  1. Hi, Jerry That pic of the side view of that neck, gave me the chills. Hope it can be fixed up without too much trouble. I will have to take some Pics. of my Guitars and Bass and post them here. Looking forward to your visit here in Texas soon. Later, Terry
  2. @@jbroch Hi, Jerry Last year I found a Fender Squire Precision Bass, a Fallout Boy Pete Winch design, pretty sure it's a mexico or Korean, but not positive. For right at $100.00 on sale at Circuit City - I think - of all places. I do like it but I am no Bass expert. Bought it for my wife and tried to get her on RockSmith with me, but no luck she hasn't even touched it. :D And pretty sure she never will, but hey I like playing it. Later, Terry

  4. @@manchot66 Hi, Steve I bet the Unknown Hinson guy puts on a funny show, I haven't really heard of him before. The John Cortez Band sounds like it's right up my alley, I told my wife about it and she is all in for going and finally seeing the Gas Monkey Bar N' Grill along with me seeing it for the first time also. Heard on the news they got caught watering down the Booze recently and replacing the expensive Hard liquor with a cheaper brand. But I just drink Beer, they can't mess with it, I think, in the cans and bottles, now the draft would be a different story. Later, Terry

  7. @@manchot66 That high humidity describes Houston, Texas too. I lived there a little over 10 years, Here around Dallas it gets hotter but not as humid for sure. Part of that front came through here the other day the temp. dropped from around 100 to the high 80's also, nice but it has started to heat up a bit now to the high 70's in the morning and high 90's later in the day. Hope everything is going well for you, and all the news from the Doctors will only be Good News! Later, Terry
  8. @@manchot66 Also sorry to hear of your poor health, Steve. I have been taking it easy myself, the heat around here lately has really wore me out. Labor Day weekend's heat really took a lot out of me, I was outside most of the day and evenings, but it could have been worse, like a few years ago when it was a scorcher all summer long. Like in the phrase in the Yardbirds Tune, Psycho Daisies, I put together a week or so ago "Texas is fine but it gets too hot". I also saw the heat in your area was not all that pleasant, earlier last month. Later, Terry

  13. Hi, Guys The event over the weekend went pretty good. Cops showed at 1:00 in the morning saying turn it down, they could have showed up at 11:00 PM but they gave us a break for sure. No trouble came out of it. Didn't get home and unloaded until 4:30 a.m. I knew it was going to be a long night. It was a pretty wild party seemed twice as big over last years event. @@jbroch Great Play-Through Jerry Later, Terry
  14. @@jbroch Awesome! Bass play-throughs Jerry, My daughter was singing along while you were playing Hey Jude. I am glad those Bass lines turned out alright and are playable. I guess I am getting a little better at charting and syncing up Bass Paths. I have another Gig this evening - Fund raising, Charity event, DJ'ing at the neighborhood pool party again this year. Got all the audio and lighting gear together, and previewing the Jazz playlist on my Laptop. I have to reorganize the dance music for later on in the evening. All the booze you can drink for just 25.00 entry ticket, but I get in free for volunteering. I usually bring my own beer anyway, and try to keep away from the Whiskey and Tequila ect. I can't handle it like I used too, besides I have to load up all the equipment and haul it home and unload it after the event. Looks like it's going to be a long night for sure. At least I have a few roadies on this Gig to help me this year, The Wife and oldest daughter who just turned 21 a few weeks ago. Later, Terry

