  1. Hi, Guys Got the first version of Black Sabbath - N.I.B. finished - and It is really loud on my set up. Let me know if it's too loud on your set-up and I will turn down the volumes if need be. Still need to complete the last 15 seconds of the charting on the Lead, Bonus Lead and Rhythm Paths. Here it is if anyone wants to give it a try. Black Sabbath - N.I.B. L, Bonus L, R, & V. Later, Terry
  2. @@manchot66 Hi, Steve Had a PC weird problem - restarted it and played Iron Man again and it is sounding really nice. I will continue to check it out through your new versions, Nice so far. Enjoying for sure. I ran through the Bass line on Brass in Pocket and it seems to fit nicely, thanks to LaceyB, who I am infatuated with now. I have said before she is one of my hero's from way back in the SA day's. I also played the Allman Brothers - Melissa Lead Path - can tell a change in tone, seems closer now - need to make the Lead Guitar Tone a little hotter, maybe louder and a little more distortion also. But the tone sounds really close. Look at us now - thanks to @@GetTheLedOut we are improving our tone quality of our customs, beyond the norm of others, Thanks, GetTheLedOut for all the tips on making us better Custom Charters. Later, Terry
  3. @@manchot66 Is it April Fools Day already! :D Just kidding looked at the wah pedal sneaker, needs to be wireless for sure, so you can move around with it. First person that trips and kills them self, that product will be off the market for sure. You could go from the Guitar to the Wah sneaker then to a wireless belt-pack with no trouble though. Going to check out the new Ver. of Iron Man for sure. I started on a version of Black Sabbath NIB a while ago plan on a Lead path Guitar 1 and a Bonus Lead Guitar 2 and a Rhythm Guitar Path Guitar 3 also along with Bass Guitar. Got all the Paths entered and I am syncing it now. Defiantly going to use your awesome tones on it, for sure. Later, Terry
  4. @@jhespada Yeah, that other batch of Allman Brothers tunes were posted in 6/18/2015. I haven't tried any of them. I did play Torkk's - Stormy Monday in the past. On Ramblin' Man, I played the Lead and Rhythm Paths, just didn't seem to jive for some reason. Tank-OR played the Bass and said it seams like the Bass line is charted 1 fret higher than it should be, so that would mean the Bass is tuned to Eb. Made a version in Eb on all guitars Lead and Rhythm are not in Eb for sure, haven't tried the Bass Path Eb version yet, to determine if it's right or not. Later, Terry
  5. Hi, Guys Just doing some rework on an old Custom I made, back in March 2015. The Pretenders - Brass In Pocket - 1980. I added LaceyB's Bass Line, I never had a Bass Path charted for this tune. It's in Drop-D for the Bass only, all other Guitars are in E Standard. Here it is if anyone want's to give it a try. The Pretenders - Brass In Pocket - 1980 V 4.0 L, R, B & V And I think I finally got The Allman Brothers Band - Melissa custom updated with @GetTheLedOut Pitch changed audio file set up in it correctly. The Allman Brothers Band - Melissa - 1972 V4.0 L, R, B & V It wasn't easy to get it set up in there - used Wwise the old way and converted the wave to wem then put it into the song folder - then changed the wem file location in the toolkit to the new wem file and saved, then the Wwise converter came up and took care of the rest, I believe. I am going to give it a try tonight and see if I can tell the difference in the tone. Later, Terry
  6. @@GetTheLedOut Thanks, GetTheLedOut I went into Audio city and played around with the Pitch change procedure you described. And it makes sense to me, changing the songs audio pitch slightly so you don't have to go through the hassle of returning the guitar to slightly sharp for these Allman Brothers Customs. Plan on changing out the songs audio files with the ones you provided and update them in the next few days. Later, Terry
  7. @@jhespada Hi, jhespada Dreams sounds OK, but there is something wrong with Ramblin' man. I made an Eb version also but it doesn't sound right either. I am thinking slightly flat or slightly sharp maybe, still trying to figure it out. Any suggestions would help. May just have to put Ramblin' man on the back burner, with all the other unfinished Customs. Later, Terry
  8. @@manchot66 Hi, Steve Played Iron Man a few times and the note charting and guitar tone are excellent. I liked the tip you added to fret the E string between the nut and tuning peg. I was already doing that before I saw the note, learned it that way long ago, but the tip will help out the new guitarists for sure. I slowed down the tune in riff repeater and went through it a few more times to work on the solo's and they are excellent also, Good Job, Dude. Tank-OR and I played Baoulettes version a few days ago to check it out ( And I wasn't very impressed with it). Your version of the lead path is damn near perfect in my opinion. Going to play this one some more today for fun, if the tips of my fingers hold out. All that sliding on the Bass strings, the tips of my fingers start to hurt a bit, I don't mind though, they need to be toughened up anyway. :D Later, Terry
