It's almost like there's a page on CF in order to download WW2021

I'm pretty sure custom game toolkit has been unsupported for close to 10 years also. So you're not likely to find support for that.
My recommendation is to update the game, no beta path, update the DLL, and use rsmods. If you've still got your DLC folders in a backup location, just move those over into your rocksmith directory -

Hasn't been needed in like 2 years.
What is CGTR? This is the only post I can see on the forum ever mentioning that -

Good tip Blues! (I never actually unpack and repack psarcs so I didn't think about that function)
Yeah, I've done a couple chart repairs, and that's a necessary option when doing so. Otherwise the notes are all dispersed over difficulty levels in EOF and you can't find the right spot to adjust the notes. Becomes an exercise in futility lol

Worth noting with Phantasy's steps here: DLC Builder has an option to flatten DD when unpacking a psarc and creating an EOF file. You want that option selected

For what it's worth, RS2014 officials use handshape notation and not arpeggio group notation. It's recommended for readability to use handshapes and not arpeggios

No, what you're asking is piracy and is against the rules of Customs Forge. You can still find sealed physical copies for sale

My suggestion is to try rebuilding the song using DLC Builder instead of Song Creator Toolkit. The toolkit has been outdated for quite a few years now and is probably causing you more trouble than you need.
If you need a download link, it's available on Firekorn's CDLC tutorial here or by clicking the Create CDLC link on the top of the page -

Now for how long Ubi keeps it in Steam is anyone's guess, and I can not alleviate that concern. It should be for a long time to come. Someone else asked the same thing as you in another thread "what if my machine/laptop dies, what if something happens...". What this means, what I am trying to say, at some point in the far distant future, Windows 11 will get replaced. As will Windows 12. And Windows 13. Will Rocksmith still work with that future Operating System? Not likely. Will Ubi make updates so that it will? That is anyones guess. I do not have answers for that other than, you will need to make plans if you want to keep playing this version of Rocksmith 20 years from now. Will the Earth still be inhabitable in 20 years? Will there be a colony on Mars in 20 years? Will anyone have figured out how many angels fit on a pin? Anyone's guess.
For what it's worth, I've got games that have been delisted from steam for 10 years that I can redownload still here in 2024. It's so unlikely to happen to have the actual game files removed from distribution through steam that I'm calling it impossible unless steam itself dies.

You can potentially find steam keys from places like Amazon, it's just going to be expensive. But so long as it's a sealed physical copy it should activate on steam without trouble

Short answer, heuristic detections aren't great.

Thankyou so much. This has really helped. I managed to download the CDLC into the dlc folders. The files show in the game menu now with the album artwork and song preview. however when I load the song up, the game freezes as it opens on the speakers and will not play the song. I feel like I have missed something obvious here.
You still need the RSBypass patch as linked in the video in the previous post. If the patch didn't work, follow the video and try it again

> I do own both RS games and i purchased the import tool long ago.
Then you should have the songs listed here available in RS2014.
Again though, if you never bought DLC for the first rocksmith, then rs1compatibilitydlc will do nothing for you in game because you needed to purchase those. CFSM will show those because of how those files work, but if you didn't buy RS1 DLC songs, you don't get them in RS2014

The compatibility disc imports original Rocksmith songs into RS 2014, but you need to own the original.
Similarly, compatibility dlc made original rocksmith DLC compatible with 2014, but if you didn't buy any of those they won't show up.
Short answer, you needed to own original RS and original RS DLC. Those files do nothing if you didn't buy any of those -
No and no. Humans have created applications to assist in transcription and people with dozens of years of music transcription still have difficulties in doing so. Large Language Models like chatGPT aren't going to have some magical fix. Besides there have been AI assisted charts released in the past and to be perfectly honest, they were absolute garbage

C : Yes but no. You paid for the Xbox version, not the PC version. If you wanted to play the PC version, you always had to pay for the PC version, even if you bought the xbox version.
But yep, you're SOL. You can hopefully get the game that's been delisted for less than a crazy amount, or just kinda suck it up and know you're breaking the rules of the community if you opt for that route. I'm sure the admins have had discussions with both the original RS and with RS2014 now being delisted, but they chose to keep the rules the same.
It's your choice what you do in regards to the community rules, but considering this is your first post, I doubt your argument is going to be the one that changes the minds of the admins -

@ Finex If you go to Use CDLC at the top of the page you get a link to all the information you need.
I'm on a Mac at the moment, but check: C:/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/common/Rocksmith2014 (you should see the .exe, assuming PC, and the .dll).
In any case, make sure you have your CDLC somewhere safe; you can use Steam to uninstall RS, go there, make sure it's all gone if you like, then reinstal it. Put your CDLC back if they aren't in the dlc directory of Rocksmith or a subdirectory of that.
After that, you can get the link to the CDLC Enabler in the Use CDLC explanation, and it will instal the new .dll in the right place.
Be sure to also check "Program Files (x86)" since I believe steam defaults to 32-bit install location instead of 64-bit.

Use DLC Builder instead of Rocksmith Toolkit. Link in Firekorn's tutorial

CDLC will not be changing, and the staff likely won't change the rules on ODLC in the same way it hasn't changed for Rocksmith 1 ODLC which have been delisted
-
All of RS1 has been delisted and is no longer obtainable, and no there is no way to download them. See the official stance by CF here:

@ SiRenfield No, any official DLC that was delisted is not available anymore. If you didn't buy it you're out of luck:

The mods/staff decided NSBM is against their rules. Those bands are specifically called out as Nazi metal.
It's not "overdramatising" to ban nazi stuff from the platform.
