4) CFSM>SongManager>Repairs>
>Add Dynamic Difficulty DD (selected)>Overwrite DD (checked)

CDLC is all fixed ... auto-magical :)
Note: If you ever find yourself in a CFSM continuous exception loop, just manually delete MyDocumements/CFSM and restart CFSM.

@Penfolds5
1) Then manually delete the MyDocuments/CFSM folder and try again.
2) If it #1 doesn't work then try disabling your AV and Windows Defender.3) If #1 & #2 don't work then completely remove CFSM, do #1 and #2, and then download and reinstall the latest version of CFSM.
4) If #3 doesn't work then you are just out of luck.- 1

@Cookie_Munster Delete MyDocuments/CFSM and perform a clean install of CFSM. Looks like you may have deleted tagger templates.

@@hooolian Screen shot plz and more detail as I am not able to reproduce your issue. Are you using the column filter dropdown to search or the Search 'Type characters to search for then hit return' box? Did you remember to press 'Enter' after you input a search?

@@Penfolds5 Thanks for the video. CFSM has given you all the info you should need to get it running. See the following time sections in your video and re-read the CFSM popup messages and the Log messages for how to solve the issue you are having.
https://youtu.be/2E1WDBAWyUM?t=41 Read the message. Did you try changing your display to 100%? (You only need to do this if your display does not align correctly.)https://youtu.be/2E1WDBAWyUM?t=56 Read the LOG. Is CFSM installed on D or E drive? CFSM thinks your My Documents/CFSM is on E: Is this correct? Is CFSM installed on the same drive?
https://youtu.be/2E1WDBAWyUM?t=60 Read the message. You pressed 'No' so you told CFSM not to auto fix the error by deleting My Documents/CFSM. Did you manually delete My Documents/CFSM? If not, then you are putting yourself into a continuous error loop.
Let us know if you get it working. -

@@Shakey64 so then these instructions should work if you follow them exactly.
after you reinstall fresh steam validated rocksmith make sure that you can play dlc. many mac users have had issues with cdlc that are corrupt after the update. i would recommend that you start with only dlc in the dlc folder and go from there.

@@JazzMasterJ have look here and here second to last paragraph. not exactly answer to what you are asking but a couple of options to get tools working if you want to stay with Catalina.

@@Shakey64 Go to the Apple Menu and select "About this Mac".
what type of processor does it say you have?
To check if an app is 32-bit or 64-bit, from the Apple menu, choose About This Mac, then click the System Report button.
what version of rocksmith does it say is install (64 or 32 bit and version info)?
did you perform default or custom installation of rocksmith?

the best thing to do would be to contact the charter to fix their cdlc so that everyone could benefit
the cdlc file needs to be renamed before attempting repair because the use of '{' '}' in the file naming effectively prevents repair.use the latest build of the toolkit to regenerate the cdlc, or use CFSM>Repairs>Prevent Multitone Exceptions
either updated app can now auto fix this type of multitone exception.- 1
-
you provided a link to: FamilyJules7x_Twinrova-Legend-of-Zelda-Ocarina-of-Time_v1_p.psarc
this cdlc was produced with version 2.6.0.0-4174fc7b of toolkit
cdlc song info is missing the version number
cdlc xblock is valid
confirmed cdlc is repairable with cfsm
if you come across the rare cdlc that cfsm can not repair then you should use the toolkit to re-author the cdlc (toolkit>cdlc creator>import package, then fix any issues, finally >regenerate)
in future please provide a copy of cfsm debug.log if you receive a xblock exception
-
plz dm me link to your copy of original non-repaired cdlc
i dl cdlc from ignition and get same error in cfsm as you do
so have you tried doing what cfsm error says to do to fix the multi tones error in rhythm arrangement?http://www.mediafire.com/view/ft6g09vr9mxi9w0/CFSM_Error_3.png/file
-
so is the toolkit error thrown when you import package or when you generate?
what does cfsm show in the toolkit version column? in other words is this a very old cdlc which maybe missing preview audio? -
@@KJParsley based on the original error there appears to be an issue with the audio file or path.
clear the toolkit audio path and reset it to your main audio file.
if you still receive an error then make sure that the project folder only contains a single main audio file and no other audio files- 1

CFSM 1.5.7.2 Build has a bulk Auto Adjust CDLC Volume tool that is in beta testing (POC) if you whant to give it a try.
- CDLC auto volume adjustment POC (Proof of Concept)See CFSM>Song Manager>Custom Mods>Auto Adjust CDLC Volume
This feature is still in POC testing phase so be sure to report your results/settings to the Developers.
Be sure to read and follow the tooltip popups and the Log messages.

If you deleted the MyDocuments/CFSM folder and are still having problems then try reinstalling CFSM by manually downloading, manually deleting all old installation files in 'Programs' and then reinstall.
Note: if you are Windows 10 be sure to check that Defender and your AV are not blocking CFSM.This could also explain it. Did you remember to hit enter after entering the search?
1.5.5.8 - improved SongManager toolstrip item [Clean 'dlc' Folder] - modified CFSM Search features to run after the user hits ENTER - updated OfficialSongs.json (used for checking CDLC/ODLC replacement detection)
-
@@TheZero3546 Go to the 'My Documents' folder. Delete the 'CFSM' folder and all subfolders. Restart CFSM.
What search had you entered that cause the original problem? -
It would figure, wouldn't it, that there are two versions of that song on Ignition. So which charter was the CDLC by Slaughter or Liquid? The one by Liquid is very old and my guess would be that it probably does not have a preview audio. So when you re-author that one with the latest version of the toolkit it picks this condition and auto generates the preview audio for you.
CFSM does not auto generate the preview audio during repair if IIRC.
DDC.exe Cli giving different output than the toolkit?
in Rocksmith Remastered
Posted
@Rbby258 You can easily use the toolkit to remove DDC from any CDLC.
1) Open the toolkit
2) Open the DDC tabmenu
3) Click on the Ramp-up Model combobox and select 'ddc_dd_remover'
4) Under the Package or Arrangement XML File, click on Add and select the CDLC you want to remove DDC from ...
5) Click the Remove DD button
But you already know that. Can't answer why the two methods are different. Check with Chlipouni (the author of DDC) if you still want to know. If you are using the same settings and same version of DDC then it should be the same.
