Would be nice if you guys had a last updated filter too. As far as I know (which is probably very little), there is no way to check if it is updated other then the file name. I think everyone would rather update a shoddy CDLC then trash it all together.

There is one...? It's the third to last option, shoved between platforms and user. If it's not there, click "search settings" up top and make sure the option is checked.

Damn it, I hadn't noticed this great feature!

    Thanks.

  2. Yeah, "approved songs" is a good thing but as you said it takes time it is subjective etc...

I just want to say again to contributors (God bless them), please try your creation at least one time before posting...

You spent several hours (days?) to create them, you can spend 10 minutes to try it, can you?

True story: I've seen "creators" which hasn't the rocksmith game.

I know that J S Bach was deaf but come on guys!...

    ATTENTION!

This is NOT going to a separate section! There will be three filters - approved, unapproved, and in progress. The default will be to show all customs, but you can filter if you would like to see only approved customs. It will be integrated within our current search. Hopefully this clears a few things up for everyone :)

    It sounds good to me!

  4. I'm afraid we have here 2 visions of the purpose of an "approved section".

On the one's hand: a kind of flattery for the ego of creators. ("I made the perfect full custom with everything like UBI...")

On the other hand: something to help people to enjoy the rocksmith experience. ( "I've  try to make a good and usefull custom that people can download and use...")

That's why my idea of 3 "levels" of customs could please everyone: amature, advanced, and hardcore creators... and of course players ;).

  5. The fact that a song will not be approved doesn't mean it's a bad custom.

It should only tell people that it's not approved yet...

Being approved is an honnor but not be isn't a shame.

Probably, too difficult or confidential songs won't be approved... so what?

These songs are for advanced players, they could try it themselfs and be aware if it is ok or not...

I think that approved section shoud tell to beginners or intermediate players "you can download this one, you wont loose your time in learning something that is not good or not true or not complete"

I think that a good custom with only guitar or bass should be approved. I'm not sure that the obligation to transcribe all the parts of a song is a good thing.

  6. Hello,

I think the Simpsons theme by Green day is an easy, fun to play, well done DCLC by kdobbs74.

Seven nation army by The white stripes (CDLC by Maveth) is another one, according to me.

I was wondering... could we change "beginner" to "easy"?

    I would be more realistic...

A beginner can't play any song in one week.

A beginner is someone who play the "smoke on the water" main riff, on one string, with one finger, all day long, in front of a mirror...