  16. Hi, Steve Penny Lane is all Piano, Flute, Trumpet and Brass Section, arranged for Guitar. I still haven't completed the Trumpet Lead Solo in the Lead Guitar Path yet - that thing is from outer space for sure :o like all the other sections. Hopefully the following batch of tunes I'm working on aren't like Penny Lanes arrangements and set up for normal Guitar parts. Here are the other Beatles Tunes I have been working on. The Beatles - Across the Universe - 1969 The Beatles - Hello, Goodbye - 1967 The Beatles - Hey Jude - 1968 The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour - 1967 I almost have The Beatles - Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds - 1967, Completed. I have the first version made, and plan to test it this evening. Later, Terry
  17. OK, Guys I am pretty sure you guys are getting tired of my charted Beatles tunes, but I just can't stop making them for some reason. I guess it's because I have the Beatles tab book and can put them together pretty easy. And to tell the truth I do like playing them too. Here are a couple Beatles tunes if any one wants to give them a try. The Beatles - Penny Lane - 1965 V3.5 L, R, B & V - This one is pretty difficult - Piano, Flute, Trumpet & Brass arranged for Guitar. But not to bad sounding. I bet the Bass is fun to play. I only tried out the Lead & Rhythm Paths. The Beatles - This Boy - 1965 V3.5 L, R, B & V I have been playing the other version on CustomsForge for years Love to play this tune. The songs audio level and guitar tones are way too loud in this version - will lower them tomorrow. But I feel I have really improved the tune in my version. Later, Terry
  18. @@jbroch Hi, Jerry That type of tune takes me back to the old Disco days in the late 70's, hitting the major Discos in Tokyo. I could dance up a storm back then, and yes I would through in my best Mick Jagger and John Travolta moves, and even some James Brown if I was drunk enough, to impress the lady's, and on occasion did get lucky. But to tell the truth, it was a blast and the Disco and R & B bands, I still like to listen to them every once and a while. @@manchot66 Ha! - Steve - In a Box, for real?, sounds like major pain for somebody. I bet the Chicks Love this song and sing along with no problem. Very funny tune. But I do like the funky groove and beat of the tune, Takes me back for sure. Later, Terry
  19. @JamesPrestonUK Hi, James Played a Run--Through of the Rhythm Path of The Police tune, good work so far, audio levels very good, Rhythm Guitar tone sounds good to me. Sync right on. But a few things you need to check out on it, Riff repeater will only go up through 5 sections, from the beginning of the tune. it stops when the lead guitar comes in. I think you just need to finish sectioning it all in EOF. - Verse, Chorus, Solo, Outro, you know, it all has to be put in there. And the note highway ends before the end of the song, I figure you can just copy and past the ending section from earlier in the song. Great work dude, I can tell you will be an Elite Charter in no time at all. Later, avdocatwork aka: Terry
  20. @@JamesPrestonUK Hi, James I listened to the Police tune on YouTube this afternoon, wasn't familiar with it but it sounds pretty good. Wow you sure are a busy one, Now I see you have 17 Customs charted. Later, avdocatwork aka: Terry
  21. Hi, Guys EDIT: Ah Crap I didn't set the tuning to Eb - Will do that tomorrow and repack it again. This version is no good. Edit Again: Oh what a mess, I got going on with this tune. I think the Lead and Bass are in E Standard tuning but the Rhythm Path is in Eb. I need one of you fantastic Bass players here in the CRC to try out the Bass line and give me some pointers. And let me know if the Bass line is truly in E, or a little lower tuning. I played through it on my Bass and it sounded close, I think, but could be a little out of tune. So I tuned my Bass to Eb and ran through it again and I know it's not Eb it sounded way worse than E. On the Lead Path it sounded to be pretty good tuning in E but most of the chords need to be simplified for sure. Looks like I got myself into a big mess on this tune. Here we go again - I have yet another Acoustic Beatles tune charted, The Beatles - Yellow Submarine - 1966 V3.5 - L, R. B and V - If anyone wants to give it a try. I haven't played it yet will test run it in a few hours. I made the Rhythm Path easy Basic Guitar chords and made the Lead Paths Guitar doubling the Rhythm Path with advanced Barre Chords higher on the neck and the Solo is the Marching Band Riff arranged for Guitar. Later, Terry
  22. Hi, Jerry Theirs nothing better in the morning to get motivated with, than to listen to some great Black Sabbath classics. Thanks for the Beatles play-throughs also. Steve, That Michelle tune was a trip to attempt for me also, I had to search around for my Capo, finally found it and got going on it and was surprised at how complex it really is on the Rhythm path. I agree with you on the Lead path being easier to play. I will look into that sitar tone and see how it will sound, and get that spelling corrected. I attempted a semester of French, dropped out half way through. I did better on the two semesters of Japanese, I took, It helped being in Japan at the time in the late 70's. Later, Terry
  23. @@jbroch Wow, Jerry You make playing the Bass look so easy. When I get on my Bass and start thumping away with my poor skills, I certainly struggle with it.. Hi, Guys Finally got a break from the Heat here in North Central Texas, the last 4 or 5 weeks temp. has been around 100 to 107 degrees around here. Dropped to the 80's here a few hours ago. Well I got another Acoustic Beatles tune charted, The Beatles - Michelle - 1965 V3.5 - L, R. B and V - If anyone wants to give it a try. I haven't played it yet will test run it in a few hours. Later, Terry @@albatross213 - Happy Birthday albatross. @@JamesPrestonUK - Good to see you here James.
  24. @@manchot66 Hi, Steve I think you will like it Steve. I have been getting close to jumping from the chords to the few single notes then back to the chords in the song. A real challenge but not too super hard. I plan on putting it in riff repeater and slowing it down some and getting the hang of it, I believe that will help me a lot getting it down better. It's a sweet tune for sure, I think. Next step planed is to make a Karaoke version of the tune also. I load up the original and the Karaoke versions and the +DD versions then run through them all, and next thing you know I am playing along with the customs at a really good pace. Later, Terry I am kicking Ass on my version of Twist And Shout now. I downloaded Bandicam and am learning how to use it, and will record my play-throughs if I can get that darn program figured out. and plan to make play-throughs of my test runs like Jerry has been doing - SWEET. Every video that I watch of his, makes me want to switch from the 6-string Guitar over to the Bass Guitar ! Later, Again
  25. OK, Guys I have a new one, No one has charted this one for RockSmith 2014. I call it the EZ-Guitar Version of The Beatles - Norwegian Wood. And I think it is really turning out great so far. Maybe later I will chart the advanced version with the Capo's on the Guitars and combine all the 3 Guitars into combo's, but it will certainly be a massive undertaking, If I decide to put a lot of time into it and get it going on, but this version sounds good enough to me for now. I gave the Lead and Rhythm paths a run-through and I really like the way it is sounding so far, this is my first version of it. So let me know what you guys think of it so far. The Beatles - Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) - 1965 V3.5 - L, R. B and V Later, Terry
