  1. Hi, Guys Got my first Version of Cat Stevens - Father And Son - 1970 completed, Just The Lead and Rhythm Guitar Paths. The tuning on the song has to be either slightly sharp or flat, it just sounds off to me but close. I would appreciate some opinions on this one, to get it figured out, I have never been very good with odd turnings. Here it is if anyone want's to give it a try. Cat Stevens - Father And Son - 1970 Lead, Rhythm and Vocals Only The Acoustic Tone is from Aludog's Tin Man by America. Later, Terry
  2. @@manchot66 Hi, Steve Sorry you're having such bad luck dealing with Dean Guitars. I can see the crappy paint job in the photos for sure. Never saw high frets ground down like that before. I looked at all my Guitars and none of them are shaved down like that. It has to be a used Guitar that someone had attempted to modify. It is very poor quality for sure. Later, Terry
  3. @@manchot66 Yeah, Pantera and Dimebag were from the Dallas, Texas area. And i also really wouldn't want to be seen playing that Guitar around this area either. :D It would be just asking for trouble. Later, Terry
  4. @@manchot66 Hi, Steve That Dean Dimebag Darrell Razorback Guitar, wouldn't be a problem here in Texas, There are many, many Red Necks around here, that would love to have one like it. The Confederate Flag Hate hasn't manifested here yet, but of course I expect it in the near future, most likely. Seems like the US is getting so politically correct now days, we will all have to email our Congressman for permission to take a Shit soon. :D Just me saying Congressman could get me in trouble for being sexually biased, by the Congresswomen and supporters. 5. Hi, Guys I also have the first version of Rory Gallagher - Road To Hell - 1987, completed if any of you Bass Players want to give it a try. For PC Plum's Rory Gallagher 7 Pack project Rory Gallagher - Road To Hell - 1987 V1 - B and V Only Later, avdocatwork
  6. Hi, Guys Well, have the first version of Jethro Tull - Bungle in the Jungle finished. I think it turned out pretty well. Went through all the tracks 4 or 5 times today getting the volume levels set up, got better on all the single note riff sections for sure - pretty fun tune to play. Here it is if anyone wants to give it a try. Jethro Tull - Bungle in the Jungle - 1974 V3.0 - L, Bonus L, R, B and V Later, avdocatwork
  7. Hi, Classic Rock Coalition Members. A good friend and former Member of The Classic Rock Coalition (Unfortunately it is best for all, I do not say who) has passed on a huge collection of Customs to The Classic Rock Coalition. A great opportunity for the new Magna Charters in the Group to get more Customs easily posted to CustomsForge. Most of the Customs are just Bass and Vocals, but I know there are some with Lead and Rhythm paths included. The Friend would appreciate improvements on the Custom and missing Guitar Paths added if possible. You can use the Toolkit's Unpack option to get all the files needed to assemble a fine Custom with at least an excellent Bass and Vocal Paths already charted for you. 8. Hi, Guys Well I have been sneaking in some Charting time with Jethro Tull - Bungle in the Jungle - 1974, It seems to be coming together pretty good. There will be L, Bonus L, R, B and Vocals. The song is pretty complicated with all the tracks. I remember all the air play on the AM and FM radio back in the mid-70's the song had gotten. Haven't packed and played it yet, hope it turns out OK, It looks like it's going to be a fun song to play, so far. And big news, I plan on posting here (at the Full Members Resources Area) , probably tomorrow when I get all the information and links together, A very good Friend and former Member of The Classic Rock Coalition has given The Classic Rock Coalition access, too, and it looks like close to 500, already built CDLC's. Mostly Bass and Vocal Paths, but some have Lead and Rhythm paths also. Further information will come tomorrow. I am sure everyone knows who the Friend is, but unfortunately I can't post the Friends name. Later, avdocatwork
  9. @@kobie83 @@Aludog Hi, Guys You both must be psychic, or we all three think the same. :D The past week I have been collecting resources for an Allman Brothers 3 or 4 pack. Material I have gathered so far are by The Allman Brothers Band - Melissa, Midnight Rider, Ramblin' Man and Statesboro Blues (Live). I have the Bass and Guitar Sheet music and Play A-Long Backing Tracks also for the Last two. On Melissa, I have only the 6-string Guitar Sheet music and Play A-Long Backing Tracks. Midnight Rider I only have a Guitar Pro file, but it has a decent looking Bass chart included. But like Aludog finding time to chart all the tunes, with family and work obligations it's tough finding time to chart all the tunes I wished I could, but they are definitely planed for the near future. After the Acoustic 70's three Pack I have started on - Cat Stevens - Father And Son - 1970 Jethro Tull - Bungle in the Jungle - 1974 Jim Croce - Bad, Bad Leroy Brown - 1973 Also I am half way through my America - Horse With No Name, Re-Vamp project. To watch the progress of these tunes and many other New Customs that are also in progress by the Magna Charters at The Classic Rock Coalition, become a Guest at The Classic Rock Coalition and go to the Classic Rock Coalition Works In Progress Page. 10. Hi, Guys It's going to be a really hectic next couple of weeks here, have a daughters birthday and graduation from High School also. And the wife has many things planed that I have to help with. And i'm in the huge re-chart of the tune America - Horse With No Name. Just wanted to let you know don't worry about playin' the version I posted here a while ago, I have already tore it apart and am combining the good sections with the original Chart I made in Dec. 2014. The new version I am hoping will be worthy of the awesome Classic Guitar tune. Later, Terry
