This happened on my old laptop with a pirated copy of rs 2014. Now with my shiny new laptop I went ahead and purchased a legit copy of the game and the cherub rock dlc. When I went to install the .dll so I could use custom dlc. It caused the game audio (right from launch) to be terrible and crackly. It was tested and working fine before the file was installed. I haven't seen anyone else post about this issue, but was hoping I could get some help. Brandon