  9. @@Tank-OR I had ad an excellent time also, Shawn. It was awesome going through tons of Customs mostly made by the Classic Rock Coalition Members in the past, that I haven't played for quite a while. looking forward to another meet-up in the near future. Later, Terry
  10. Hi, Guys Well, today's the big day, Tank-OR CRC Bass player is stopping by my place this evening to play some tunes with me. So, soon I will have had the pleasure of playing along with 3 CRC members, @jbroch @@chrixlanier now @@Tank-OR I hope I don't embarrass myself with my mediocre playing skills :D , if I do, oh well, I try. Plan on trying to record us playing a tune if I can get Bandicam or OBS studio working to record the game. Later, Terry
  11. @@manchot66 Hi, Steve Really like the awesome guitar, and nice pup's you got there. Man if you make a version of Iron Man, you most defiantly have to make a 3-pack - War Pigs and Sweet Leaf also. Please :D, Look at me making requests! Early 70's - I had Black Sabbath's debut Album, Sabotage, and Vol. 4 played them constantly. I have been checking out what hasn't been charted for near a year now. Haven't decided to chart any of there great tunes yet Later, Terry
  12. Hi, Guys Got a 3-pack of Customs of The Allman Brothers Band in the final stage. If anyone wants to check them out. I played the Lead and Rhythm paths and they are pretty good, for a first Version, very playable I think. Put them on my new Google Drive, if anyone wants to check them out. The Allman Brothers Band - Melissa - 1972 L. R, B and V The Allman Brothers Band - Dreams - 1969 L. R, B and V The Allman Brothers Band - Ramblin' Man - 1973 L. R, B and V I stayed up damn near all night working on these tunes, they do need work but they are really decent so far, and not too hard to play. Let me know what you think about them if you got some time? Later, Terry
  13. @@jhespada I thought the same about Allman Brothers tunes, that is probably why I hadn't tried to chart one of there tunes. There Dreams tune isn't so difficult either to play on Lead. Starting on Ramblin' Man tonight hoping it goes together as easy as the first two, - to finish up the AB three-pack. Then try my hand at charting some Doobie Brothers - Listen To The Music, Rockin' Down The Highway, Takin' It To The Streets, What A Fool Believes. I will consider myself lucky if I can get 2 or 3 of them charted half decent. @@manchot66 Hi, Steve Thanks, Man. How's your Guitar project going? Do you have that rascal fixed up the way you want it yet? Later, Terry
  14. Hi, Guys Got a first rough version of The Allman Brothers Band - Dreams - 1969 put together. Used the same tones as Melissa. I am so glad I started charting some Allman Brothers tunes. I have really started diggin' playing along with these awesome classics. The Allman Brothers Band - Dreams - 1969 V3.0 L. R, B 7 1/2 minuets of joy on the lead path, for sure. Later, Terry
  15. Hi, Guys Got the final updated versions of my latest customs finished, I think. The Allman Brothers Band - Melissa - V3.5 L. R, B and V Hey, Steve, @@manchot66 I went through the Lead path twice, think I got your suggestions corrected, along with some other corrections. Worked on all Paths, and now this custom is sounding sweet for sure. Hey @@MAGGERS and @@jhespada I think you guys will dig the Lead path on this one, for sure. Hey William @@A51Ripcord, @PC Plum, and @@GetTheLedOut.I think you guys will like it too, but I have seen you guys chart better tunes than this one for sure. Jimmy Buffett - Margaritaville V3.5 L. R, B and V I think I finally got the Bass path on this one charted pretty close. Hey Jerry @@jbroch and Shawn @@Tank-OR and also my Buddy from Germany RSBass @@RSBass, If you got time to check it out, I would like to hear from you awesome Bass players. I played through the Bass path, and did pretty good, but I know all of your Bass skills are a heck of a lot better than mine. Later, Terry
  16. @@jbroch Hi, Jerry Thanks, for checking them out, yeah the Bass files and the other paths were not complete, have been trying to get the ending's completed. I got a bit tired and frustrated working on it so much, I created a file on my desk top and named it Back Burner and through the America - Sandman file in it. May get my mind right to finish it soon, I have spent so much time on that darn song, I hate to just see it sit there. Melissa went together pretty good, I have already went through all the Paths again and have improved it more, and have a newer version for it already, just haven't put it up here yet. Later, Terry
