  1. HI,

    This is my CDLC:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/hhr9ezlbfrewaz3/Sweet-Micky_Pale-Paleou_v1_p.psarc?dl=0

    Things I'm interested in:

    • Why does the bass crackcle? I used a tone from another CDLC which works fine, I don't hear any crackling at all but it does on mine
    • Is this charted too hard? I'm not a fan of open strings so I din't chart many of them, but I find it a bit difficult to play. Not sure if it's the chart's fault or my poor skills
    • Anything that jumps out at you

    Thanks!

    L

P.S. If it matters any, it's a konpa song from Sweet Micky, Haiti's current president.

  2. Gloryhammer 97.47%:

I'm not a metal fan, at all, but I played through a few times to make sure I got a score this week. :)

My comment: I really dislike these types of songs, not because they are metal--though it helps--but because I find that the game doesn't fit the style well. The triplets (is that what they are called?) are very hard to do, and I know I'm doing it wrong, but the game does not penalize me because it can't tell that I'm doing it wrong. Plus, my arm hurts after... :)

  3. I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one that failed the MC song (bass) on the last F****** note! This is discouraging. :(

It's the only song I've played this week. I'm none too happy that I haven't manage to complete it at least three times. :(

I'm supposed to be advanced, but I prefer the MC song and only have time to practice one. Not sure what that does to my ranking, though...

  4. Ok some improvement on Rudolph (92.93):

And on Merry Christmas Everybody (91.41):

I'll work on the Jackson Five another time.

You know, my impression of Tito Jackson has been tainted by Eddie Murphy jokes. After trying to play a few of the early Jackson Five songs, all I can say is: Respect!

Ohio 95.25% (I'm used to playing the version from the Isley Brothers, wonder if that has an effect):

    And even Aerosmith (95.6%):

I tried Somebody Else's Guy, but my score is so low that I won't be putting it up just yet...

So I have a question: If I play these songs again, am I supposed to put a new post for them or edit this one?

    THanks,

  6. So,

I wuz thinking about a feedback/grading system for CDLCs because I got caught with a bad CDLC while in noon stop mode and it really annoyed me.

So instead of a "thumbs up" "thumbs down" thing, How about the ability to rate on specific criteria? Something like:

    - Tracking

    - synchronization

    - music sound

    - DD

or whatever the most common issues are with CDLCs. Ideally, we would do it on a per-track basis, since sometimes one track is fine while others, well, not so much.

I didn't see this in the suggestions, but maybe I didn't look closely enough.

    L
