  1. FYI - I am working on a multi-track, live version of Thunderstruck by AC/DC right now. Hoping to have a cdlc for the full songs and then separate files for No-Lead, No-Rhythm, No-Bass tracks that will allow players to play those parts and only hear their instrument with the rest of the band.

In other words, the particular track will be muted. For example, No-Lead will have the lead guitar track muted out so you can hear all your imperfect notes, if you are like me :).

  2. @avdocatwork @manchot66 - Im glad you guys brought up the Flying V. I always wanted one but didnt want to shell out the cash for it. So, you recommend this guy's guitars? You feel it performs better than a Gibson? Any info you can provide would be great. Thanks

Never listened to UFO before but will try and test some of those songs soon.

  3. Im looking for recommendations for great tones that I can assign to the tone slots.

I would like tones that can go well with many songs since sometimes the default tones that come with a sing are not great.

I know this is tough since all sings have different tones but if you have some favorites let me know. To cover a lot of ground I currently have a clean, lead and OD tone assigned to the 3 slots. Is it possible to have more than 3 assigned tones?

If it helps I play mostly classic rock and brit rock like oasis.

For the JW solos and any really hard solos, that is the time where you close your eyes and play your pentatonic scales in the right box and hope for the best :)

Also, thanks for getting me back into the CCR mindset. Born on the Bayou is one of my all time favorite RS songs to play and I dl'd your 3 pack and will give them a go soon.

Search and Destroy is a really powerful tune and really rocks. The song as a whole isnt too hard once you find that groove. The one impossible part for me is one small section of the solo. You will know it when you see it....

  5. If you have generated a psarc file you would just need to throw it in your dlc folder and start the game. But you would need an arrangement or else there is no path to select in the game.

If you get a newer version of toolkit, you don't need to use wwise as the toolkit does that for you. You just need to make sure wwise is installed on your machine

  6. @RSBass

I just played JJF on rhythm and lead. I was right - the solo kicked my arse.

Rhtyhm I actually found tougher than lead! Here are my thoughts:

Sync - Pretty spot on. I did not notice anything lagging or speeding up.

Audio - Audio was loud but in a good way. Quality seemed to be higher than standard mp3 but I could be wrong. Can you tell me how you created the audio and if it is better than mp3?

Tone - Tone seemed pretty good. JW's tone seems to use some more bass and has a bit more bite to it but the tone you provided is really good. Im not a technical tone person so its hard to explain it from a technical sense.

Overall this is an awesome cdlc and one I will be playing for a while. Goal is to get to 85% on lead!

  7. Time for my tribute to Johnny Winter

From the third sudio album "second winter" 1969 the B. Dylan cover

    Johnny Winter - Highway 61 revisited v0. 9 L B

Tuning for Lead is open D

Tuning for Bass is E Standard

It's hard to sync, but now succeeded.

I think, it's better to play with Bottleneck and heavier strings or extra modified bottleneck-/slide guitar.

Is anybody here to play and test this tune?

The second Song is a Stones Cover from Album "Live Johnny Winter And" 1971

    Johnny Winter - Jumping Jack Flash v0.9 L R B

Dude.....I can't believe you have this version of JJF!!! I wanted to chart either this version or Frampton's live version. I will give this a go sometime soon. The solo will probably be nuts but I'm looking forward to it.

  8. Toolkit is no longer using Audio library for conversions.  So there is no potential for 44 vs 48 kHz issues.  Last time the problem turned out to be there were too many audio files in the work folder and the one the toolkit used was bad.  Make sure you only have main audio ogg/wav in EOF project folder an no other leftover audio files.

I removed the unnecessary audio files and this worked. Thanks.
