im horrible at explainign this lol.

How do you... I mean what is....WTF! You must love tuning that. Thanks for the chuckle!
its called dedication. I WILL not let broken strings get in my way for getting CDLC's up

Both the XMl and teh SNG have to match in order for it to be like that. I dont know how EOF works but it dosnt work like that.

something is not right about me

What doesn't work? If you define a chord's name as "Adim" in EOF, that is the name that is written for it in the XML.
sorry it kinda works but it isnt subscripted, so its all smashed together
-
no
@@Shinyditto12 Couldn't you do that in EoF then? Select the chord, press N and give it the appropriate name? Or doesn't that work with diminished chords or chords that use special characters?
Btw, just fyi, in your picture there are "F7maj(no5)" chords but the usual way to spell that would be "Fmaj7(no5)" because "D7" would imply a dominant seventh chord, so putting the "maj" before the "7" makes it more easily recognizable.
it dosnt work actually.
-
oh it works by just editing the names just like you would like on a text file. say you wanted a Adim.....you would just go and put Adim as the display chord and chord name part in the xml. simple
-
I think that there should be a pause on implementation, at least until some views are in...
I agree with firekorn, customs should reflect official songs as much as possible. And in fact, on viewing the screen, I think that that layout would hinder first time accurate play and be detrimental to the RS custom experience.
Sorry @@Shinyditto12 :(
Great idea and I don't think that would work for most players in game.
High five to Plum for making a valid "that that" though
im lost, why wouldnt it work?

ok , so you have to chaneg the chord names in the XLM and then using the GUI convert the xlm to the SNG. I cant show any screens ingame cuz my e and b string broke but thats how it would go about
-
actually scracth that i did find a awy to do it. You edit both the XLM and the SNG and it will display them right
-
well that stinks
-
from looking at the arrangment files. it looks like they just name it like dim and just do (no 5) and stuff.
-
Is there any way to add like the o and the (no5) thing and stuff in the chord names?
-
So....i would like to ask a favor if you all could.
Ima be working on doing and reworkin my old CDLC that dont have the DD..........which is pretty much all of them...and im saving money to by a new bass neck.
So while im doing that, i got a offer to do No Quarter...the Tool one....but the tabs i got were..........eh.
So while ima kinda doing other stuff, i was wondering if any of you could make one for me, just a bass and guitar one. Knowing that ive done a shit tone of stuff here, its like....a small thing to ask -
@@Chlipouni - Ah, that cache thing might explain why sometimes when I remove DD and set a faster scroll speed it still moves glacially at the beginning of the song.
Yes, RS2014 keeps your previous skill levels for each phrase of the song, so if the phrases or their maximum level of DD are updated, a inconcistency can occur.
The only way to avoid this, is to force the Toolkit to update the id of each arrangement. In this case, the song is managed as a new song, but all playing statistics are lost.
So how would i do that. Was just about to make a post about this too
-
Of course my strings break on my guitar and my nut for my bass breaks off......so now the plan is, ill return as soon as i can
-
SO yeah next week i shall return and shit

WEll i know what im doing tomorrow

I just dont really feel up to snuff with making more DLC atm, i want to focus on other projects like make more music, focus on life, and other shit. So it may be a few weeks, may be a few months, who knows....

Was there any reason for all the key and time changes?
just felt like it. Since Tool is a big influence, the time sigs are bound to happen. As for the key, i dont really know
- 1
-
Hey, that's pretty cool!
What key is that? It sounds like maybe a diminished 7th dominate 3rd and suspended 13th! hahah!
It may not be too special, but it's a helluva lot better then I could do, kudos.
It goes from Bb Major to Ab Major to Gb Major then back to Bb then to Eb major then back to Bb then to Db Major and ending in F# Major
Time sigs are 4/4 , 7/8 , 9/8 , 12/8 , 14/8, 6/4 , 5/8, 5/4 and 8/4
