It's not a problem, but I'm confused too. When I look at previous scores posted by others, my lines are definitely thicker. Anyone got any ideas?

@ Just went back into RS and when I sit at the menu in this song it's doing that flickering orange bar thing that sometimes happens with certain CDLC's. Don't know why it does that.
Anyway, this is what it looks like when I'm playing the song. Or at least what it looks like when I'm about to miss the notes

@@diddie17 I can't add you to the leaderboard with that score yet. Please make sure that the song is completely maxed in difficulty. I am not sure if this one turns all purple but it should. If you can manage it please play it in score attack hard to be sure that you are playing the full song. If I am mistaken and this one doesn't have DD please disregard and I will update the score when I check on the song tonight.
@ I don't think there is any DD on that song. I'll go and check it myself now in case I'm doing something silly (I could well be  ), but I'm playing it as it was downloaded from the link and I don't recall any DD.
Edit - Just checked previous scores by other people in the thread in LAS mode rather than Score Attack and they are all flat orange lines too, so I don't think there is any DD.

Getting a bit better :-)

If you're talking about the song selection list just find an empty spot under someone else's name and double click the box and write your name in.Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
im trying to get onto the leaderboards. gonna read the FAQ again to see if im doing something wrong.
does entering in the song list put you on the leaderboards, and if so i dont see any blank spots available
You don't have to get your name onto the list. If you haven't done already then just post a screenshot of a qualifying score of the song which class you want to play that week and @ will add you to the list when he does the leaderboard update. Usually happens once a day.
The scores are all updated by @ mostly daily too. Don't ask me what we do when Krazyone is on holiday :-)

Still can't make my fingers work quickly enough, but a small improvement
-
Late in this week and struggling with it. My hands just can't move quickly enough :-(
-
@@MightyMouse - The beginners song this week isn't for me. I'm ok either way though. If you want to suggest a change then I'll be happy to have a go at something else, otherwise I'll probably try to have a go at the intermediate instead.

Some improvement, but credit to @@Smile. I watched his video and got enough from it to gain a percent or two. Thanks Smile

Unfortunately, I may not be able to make an attempt this week either. I was in a near fatal car accident last Tuesday morning and now I'm stuck in a neck brace for the next two weeks. I was fortunate that I had my seatbelt on or the officer said I would have died. Anyway enough about that. I hope I'll be able to get well enough to play this week. The song list looks amazing. Good luck everyone.
Glad to hear you got through it, although by the sound of things not without some damage. Look after yourself and just take it easy. The guitar will be there when you feel up to it..

A small improvement. Got to say I'm enjoying this one though. It's definately a fun song to play
-
I'm struggling with this one, but I'll keep going and try to improve :-)

@@diddie17 I've only played for 4 months so I really am a beginner. At 43 years old I think I have lost most of the dexterity in my left hand which is why I prefer songs without solos :) Doubt I could give you any tips :)
@ I always keep playing previous weeks songs, I've had 100% on working class hero and today I got 43 streak on Sgt Pepper but when I look at intermediate songs they always look far too difficult for me! One week I might take the armbands off and jump in the deep end :)
@@Collision - I've been playing a little longer, not much. Maybe 7 or 8 months and am also 43 :-)
I have some issues with no feeling in my first finger of my left hand after a sport accident when I was younger. Minor really, but a bit of an inconvenience when playing guitar, so I don't really expect too much, but I play for fun anyway :-)

I know I'm usually the first person to spit the dummy because the beginners songs are too hard :) .... but after a few plays I actually believe this week I could get 100% (work permitting).
@@Collision - It's interesting how different songs work for different people. Whilst last week I found it easy, on the first half dozen plays I can't get over 70% this week.
Got any tips for me
-
90th play through this song and still can't put it all together...maybe by Friday!!!
@@Collision - So close though! Come on, you can do it :-)
Which bit are you struggling with?

here my first score for this week
i think i can go up to 90 % maybe :)
@@Smile - You've inspired me to give it a go. I'll give the Queen song a go tonight. Hopefully I won't embarrass myself too much

@@Collision - I'm sorry, I regret saying this song is easy now. I'm sorry it got you down. In my view the whole point of this championship is to encourage people, not just through seeing yourself get better, but also seeing those around you get better.
I've been watching @@Smile get better over the last few weeks and it has pushed me to work harder too.
I was absolutely bottom last week though, some songs work for me some don't, but it shows me where I can improve. I really suck at anything that requires fast pick work like last week, and so I really need to work on the speed.
This week it took me 12 goes to get 100% where as @ did it on the first attempt.
Keep going, it will be worth it when you can see yourself and others around you improving.

Probably a bit on the easy side this week, I'll have a go at the intermediate.
-
Not having too much fun with this one, I can't seem to get the notes to reliably register. I'll keep trying
-
Hopefully I'll be able to post a score later in the week. I had an issue yesterday where a chisel missed the wood it was supposed to be on and got my fingertip instead. I need to give it a couple of days to heal up.
I did have a quick go at come as you are yesterday though and just could not play quickly enough. The quickest I could play the main riff was between 90 and 95%.
When the finger is a little more healed I'll have another go.
-
@@diddie17 congratulations :) ready for next song ? gl hf
@@Smile Thanks, but I think you were the real winner. I'm not sure how the scoring system works, but your score was much higher than mine. I suspect you were more accurate in your timing.
I've never played the Nirvana track, so it should be interesting. I'm really enjoying the challenge though.
Good luck to all!

@@Smile Great job! I knew you could do it

Finally got there. It took some work, lots of one note misses  My first ever 100% on a song!
Come on Smile, you can do it!

@ Great to hear everything is clear. Must be a relief. Just give it some rest and it should come right.
