  1. Steve, I did get a new speaker set up for my PC, I play Rocksmith on, one of those 3 speaker system jobs with the extra Bass booster box. But haven't really played it much, I like playing Guitar with headphones on. Will have to play with the speakers someday while everyone's away crank up some Metallica on them and test them out good. I was going to throw in a sound card just to see if I can get another mic setup running. I also have 4 Beach Boys tunes almost ready, Just in time for Summer - used the audio MP3's off The Beach Boys - The Sounds of Summer Album - 2003 Remaster. The Beach Boys - California Girls - L, R, B & V The Beach Boys - Kokomo - L, R, B & V The Beach Boys - Help Me Rhonda - 1965 - L, R, B & V The Beach Boys - Wouldn’t It Be Nice - L, R, B & V Later, Terry
  2. Hi, Jerry The website dropped the link so I took it down. Once I get the mic responding, I will try it again. I was thinking of adding a sound card to the PC. I have a bunch of them just sitting around getting old. Later, Terry
  3. Hi, Guys Looks like we have a new Member in the CRC-Social Group, KJParsley, It looks like he is a Guitar and Bass Player, but with little charting experience. So welcome KJParsley to The Classic Rock Coalition. Later, avdocatwork aka: Terry
  4. Hi, Guys We have a new guy that wants to become a Member KJParsley, It looks like he is a Guitar and Bass Player, but with no charting experience, but has started to learn to chart customs. I will add everyone to his message to the CRC. I think he would be a great addition to the CRC, What do you guys think. Looks like he is part of the championship area also. Later, Terry
  5. Hi, Steve Had a blast playing the Free-Heartbreaker tune, got 73% on lead and 75% on Rhythm even was going to play Bass on it. But Bass didn't show up, then I went back and saw no Bass on your post. Fine song great fun to play and everything looks really good on it. And I thought Free was a one hit wonder, until I ran into this tune. Thanks for charting this one, hope to see more Free tunes, the last two you made are great. Later, Terry
  6. Hi, Guys I have added a live voice chat link to the front page of the CRC Social Group. All you need is a Mic on your PC. I have a set of headphones with Mic attached. I will get one for work and maybe will be available for live chat M-F, There even, may be video, but I haven't checked it out yet. Later, Terry Update: I can't get my mic to work, The Rocksmith cable has taken over the mic settings and my headphone mic is not detected. If it's not one thing with these PC's it's another, trying to get it to work, and it's never easy. Later
  7. Hi, Guys Got four new customs put together. If anyone want's to give them a try. The Beatles - All My Loving - 1963 - L, R, B & V The Beatles - And I Love Her - 1964 - L, R, B & V The Beach Boys - Help Me Rhonda - 1965 - L, R, B & V Jan And Dean - Surf City - 1963 - L, R & B -Took down the link for this one - It's an out of tune mess, might have to scrap this one. Later, Terry
  8. Hi, Steve Just checked out Heartbreaker on YouTube - great tune, can't wait to give it some run-throughs this evening. Later, Terry
  9. Thanks, Crossbolt Those fast chord changes in the Beatles tunes are pretty hard. The Lead and Rhythm paths I charted from The Beatles 1962–1966 Guitar Book, The audio on the songs are from my The Beatles 1962–1966 CD-1 (The Red Album) - 1973 I will show everybody how crappy I am at playing them! My scores on the tunes: The Beatles - From Me To You L-38% R-65% The Beatles - I Feel Fine L-28% R-50% The Beatles - Love Me Do L-84% R-89% The Beatles - Please Please Me L-75% R-82% Later, Terry
  10. Yeah, Steve - Me Too But I am starting to get the hang of some of them, and starting to remember the funny looking chord positions. Later, Terry
  11. Ok, Aludog Sure, it's OK with me. I tell you what, if you help me with some of the Bass lines on some of my older customs, I will do every other Beach Boy tune for you to keep and post. My pressing customs I am having a hard time charting and correcting the Bass lines are: Eric Clapton - Lay Down Sally - 1977 - Re-charting Bass Line Jimmy Buffett - Margaritaville - 1977 - Re-charting Bass Line - I have the files with partially completed Bass lines for these two. I would love to do Barbara Ann or California Girls or both for you to do the Bass line on Keep and post, I will take care of the Lead and Rhythm Paths. Kokomo and Surfin' U.S.A. would really be great ones to chart also. Later, Terry
  12. Hi, Aludog I think I will leave the Bass Path as is for the Beatles - Love Me Do. I have got the Lead and Rhythm paths done on B.B. - Help Me Rhonda - Files Bass line is there from the GuitarPro file - I used the Tab you sent me to make the Lead and Rhythm Paths. No vocals or sectioning of the tune yet. How did you want to work this collaboration, you want me to post to CF after completion or do you want to post it, after charting the Bass line? I would be OK with me posting this one and you can have and post the next one. I think I am going to look for another Beach Boys tune for you. The tune - Wouldn’t It Be Nice has a lot of change ups in it and it's going to take a lot more work to get it charted. Later, Terry
  13. Hi, Guys I have a question for all you great Bass players, Am I confusing a Bass Drum hit, or is it the Bass Guitar hitting a quick double note hit in this song? It is pretty constant throughout the song. The double Bass note hit's become more prevalent in the middle and to the end of the tune. I don't have what I think are double hits charted in the Bass line, but will put them in if they are the Bass playing them. The Beatles - Love Me Do - 1964 - L, R, B & V Later, Terry