  17. @@manchot66 Hi, Steve Thanks, for the check out on Melissa, I had been working on an updated ver. some yesterday and plan on getting it fixed up better, before i put it on CF later this week. That Bass and lead path on America's - Sandman are really giving me trouble, I have started to re-chart the whole thing over again, and see if I can salvage the tune, and make it good enough to put on CF and not get a bunch of flack from the America fans like me. The Jimmy Buffett concert went real well, It's amazing how many dedicated Parrot head's there are, Grass skirts and coconut bra's everywhere. A few pirates and lot's of shark fin hats. Weather was OK in this area of Texas, It has been Houston, TX getting hammered by heavy rain's and flooding, My younger brother lives right outside of Houston and has been keeping me updated on the unbelievable flooding, he says it is the worst he has ever seen. Later, Terry My Video's of the Jimmy Buffett concert, can't see much, I was pretty far away and it was real dark. The audio isn't too bad though. 18. @@A51Ripcord Hi, William Thanks, I used the Acoustic tones off my Reworked America - Horse with No Name Custom, but those tones are based on Aludog's America - Tin Man Acoustic Tone, with some minor changes. I have been working on a lot of Acoustic tunes lately, I have been liking the sound of them also. @@manchot66 Hi, Steve All that work your doing on Guitars lately, got me headed to the Guitar Center for new strings here in a little bit, might just get a slide and a new Capo too. If you want to sell any of the old pickup's and parts let me know. I have a few Guitars with lots of missing pieces, that I have put off putting together for a long time. Will post some pic's of the two Guitars this weekend. Later, Terry
  19. Hi, Guys I have no idea how I did it, but my test run on my two new customs are sounding sweet. Here they are if anyone wants to give them a try. The Allman Brothers Band - Melissa - V3.0 L. R, B and V Rhythm strumming pattern needs more work, but not too bad. America - Sandman - 1975 V3.0 L. R, B and V Based on LaceyB's Version, all paths still need more work, but a great start on this one. They both still need plenty of work, but they are really playable so far. Later, Terry
  20. @@A51Ripcord Hi, William Great start on the Get A Haircut Custom, I love the tuning and the Guitar Tones on the Lead and Rhythm Paths. Lead Path with solo needs sustains charted, Rhythm Path also needs sustains. May want to make the muted notes through out the tune into muted power chords based on the root note that is muted, if you know what I mean. Loved playing this tune, the volume levels may need a little more adjusting also. I would be honored to play it a lot, through all your adjustments and re-posting here at the CRC. EDIT: - On sustains I usually click on the first note say the 1st Verse then go to the last note in the first verse and hit shift and click the note, then turn the scroll wheel on the mouse to add the basic sustains throughout the section then listen through the section and adjust longer or shorter sustains if needed. On solo's I usually go through it slowly and add sustains note by note. But you probably already do it like that. Later, Terry
  21. @@A51Ripcord Hi, Ripcord Got my first versions of The Allman Brothers Band - Melissa and America's - Sandman, put together and going to test run them soon, and got your George Thorogood & The Destroyers - Get a Haircut Version 2 downloaded and will run through it also. A great triple-shot of some Southern rock - Bluesy tunes that are right up my alley for sure. Later, avdocatwork
  22. @@manchot66 Hi Steve, looking forward to Jimmy Buffett and the Gal's flashing there boobies, for sure. The wife, in the past used to do the flashing also. I will have to keep her supplied with the cerveza's , and see if she reverts back to the day's gone past. :D She is a Jerry Jeff Walker fan also, so I'm sure it's going to be a pretty wild night for sure. Later, Terry
  23. Hi, Guys Well I'm bummed out now, ZZ Top just pulled out of the Concert on the 28th this weekend. Looks like it's Jimmy Buffett and Jerry Jeff Walker now. Jerry Jeff Walker is strongly associated with the progressive ("outlaw") country scene that centered around Austin, TX, in the 1970s. With Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings ect. He did write the song Mr. Bojangles, or you may have heard of his version of "Up Against the Wall Redneck Mother". Well not a fitting replacement for ZZ Top in my Book. Could be worse, Winger, Boy George ect. :D Later, Terry
  24. @ Hi, Fripp Played the Lead and Rhythm paths on the Billy Cobham - Quadrant 4 tune. On the lead path really liked the Guitar tone changes. Very intense tune you have charted there, but I just had to give it a try. And I am really happy I did. Thank you so much for introducing me to some really fine tunes, that I would have passed up otherwise. A monster picking wise, and I probably hit one note out of 12, but who's counting, at least I gave it a few run through's and had fun doing it. Later, Terry
  25. @@manchot66 Hi, Steve I have been meaning to tell you, In my Signature picture below Dimebag Darrell is far left top, and he is playing that Confederate Flag Guitar in the Pic. The others are Stevie Ray of course, Johnny Winter, Albert Collins. Eric Johnson and all of ZZ Top of course too. Got to find room for Buddy Holly, Willie Nelson, Roy Orbison, Don Henley, Steve Miller and Jimmie Vaughan also. Later, Terry
