I am guessing that its something to do with Frethand Positions.

I have no problem going to mediafire.com but when using the link on first page to get EOF the connection times out. Tried 4-5 times.

Same problem here but it mostly happens in the mornings. Later in the day there is no problem. Not everyday but most.
Win 7 x64 and Firefox.
Same result with ´remember me´ checked as with it unchecked.

I just tried using the CDLC Search feature to find all of the available TOOL songs. A feature I wish was available would be a difficulty score. Something like a 1-5 or 1-10 score. Either have the creators decide the difficulty of the song based on the instrument, or allow the downloaders to weigh in on how hard it was to learn. Or have a letter for the difficulty. "E"asy, "I"ntermediate, "A"dvanced, "M"astery, "G"od level

 

It would allow beginners to avoid the difficult songs and gravitate to those easier to learn. Or people like me who want to learn a band's entire catalog eventually.  Simply search "TOOL" and then click on a "difficulty" tab. And work my way from the easiest to hardest.

I think most Tool tracks would have the same difficulty level. A few might be one level below or one level above but mostly the same.

But if you slow a track down to where you can play it comfortably does it matter how hard it is?

However if it only happens 50% of the time you try to play cdlc it might not be what you need, but is the only thing that comes to mind

I have the same problem, on every cdlc that I have tried. I right click the song in Song Manager and click on "Edit song information" and ---> Unhandled exception...

Its starts out good but then the notes comes earlier and earlier and by the end they are WAY out of sync.

This started in March 2016 and still there is only one CDLC "by" CDLC Orphanage?

You write something and when you hit "post" it all disappears.
I just tried to leave feedback on a cdlc but gave up after 10-11 tries.

right click Rocksmith in Steam and choose "browse local files" you will then get to the folder that holds Rocksmith.ini. Rename the file to Rocksmith.txt, edit it, and the rename it back to Rocksmith.ini and save.

I am wondering if your audio has reset itself to 41mHz? It should be at 48mHz.

Those two c´s do not sound the same at all. Because the first is played on the E string it sounds a bit heavier because of string gauge and maybe even pickup position. But play it the way you like it!

Actually RS is terrible for memorizing songs. The best way to memorize is to play outside RS like tabs furthermore written by yourself. I´d benn playing several years solely with RS and now I´m in the need to abandon it completely,otherwise I won´t learn a f*** to progress more.

Lol! RS is just a tool. All memorization happens in your brain. Play the same song for 6 hours and see if you can remember it. Then do the same the day after. Thats how the pros do it.

I just tried downloading from my second pc yesterday and it worked fine from there. I guess the problem might have been on my end.

I try to download latest release version 1.4.0.0 but the link leads to 1.3.3.5?!
Now trying to install it, it keeps running the installer. (wasnt this fixed some versions ago?) and then it also deleted my desktop shortcut.

Also this version shuts down when I try to get song info, on any song.

I dont see your Alabama Shakes customs on the list? Just tried downloading all 6 of them but get an "the action could not be started" message.

One of my friends use mac and had the same problem. He has to first start the game, load his profile, and then back out of the game to the white "start" screen and start and load profile again. Then all cdlc appears.