  14. Hi, Steve It was clear on Friday, on the day of the concert, but started raining late the next day. Here are my four Beatles tunes I have in the Testing Phase now. The Beatles - From Me To You - 1963 - L, R, B & V The Beatles - I Feel Fine - 1964 - L, R, B & V Edit: I was thinking these next two were going to be really complicated on the Lead and Rhythm paths, but found out they are not that bad and are really fun to play. The Beatles - Love Me Do - 1964 - L, R, B & V The Beatles - Please Please Me - 1963 - L, R, B & V, - if anyone wants to give them a try. Now I'm getting tired of the Beatles, going to move on to some Beach Boys, and try my hand at charting a few of there tunes. Only four of there tunes on CF, what a shame ! Later, Terry
  15. Hi, Aludog I am up for doing a few Beach Boys customs. Had a few in the works. Help Me Rhonda and Wouldn’t It Be Nice, among others I was playing around with, but set them aside once I got on the Beatles kick. Hi, CrossBolt Played Nugent - Dog Eat Dog yesterday great work, I had the album with that tune on it years ago and played it all the time. Later, Terry
  16. Hi, Guys The Classic Rock Concert Friday evening was great. B.O.C. started up with there classics, Burning for you, Don't fear the reaper, Godzilla ect. Then encored with Cities On Flame With Rock And Roll, there Bassist Kasim Sulton, was with Joan Jett, Meat Loaf and many other groups before B.O.C. The Guitars were screaming for sure. Then Eddie Money played all his hits. What was interesting was Eddie Money's son and daughter are touring with him son on rhythm guitar and daughter backup vocals, the son and daughter did a few songs of there own, while Eddie took a break. Lynyrd Skynyrd was great Johnny Van Zant was the vocalist and Gary Rossington the only original member left. They encored with Free Bird of course. Later, Terry
  17. Hi, Guys I updated and re-vamped The Classic Rock Coalition Home Page. And linked it to the new Classic Rock Coalition Social Group. We have 37 Members and Guests on it now, over twice of any other Social Group. I have a feeling many more Guests are going to start joining soon after I update all the other pages - with links. Later, avdocatwork
  18. Hi, Aludog I played your America tune - Tin Man, Great work, Guitar tones and song's volume are great. The song was really fun to play also. Just wanted to let you know if you add a link and a little info about The CRC on the download page, I will list your custom on the CRC Home Page and in the CRC Social Group's Customs completed page with links. Just wanted to let you know, you don't have to do it if you don't want to. Later, Terry
  19. Hi, Steve Played the Lead Path on the Free tune, finally getting the hang of it, only got up to 66% but I can tell all audio levels are great, and sync is spot on, I was not familiar with this tune at first so I checked it out on YouTube a few times, but am really liking it now ! It will be a great addition to CF. Later, Terry
  20. Thanks, Steve Now I remember seeing that too, I thought it strange, those notes being there. Here are my two Beatles tunes I have in the Testing Phase now. The Beatles - From Me To You - 1963 - L, R, B & V The Beatles - I Feel Fine - 1964 - L, R, B & V, - if anyone wants to give them a try. Later, Terry
  21. Thanks, Steve I played the Free tune last night, sounds good. I haven't figured out how to get the slide riff sounding right. After the chord slides up do you hit the higher chord again? I need to play it some more to figure it out. Later, Terry
  22. Hi, Guys I got another Beatles tune completed The Beatles - From Me To You - 1963 - L, R, B & V if anyone wants to give it a try. The first of there songs to feature there trademark unison Woo-o-o sound that drove all the gal's wild. Steve, I will give the Free tune a go this evening along with this one and check them both out. The Bass line to this Beatles tune looks like one of the easiest ones I have ever seen, I think even I can get a 100% on it - easy. Later, Terry
  23. Awesome, Jerry And thanks for checking out the Beatles - A Hard Day's Night the other day. I finally got them posted to CF last night. Later, Terry
  24. Hi, Guys I finally have the Beatles tune - A Hard Day's Night Completed if any one wants to give it a try out. I used the tab book - Recorded Versions Guitar, and audio came from the re-mastered The Beatles - 1962-1966 CD-1. We now have 29 Members and Guests in The CRC Social Group. Later, Terry Edit: I played the Lead and Rhythm Paths - I can hardly believe how close the charting and Guitar tones are to sounding like The Beatles, I think it's awesome. There are a few spots that need work and polishing up, but all and all one of the best I have charted. I guess I am finally getting the hang of this charting Customs thing. And all the GuitarPro files for the song are all pretty much junk compared to what I have Charted here, on A Hard Day's Night. I went and bought The Beatles (Remastered) 1962-1966 CD set, today also got the CD album Stevie Ray Vaughan Greatest Hits Vol. 2, planning on doing some more SRV.
  25. Hi, Steve I have heard you use the term multitrack before. What is a multitrack? I do have the Audacity program in my PC. I think the only thing I have done with it is to splice MP3's apart or together. I am on the last 30 sec. of the Rhythm Path on Hard Day's Night, last of the tracks to be completed. Then do some touch up's and finally be done with it. I used the book called - Recorded Versions Guitar - on this Beatles tune. Later, Terry
