Try setting latency one notch up in the game menu, in the audio engine settings, to see if "strange signals" are going away. Maybe also try to set the asio buffer of your Focusrite interface on a higher value.

This cannot work with ASIO if enableASIO=0 and if ASIO.Output Driver= blank. I would set : [Config] EnableWasapiOutputs=0 EnableWasapiInputs=0 EnableAsio=1 and [Asio.Output] Driver=Focusrite USB ASIO and see what happen.
