I'm sorry for reporting this late after the report, but have you used the feature before the last update came out?
Icons are stored in cache.psarc, which once extracted by CFSM, isn't extracted again, unless you delete CFSM folder in "My Documents" folder, so if you have used it, it most likely used the existing copy (which doesn't contain the new icons), so that's where it goes wrong.
So you should try to delete SongPacks folder in My Documents/CFSM folder and try again. Please report back!

You have to reapply the fix with "add DD" enabled in order to correct the issue (you'll need atleast version 1.2.6.9)
-
Go to Repairs tab in CFSM, press "Remaster all CDLC ..." button and reparing process will start ( it can be fairly lenghty, depending on the amount of songs you have).
-
It looks like they packed the new executable, so debugging the Mac version without dumping is a no-go for us Windows peeps. :(
So, good job @@Mimamau!

Start Steam, if it doesn't start updating automatically, start the game and wait for it to update.
After that, download the DLL file from the link in the red box on top of the page and put it in your Rocksmith folder.

Hey!
It looks like I'm a "bit" late, anyway: you should fill out this form: link , so that unleashed will be able to contact you, give you some info & that stuff... :)

The download link does not work :(
Try this one instead: https://sourceforge.net/projects/rocksmithtotab/files/latest/download

These are most likely the official songs (songs that came with RS2014 & old RS packs), so you will have to disable those as well from the "Song Packs" tab because they are not included in the "Unsorted" list together with "normal" songs. :)
-
Disable all unsorted songs and start the game normally (or use the button in the Setlist Manager tabs)
-
You will have to enable the setlist(s) that you want to use and disable the rest of them.
-
Are you using (or trying to use) the beta or the normal version of the app ? (If it's beta, it should say so on the top) If it's not beta, you should try that version first.
If that won't work, you should try deleting "CFSM" folder in My Documents folder.
If that won't work either:
-if you don't already know the path to the Rocksmith folder, open "This PC" and type Rocksmith2014, then it should point you to the location of Rocksmith, copy the path of Rocksmith and copy it/take a note of it somewhere
-go to the same CFSM folder again, find "cfsm.Settings" file in the folder and open it
-find "RSInstalledDir" and replace the path that is between "" with the one you found in one of the previous steps
-try again, if it still doesn't work, report back

This one should work (it's the beta version, but that shouldn't worry you)

Why exactly do you need it to play it like a mp3 file ?
CF Song Manager can play songs without extracting the psarc or w/e like that and you can also skip to desired seconds in the song, but I'm not sure if that's enough. ( If you don't already have it, you can find download link here: http://customsforge.com/topic/24255-customsforge-song-manager-cfsm-beta-release/ )

I have a screenshot saved as a .png and copied the error into a .txt file but I'm not sure how to upload them here, tips?
Either copy the text here and wrap it in code tags ( icon, near the picture icon) or upload image button (you might have to upload it to img.ur or a similar site)

Worked great! I now have every song tagged except for Bring 'Em Back Alive by Audioslave, for some reason that song specifically causes an error. After unchecking it I got through the rest just fine.
Could you please copy the error message and post it here so we can investiagte the error ? Thanks!

Any ideas why it gets through 146 tracks and stops? I'm able to close it and start it again and get through another 146 at a time but I've got like 2200 songs so this is gonna take me a little while. Awesome tool though, I've been wanting something like this so I really appreciate it.
That's definetly not an expected behaviour as it shouldn't stop until it's done.
I'm glad that you like it, tho. I'd like to suggest you to use CustomsForge Song Manager because we implemented the same tagger in it, but it should work as intended and you'll also be able to do other modifications such as renaming all your songs with same pattern, etc. (You should download the beta version, because the main version is quite old now...)
Will do that when I get home, I did not know it had been integrated into the Song Manager, thanks for the tip!
Yup, it's there, but it's not very obvious:

@@Rodman Is chance to add function for check duplicates (enabled cdlc) ?
ps. State CFSM still yet not satisfactory and convenient for using and seems never will finished.
Adding that to RSRoadie would take a while and I don't think that it would be worth it.
It would be nice from you to tell us what you would like to see in CFSM... You didn't reply after cozy added new features to Setlist Manager, so we don't know what exactly you want. Also, make sure that you have the latest Beta version.
-
You'll have to add the song yourself, so follow these steps:
1) Go to the place where you installed the app (probably located in Program Files folder on the partition where your OS is installed),
2) Find "RocksmithToolkitLib.SongAppId.xml" file and open it
3) Add the AppID for "South Park Theme" to the file by adding this line:
<SongAppId Version="RS2014" AppId="369766" Name="Primus - South Park Theme" />
between the latest SongAppId element ("James Gang - Funk #49") and "", so it will look likesomething like this: http://i.imgur.com/phM1oGJ.png
4) Save the file (you might have to save it on another place and maually replace it with the new file because of access permissions)
5) The new songs should show on the AppID list :)
-
Ok thanks. I'll do that.
I'm going to check this properly later today/tomorrow, but I'll mention it already. I think there might be some songs in the 'setlist manager' tab show the wrong tuning. For example I noticed "Red Flag - Billy Talent" shows me that it's in Estandard tuning in the manager, but in the game it shows up correctly as dropD.
I also disabled all tunings different from Estandard for the RS Main Tracks in the 'song packs' tab, but they still show up in-game. Any idea to why that's not working?
It could be that you forgot to press "Save" button after disabling the songs, so the actual Song Pack still remains unchanged.
As for the tuning problem, we'll have to investigate it. Does it show the song tuning as E Standard in Song Manager tab, too ?
-
Thanks for explanation, but there anyway, i not see any functions for copy cdlc, only move.
Do you have the last best version (v1.1.3.2) ? "Add selected song(s) to setlists" now copies a song to setlist, instead of moving it.
-
After some testing, we (cozy mainly) noticed that RS doesn't care about duplicates, as long as they are in separate folders, so the check that you mentioned in the last post isn't needed. And now you can copy songs to setlists (and that is what you wanted in this post: http://customsforge.com/topic/23507-duplicate-issue-with-disabled-a-songs/?do=findComment&comment=193737 , I think)
"Remastered" column posibility?

Okay, a new version is up :)
