1. When you open the project in eof you can see the markers at the beginning of the chart.

In order to remove them just open Beat/Events/All Events and push two times the button "delete".

Save the project and repack the cdlc with the newly generated arrangement.

  2. Hi, i downloaded your project.

The issue with the preview is due to the fact that you had it made automatically by the toolkit. It isn't a great deal, you can make a good preview manually using i.e. GoldWave.

About the problem with eof, the first thing I noticed that you didn't make sections, but the first beat has one. Try to remove it ( the section marker called "outro" and the phrase marker called "tabs by ..."

Note that if you don't make sections the riff repeater will  not work.

Also don't forget ti add 3 seconds of silence at the beginning.

Hope this helps, don't exitate to ask if you need.

  3. Hi, I'm a bassist, low intermediate level I think.

I am a fan of led zeppelin since I was a young boy ( now I'm 51 ) and I started playing bass, almost from zero, two years ago.

Of course, soon I tryed to play my favourite songs on my bass, but i got frustrated, 'cause I found they are very tough to me.

I gave up the idea and if I hear the name of JP Jones I feel scared.

Can someone advice me about a list of songs from LZ starting from the most easy?

  4.

If We Do A Database, everybody could listen to 5 songs/Days & Report Here the Matching Between The Numbers & The Real Songs Names.

I'll Guess them as a Blind Test (More Fun) A Smartphone & shazam app can be Helpfull to identify the Songs otherwise.

The File Size told if it's a preview (500Kb)

    Or The Song (2MB-7MB)

    4621782 3 Doors Down - When I'm Gone

    6997569 Preview: ?

7081554 The Knack - My Sharona

    8718375 Megadeth - Public Enemy No. 1

9928188 Preview: The Offspring - Self Esteem

(List Sorted By Names to keep the sort order).

That would be good, but the matter is that removing the unwanted songs from the songs.psarc doesn't prevent 'em from showing in the list: you will not find anymore album art, neither preview, but the song still takes its place in the list and you can read the title, author, year etc. Moreover in some of my attempts the game freezed when I put the cursor on the "ghost" songI  guess somewhere it must be wrote which songs the game must load and where they are and I am almost sure the place is a file called pkgconfig.ini, packed in the static.psarc. Unfortunately that ini file is  encrypted ( I guess ), and I am not able to read it no way.Any idea?

Yes, I caught that. We'd all like to be able to shorten the list. I'm suggesting that since, after seven months, no one's figured this out, you might want to look into workarounds.

Ok, seems that my head is a little stone-like, anyway I REALLY want to reach my goal.I've been walking on the snow with my feet naked till Russia, the place where the guys eat bread and hacking, but neither there I found an answer, so...should I find an alternate workaround? There is no alternate solution to me, I dream a "learn a song" list made of a dozen of songs I REALLY like and think are useful for my learning.Otherwise Rocksmith is to me just a messy wonderful music game.Time is by my side

  6. hi everybody

yesterday I started to convert some must-have cdlc from rs1 that I had downloaded from SA and never had time to play, so I almost forgot about them.

well... the first one came out like a charm, let's say in 15 min of work, but then, trying to make others  I started having a stupid issue that is driving me crazy: when I import in eof the bass xml from the unpacked .dat it result in a 6-string shape, as if I was in a guitar track.

I tryed to make the first one again and the issue is still there... don't know what to do!

I'm sure the solution is in front of my eyes, but I can't see it. Please help me!

Edit   Solved thanks to raynebc: "Track>Pro Guitar>Set number of frets/strings"

  7. need some help please guys

my rocksmith was playing fine then i had an issue with my graphic card so now running with on board graphics

anyway rocksmith was getting as far as the white screen the the plectrum in the right corner and wont go any further, tried reinstalling and no joy

evenutally i have reinstalled windows and rocksmith but still stalling and going no further at that screen

In order to run rocksmith you need a good graphic card and the proper driver installed. Most of the times on board graphics don't reach the minimum requirement. It's not clear to me if you have a faulty graphics card, so your pc is using its onboard one or if it's just a matter of driver.Besides, are you on a desktop or a notebook?

Let me know, so I can help you

  8. Hi everybodyI haven' t read all the posts ( too many and then English isn't my first language ) somaybe I repeat what other already said, anyway...Am I in favor of creating an " approved " section?I vote yesPartly because this can be a sort of gratification for the creators, butmostly as a tool to distinguish works that is worth to download, considering that by now the number of cdlcin the data base is growing like mushrooms after the rain: I'd like to know that a dlc ishigh-quality before I download it.But...If we choose to approve only dlcs which have all the arrangements, thenI think we have to consider some other things.I am a beginner bassist, never played a guitar neither I think I will, so to me a dlc isgood if it contains a good bass, no matter if just the bass. I guess it is vice-versa forsome guitarists. What I mean to say is thatwe should pay attention to distinguish high-quality works fromthose other ones that still need to be worked onHigh quality to me means that a custom -is as accurate as possible  ( in my little experience I saw that     many tabs we can found in the net are not so accurate and need to be corrected) -has the riff repeater and dd working (as a beginner I'm not able to play most of the dlc with no-dd )  -is playable with no issues ( like freezes, crashes...) I propose: let's distinguish good works from the bad ones firstly, then the completed goodones can be candidated to approval.I also propose that who made a dlc with one or more parts  missing can decide to tag itas an " open project ", making all his project files ( tabs, .eof files...) available toany other member who wants to complete his work. Then, if the dlc is completed and judged good it can be candidate to approval as a multi-author one.I hope my English is understandable

  9. Well, I feel as if the topic kind of sums it up, but, is it possible in any way to remove the original/legit songs off of the song list in the game?

I tried something like you say: I temporarily moved the file containing all of the original songs ( if memory serves me correctly it is a big file called songs.psarc, contained in the main folder od the game ) to a different location.

My goal was to remove from the original list all the unwanted songs to keep it shorter.

The result was the songs album arts still showing themselves in game, but as inactive and If , running the songs list, I stopped for a little while on one of them, when normally the audio preview is played, the game freezed.

I tried also to unpack the file to see what I could do, but it resulted in a very large number of files, most of which were difficult to identify due to their name was not the name of the song but a number.

So I gave up ( at the moment )
