. I was on the go so much I didn't have time to post any pics. will try to get some up here soon. Looking forward to the 3-day weekend coming up (Labor Day weekend) here in the U.S., but I am pretty sure I will most likely be on the go visiting family. No rest for the weary for sure.

So glad to be back and plan on picking up the Guitar again, and try to get those 3 ZZ Top customs completed and posted some day.

Hope everybody out there are OK and doing fine.

  11. Hi, Guys

Well, my journey starts early tomorrow morning 6:30 a.m. Headed to the airport. Arrive in San Diego, CA around noon. Have my ticket to the Steel Beach and Beer Fest party aboard the USS Midway Museum going to hang out with a group of Navy buddies I haven't seen in nearly 40 years. Will post some pics here of the Aircraft Carrier and some of the aircraft.

      Hi, Steve

You are very right about that Rhythm Path on ZZ's Backdoor Love Affair "What A Mess", I found out I have the sheet music for it and have started Charting new Lead and Rhythm Paths (Looks good so far). All Paths on that GuitarPro file I used were total Junk. I have been busy the last couple days fixing computers and upgrading the operating systems to Windows 10 - (only have a couple days left to get the free upgrade). Done 5 and still got a few more to finish.

This weekend is booked with car repairs, last week teaching one of my Daughters to drive, she over steers the car in a turn and hit's a curb - blows the tire bends the lower control arm, and have to replace the front sway bar that has been broken for a while. Got all the parts new except the sway bar hopefully I can find one in a junkyard.

  13. Hi, Guys

Got more new ZZ Custom made, all from ZZ Top's First Album - 1971, I played Lead and Rhythm paths on all of them so far and surprised how well they have turned out, still want to check out the Bonus Leads and Bass paths, hopefully tonight.

Here they are if anyone want's to give them a try.

    ZZ Top - Goin' Down to Mexico - 1971 V3.5  L, BL, R, B & V 1.5 scroll speed

I didn't mark the Arpegios on this one - they are easy enough to figure out the arpeggios on the power chords.

    ZZ Top - Old Man - 1971 V3.5  L, BL, R, B & V 1.5 scroll speed

I charted this one back in 1/11/2015. I have completely recharted this one, What a beast, to get it pretty decent now. I hand charted the Bass Path from a decent looking tab, the Guitar Pro Bass path was junk as usual. I finally had fun playing it for sure. And as Steve @@manchot66 is fond of saying polishing up an old turd, I think I polished this one up and now it's shining bright!

Edit: Played the Bonus Leads and the Bass lines, I think there decent also, maybe they will get some interest on CF from the ZZ Top Fans.
