F$%ken chord recognition issues :angry:. Feels like i'm loosing 3 or 4% just from the random chord misses. Been trying all week to hit the magic 100% but those damn high e 17 bends get me most times......well that and a few brain fades. Nice one! I'm struggling to push through the 90% barrier so i took a similar approach.I recorded a playthrough in RR at full speed so i could determine where all my misses are occurring. That quick hammer on and pull off on the A string usually gets me, along with the chord switch in the chorus. So I've put a bit more RR into these sections.....as yet it hasn't paid off...grrr.

Really expected to do better than this. Again had massive issues with chord recognition. Maybe time for an upgrade (good tradesmen always blame their tools :P). Guitar is a Yamaha Pacifica 012 which by all accounts is a great first guitar. Chords sound fine through the amp, i've played each string of the chord individually to confirm i'm not muting anything i shouldn't be. In the end i found strumming up near the single pickup next to the start of the neck gave the most consistant result....i got an extra 2% just from this, but still missing some of the chords. Purely just from re-tuning after playing some standard E tunes. I don't think i played any better than my previous scores. Man i'm having a hard time with this one. Although most of the issues are related to 'operator error', i'm also having massive issues with simple chord recognition - namely that C5/G in the chorus and that weird F/A about 3/4 through.
