Those palm mutes at the start look oh so easy, but i just can't seem to get it right consistently. It seems like the right way to pick this is to start with an up on the D7 then down on the same note, down on the G9 and up on the same note, then repeat. This sound right?? Struggling with the int lead song this week. Having more fun with Big Gun. Just a little jealous of Rodman going to the AC/DC concert. I booked tickets for my son and I (he's 10 and loves them!) a few weeks ago but have to wait till December to see them :(

@@lostpapers, Mortalo beat me to it. I'm far from experienced but there is no magic bullet. It's all about practice. Practice develops muscle memory. JustinGuitar has some good lessons, one of which relates to chord change practice. If you are having trouble with a particular change, practice changing to and from this chord over and over for a minute as fast as possible, counting how many changes you can do. Repeat the next day trying to better your previous count. Kind of boring but this is the only way to condition your fingers to move where you want.