  11. @@manchot66 Hi, Steve Awesome looking AXE you got there, Maybe I will get lucky and get a new awesome Guitar for Christmas, I have already been hinting around the family. :D But probably end up with a Ukulele, if that's the case, I'll have to go Hawaiian for sure. Tiny Bubbles, by Don Ho, anyone! Later, Terry Edit: 4/29/2016 - With a lot of grueling work I just might be able to Chart the Rhythm Path. Now everybody has to listen to it, to know what I'm talking about. :D
  12. Hi, PC Plum I remember now playing Tin Man by America, and liking the Acoustic Tone and also the tone in Tommy Can You Hear Me both by @@Aludog - going to try both and a few new tones today. Also going to give Aludog's new custom a try - Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells (Part One) Now that is a song from the past, The Exorcist Theme, now that was one movie that scared the crap out of me, long ago. Later, Terry
  13. Hi, Guys Damn near broke my arm and shoulder trying to pat myself on the back, with this remake of the America tune Horse With No Name - even did well playing it. The advanced version has that special tuning that is a pain in the ass on the Rhythm and Lead path's the Bonus Lead is in E-standard tuning. I used the Wonderwall Acoustic Guitar Tone but it seems kind of flat to me. If any one wants to give it a try here you go. America - Horse With No Name - 1972 Advanced Version Later, Terry
  14. Hi, Guys Well I have the advanced Guitar version of America's - Horse with No Name, Charted and synced. I am really amazed at how well it has turned out so far. Now, just have to find a killer Acoustic Guitar Tone for it. That's where I need everyone's help. Let me know if you have run across a killer Acoustic Guitar tone in your journey's playing tunes in RockSmith. This version deserves the best Acoustic Guitar tone available for sure. I would appreciate any suggestions at all. Later, Terry
  15. Hi, Guys Went through Jethro Tull's - Bungle in the Jungle - 1974 Last night and all tracks seem to be going together real well. Also went through Rory Gallagher's - Road To Hell. Charting the Bass and Vocal Paths for PC Plum's, Rory Gallagher - 7 Pack, just have a minute or two of the Vocal's to line up , and tighten up the Bass sync. some more, and it will be finished. I also started another big project fixing up my America - Horse With No Name Custom - Completely re-charting all tracks. Plan on an advanced Guitar Version and an E-Z Guitar Version. I found some real nice Backing/Practice Tracks, that I will incorporate into them. It's going to be a lot of work but if I can pull it off, I will be happy. The remake of The Sex Pistols - Anarchy In The U.K. Turned out real well and I have gotten some positive feedback on it, so glad to have it finished. Later, Terry
  16. Hi, Guys Latest news on the ZZ Top Tour: The long-running rock band ZZ Top announced Wednesday (April 20) that it will be taking time off for more than a month to allow bassist Dusty Hill to recuperate from a fractured shoulder he sustained before an April 14 show in Lubbock, Texas. According to a statement from the band, Hill tripped on a dimly-lit step while walking to the stage for the show. Since the injury, ZZ Top canceled its April 15 show in Shawnee, Okla. and will not be able to perform again until a date in Frisco, Texas on May 28. Looks like my show date is still scheduled for now. :D Later, Terry
  17. @@manchot66 Hi, Steve I think MTV had a lot to do with the change - Music and looks, wise - That's who I blame. My wife is the parrot head and I'm the Blues rocker, that's what made the line up of Jimmy Buffett / ZZ Top perfect for us. And I have to admit I wore eye liner once in the 80's but that was to an Alice Cooper Concert. :D The drummer in the garage band I was with suggested it - peer pressure. Later, Terry

