  2. I use whatever the default is in the toolkit, which I think is band name_song title_v#

I also always add an underscore to the beginning of the file name of whatever I create or download so the customs aggregate at the top of the list when sorted alphabetically in the Rocksmith dlc folder.  If a standard is created, which  is probably unrealistic and unenforceable, I think this should be included.

  3. Increase the cable volume on the windows control panel. Cable volume defaults to 17. my Strat has the same problem if I don't increase the cable volume. Its REALLY annoying. Rocksmith changes it back EVERYtime you start the program so you will have to alt-tab out of rocksmith while it is running to set it.

They addressed this in a patch a while ago.  There should be an option somewhere in the game setting that controls the gain of the cable.

  4. That I can remember, in no particular order:

Beach Boys, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Dropkick Murphys, Amazing Royal Crowns, Royal Crown Revue, The Shods, Honkeyball, Anti-Flag, Pinkerton Thugs, Lars & The Bastards, Rancid, Swingin' Utters, Johnny Rivers, AFI, Goldfinger, Earth Crisis, NOFX, Dillinger Escape Plan, Lunasa, Perfect Thyroid, Ziggy Marley, Blues Traveller, Mastodon, Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper, Opeth, Dream Theater, Violent Femmes, They Might Be Giants, The Pogues, Cracker, countless regional & local bands

  5. Search isn't working for me right now but I can tell you that there is at least 1 Robert Johnson (Sweet Home Chicago) and I think there's a couple Gary Moore songs.

Here's a couple I've tried that you might like, based on your criteria:

    Freddie King - Hideaway

    Freddie King - San Hozay

The Shadows - Apache - more spaghetti western than blues, but it's very fun to play

Gene Vincent - Be Bop A Lula - early rockabilly, more difficult but also fun to play

Black Keys - Have Mercy On Me - (full disclosure: I made this one) slowish blues tune that has a pretty long but not crazy difficult solo.  This one is a Junior Kimbrough cover

This guy does lessons for a lot of classic and modern rock songs, most of which have probably already been made into customs.  He even tells you how to get the right tone using some of the pedals they sell, but the info should apply to Rocksmith tones as well.

  7. This one is definitely a work in progress but I wanted to get something posted so the feedback can start pouring in like a biblical flood.

    • Rhythm track shows an X for me, but if you click on it, it is there.
    • Tones currently suck
    • Arrangements:
    • Lead - This will eventually include all the overdubbed reverby fills and solos, maybe 25% done.  Right now, the first solo is pretty much complete and the second is started but that's about it.
    • Rhythm - This is the same as alternate rhythm but with the bass drone removed, so you can play with a pick.
    • Alternate Rhythm - This is the bulk of the song.  It's about 90% done.  It has a droning bassline on the open A string, so unless you have some insane string muting skills, you have to fingerpick this.  It's supposed to be the default rhythm track but I put it in the wrong spot.

  8. I don't even know how it happened.  I kind of blacked out and when I came to, I was looking at a "thank you for your order" screen.

It's not my fault, really.  Elderly has a 10% off coupon code, free shipping and they set up the guitar.  I'm the victim here.

  9. The only way I know of to get rid of the chord panes currently is to turn off grid snap and offset one of the notes slightly.  Less than ideal, especially if you have a lot of them throughout the song.  raynebc and Berneer are trying to get it to work with tech notes but I believe there is an issue with how it functions in the toolkit.  I'm not sure how it stands now but one of them may.
