  1. I’ve rewritten it out, hopefully a bit clearer. “I'm looking someone who can help me out with this issue. Since I upgraded to an MacBook M1 with ARM-processer one of my software patches doesn't work (worked on intel). All newer Macs with ARM technology (M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max) are no longer functional for playing Rocksmith 2014 CDLC on the Monterey OS . My guess is that the patch needs to be re-written (but that is only my guess because I don't know a lot about programming ). I'm looking for someone who can help me out. There are actually a number of us who are hoping for a fix. You can find the patch in the attachment! Thank you!” Hope this helps! And I hope we can get rocking!
  2. I had this issue as well. If you verify the Rocksmith files on Steam, it fixed the crashing issue for me. Steam Library > right click Rocksmith 2014 > Properties > Local files > Verify integrity of game files This allowed the game to open properly for me. Now I've gotten as far as choosing a CDLC, tuning, then it pauses indefinitely because they haven't patched it yet for the new Mac chipset on Monterey. Praying for a hero to patch this for us folks with the new computers. Also, a note on the 'unidentified developer' topic, they explain how to get around that at the bottom of the page for the 'CDLC how-to' on Mac.
  3. Hoping for a fix for this soon. I just got my new M1 Max MacBook Pro and was mostly looking forward to it being a portable Rocksmith Rig. Followed the directions above, I see the cdlc songs in the list, but the game just can't load the cdlc songs. But regular game songs and legit dlc purchased songs work as well.
