Not hard, bad note recognition and clumsy fingers. Rocksmith really doesn't like recognising notes while open strings are ringing out. Kind of had to mute the arpeggio for better note recognition, sacrificing quality over score. I hate myself for doing that, but it's mehtallica, so I'll allow it. I tried SA after the second playthrough, but got my teeth kicked in quite quickly.

I'll join mc when I can do decently in a song with a solo. Level 6 song does not push me to mc, no way. @@Rodman, if you want to get rid of me, there is always that 10:30 minute song that I do damn well at ;) Level 7-7.5, iron maiden - book of souls. I think I'd work my arse off to hit 99 there :lol: Yes. Now come join me in Masterclass.

I forgot to screenshot my playthroughs when testing the song. Have not had a chance to sit down and attempt the songs until now :( Also agreed, that song is definitely 6. Even says so in my original notes :lol:

I totally agree, I'm going to be playing the lead for nothing else matters this week. It may not count, but I like it much better then the other song. Random shuffle at song selection list filled those places first and had to find a suitable filler from oldies for the rhythm. Lead has also been played before and was graded 8. That would have caused more problems :) In any case. We need more quality beginner level lead/rhythm songs, and we need more songs with advanced/masterclass rhythm tracks. Why don't you just use Rocksmith cable? If you want to play with a real amp, you can use Boss LS-2 pedal to send A to an amp and B to Rocksmith. That's how I do it when I'm allowed to play loud Because of the latency when using external sound card. The integrated soundcard has way better audio output latency than the external sound card when you are dealing with rocksmith. @@Anwyn My studio monitors are connected to my pre-amp, which then allows me to choose between multiple audio sources, so I can have integrated audio card as well as my scarlett 2i2 connected to the same speakers. Still requires using the remote controller to swap audio sources when using the studio monitors as monitors instead of speakers, but that's trivial.

Geez, that chart is very unforgiving with those slides. Always missing slides because of prematurely releasing B string. Hopefully never playing this again :lol: Rhythm is probably an 8 at most. With little practice I'd nail those arpeggios and call it a 7.

When I click on the leaderboards, it says it's for a week in Aug 2015, there seems to be a heeeeaaap of panels at the top of the drop-down menu on the left of the Google spreadsheet, which one's the actual 10-week? If that makes sense... Almost all the way to the top of that drodown menu. Sheet is named "Rodman's rankings". Should be right next to "Week325" sheet.

Lead is definitely a 9.5 to 10. Bass is a solid 9 for me Bass is like 7-8. 7 for the actual chart, but an extra +1 for the length and the damn breaks.

Tried to get that perfect 100 % row in bass again, but just can't get the 7 -> 19 slides to register :(