  19. Hi, Guys I got the Official news from the ZZ Top website: Last Thursday, Dusty Hill was injured at the Lone Star Events Center in Lubbock, Texas that prevented the evening’s ZZ Top performance from taking place. Dusty has subsequently undergone treatment for a fractured shoulder. ZZ Top’s concert dates on the current tour have been postponed through May 7. Carl Stubner, the band’s manager, reported, “Dusty was suited up and ready to go when he tripped on a step while on his way to the stage for the start of Thursday’s show. It was very dark back there and the step – really a half-step – wasn’t lit so there’s no way he could’ve seen it. We found out that others had missed it and stumbled earlier in the day. Maybe some strategic lighting could’ve prevented this, but that’s water under the bridge. What’s important now is that Dusty and his medical team to do what’s necessary for a complete recovery.” Dusty Hill, offered this comment, “My physicians told me that this type of injury is usually associated with contact sports. I’m not sure bass-playing qualifies as such but they’re doing their best to get me back in the game as soon as possible. Thanks to everyone for all the good wishes we’ve received. We’re determined to enjoy a speedy recovery and see you soon!” The following cities have been rescheduled. Please stay tuned for local announcements as well as new tour dates Shreveport, LA Biloxi, MS Lake Charles, LA Chattanooga, TN Augusta, GA Atlanta, GA Sarasota, FL Naples, FL Clearwater, FL Shawnee, OK Frisco, TX is not on the list for May 28, So it looks like, so far it is still an awesome show scheduled. Sorry Ripcord hope the rescheduled date for you is convenient. Later, Terry
  20. @@A51Ripcord Yes I have tickets too - Awe Crap! I was so looking forward to the awesome Jimmy Buffett / ZZ Top line up. Now they will probably replace ZZ Top with Boy George's Culture Club or the Pet Shop Boys, no offence to there fans, just not my type of music. :D Later, Terry
  21. Hi, Guys Well, I had just test run the first of my back to the roots of Rock 'N' Roll Custom, Fats Domino - Blueberry Hill, It turned out really lousy, another one for the back burner. There are slim-pickins on resources for the Golden Oldies I have found out. Thought I would try Jethro Tull - Bungle in the Jungle - 1974 Cat Stevens - Father And Son - 1970 Jim Croce - Bad, Bad Leroy Brown - 1973 I think I found some good resources for them. And plan on doing some heavy research for an awesome Acoustic Tone. @@jhespada and @@PC Plum set up there project sections in the Full Members Resources area, if any one is interested in helping out. 22. @@manchot66 Hi, Steve Saw on the National News this morning that it's confirmed that Axl Rose is going to front AC/DC for the "Rock or Bust" World Tour. I had been hearing rumors the last few weeks that Axl was in the studio with AC/DC in Atlanta, GA. Guns N' Rose's will be here in Dallas, TX Aug 3, 2016. The show I'm going to is the Jimmy Buffett / ZZ Top Concert May 28, 2016. I went to a Guns N' Rose's Concert in the early 90's only because Metallica was the opening Band, nothing against Guns N' Rose's just not a hardcore fan of theirs like I am of, Metallica and ZZ Top and AC/DC and Black Sabbath also. Later, Terry Edit: Should we start calling the Band Axl/AC/DC like we all did for the "Van Hagar" era. :D I still miss Bon/AC/DC, Now I miss Brian/AC/DC. What I didn't know about was Malcolm Young's Retirement in April, 2014.
  23. Hi, PC Plum lol... and I thought it was a mis-spelling and I couldn't figure out what you were trying to say by it. I think a collaboration with you and the other guys at The Classic Rock Coalition will be a fun and interesting project. I recently have begun Charting some very early classic rock & roll tunes, that I feel need to be on CF, they probably won't get much interest on CF, but I'm basically Charting them for myself. Checking out the roots of Rock & Roll, has been really interesting. Later, Terry
  24. @PC Plum I for 1 would be happy to help with the Bass Paths. I have gotten better over the years playin' and charting Bass paths, but I'm still no expert. @@manchot66 and I have recently, been reworking our first batch of charted customs we ever made, I for one couldn't believe all the mistakes in mine. It's seldom I get feedback after posting a CDLC besides a few guys saying Thanks. But I have been recently, hearing from a few CF folks that are seriously liking some of the Customs I have put together and posted over the years. That's what got me motivated to contact you and @@GetTheLedOut and let you guys know there are a lot of us that really appreciate your time and dedication to charting customs, but never say much in posts. I was not very familiar with Rory Gallagher's music in my past, but not long ago @@RSBass had Charted a few of his tunes, and I really enjoyed playing them. Later, Terry
  25. @PC Plum Hi, PC Plum Great to see you stopping by our little corner here at CF. Sorry to hear about the internet ban at work. I think outside interests are good for the morale of the employees, but no one listens to me, especially at work. :D I remember running across your Bob Marley - Stir It UP Custom in 2014, and it got me motivated to chart Bob Marley's Buffalo Soldier. Buffalo Soldier used to be my top Custom with the most downloads, but just recently ZZ Top's Tush and my remake of the Sex Pistols - Anarchy in The U.K. just passed it up. Looking through your list of 261 Customs, I can tell our interests in the types of music are real similar. I have always enjoyed playing your Pink Floyd Customs and that Gilmour's Greatest Solos is Killer. Later, avdocatwork aka: Terry
