Same here! Nothing pops up.
-
This issue has been rearing its ugly head for ages - more than a year I believe. You can reach the newly uploaded CDLCs throgh this forum instead.
-
I get the new CDLCs from the notfications here on the forum for the last few days
-
Same issue here.
-
This CDLC is NOT packaged with the normal ID from Cherub Rock, so you probably need to change it in the toolkit. It is packaged with Radiohead - Karma Police - 258381
-
I believe cdlc are not working anymore because of the update today. Can anyone else confirm?
-
They friggin killed it!

2 - Bought one with the first Rocksmith and another one with Rocksmith2014. Thinking I will buy my third one soon.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
edit: A few days after I wrote this my first cable broke at the jack end. I think its fixable but will buy me my third cable anyway, in a few days.
-
I use and like it. Not often nowadays but back when it was new (version 1 & 2) I used it very much. Both for playing for myself and recording tracks. It sounds pretty good, is very versatile and a lot better than the small amps I had available.
I think you will have to get a sound card, if you dont already have it, that uses ASIO drivers to get the best sound.

@@Tmlt, @, please stop this holy war and off topic bout x vs y, I think it's pretty annoying to read this
Sorry about that. Not meant to be a holy war. Just a discussion to get the best latency. It is over now.
@@Jefbyos I use the rocksmith cable and my onboard realtek audio card. If you think my .ini or something else will help you get there, pm me :-)
-
@@Tmlt It is possible only with pro audio cards which support ASIO (ASIO created by Steinberg, not Microsoft). and 3ms only for input+3 ms for output. Windows and on-board chip can`t work with such latency.
This is so wrong. Do a google search for asio vs wasapi latency please.
But youre right about the 3ms. My total latency in RS2014 with wasapi drivers is 7 ms.

Here is my audiodump, for all those of you who live in 2008 and wont understand that windows drivers in some cases have become faster than good ole ASIO:

OK, i guess I was a bit fast to declare an overall latency at 3 ms. That is the input. The total is 7 ms. -
All right ! Never noticed that issue, because I never play in-game tones, too much latency. I probably would if the game utilized low-latency drivers, such as ASIO on windows.
The current windows audio driver system can reach latencies of 3 ms.

A BEX error on anything means that DEP has experienced a buffer overflow exception, to fix this, you need to right click on my computer > properties> advanced system settings on the left bar, under the performance section, click on settings, click the "Data Execution Prevention" tab, and then click the checkbox for "turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select", click Add and then browse to the Rocksmith2014.exe program and add it.
hope this works for you. -
The trick is to let select a song and start it. Then press "escape" and wait about 3-4 seconds, without making any noise with your instrument, then "escape" back into the song, and the volume goes back to normal.

It happens all the time on this site. I have almost given up on commenting at all.
-
I have 100% accuracy on about 15-20 tracks. No metallica yet though.
-
The first post is still 4-21-2016?
-
Cannot post at all! (so why am I writing this?) But I am pretty tired of writing a comment, hitting Enter and then it just dissappears.

Or you could notice exactly when the tone gets gone. Then the CDLC you are playing or have JUST played must be the problem.
-
The first thought that comes to mind is "try to reinstall the directx that came with the game"

Giant Sand on friday :)

Ok, thanks for the reply. I had the wrong impression, that there had been no other version than mine. Must have missed that one. Thanks again.
Inconsistent song availability

If you are on mac I know of a workaround. Start the game and stop where you can choose "learn a song". If it says "enumerating downloadable content" then wait until it is finished. Then escape/quit back to the white intro screen and start again. They will all show up now.
