New day, new strings (10-52) and a better score.

I tried to use the toolkit. several times. I even updated my toolkit but it still wont work.

Why is it impossible to remove DD from Full steam? I need my easy score attack. :-P
I really need to work in RR with that starting riff. Its to damned fast for me. But i am starting to get along with the rest of the song.

Got a 66% on full steam. This is going to be a tough one for me, but it looks like a fun one to play.

First song of the day.
The hammer-ons is not a problem anymore. But the damned 10-12 and 15-17 are. Guess ill have to order top heavy strings for future drop d songs.

Today it went ALOT better. The cords are still all over the place. Sometimes they register and some times they do not. But the hammer-ons where a lot easier today. Went from 77% to 84% in 4 tries. Looks like i can stay in intermediate yet another week. :smile:

Got it up a bit today. Still having problems with the hammer-ons and with the cords. im still recuperating from 6 days of junk food, alcohol and concerts.

Looks like there is a chance ill be dropping back to beginner next week.
Anyone know some drop d cdlc that are easy on the fretting hand? Would be fun to play those while resting.

Its just horrible trying to play drop c with 10-46 strings. My accuracy jumps all over the place. Im going to Sweden Rock Festival tomorrow and staying there until Sunday so i wont be changing them.
Megadeath is so out of my league i cant even play through it.
Might give cranberries a few tries later. It looks a bit challenging with the chords and the string skipping.

Today trooper did not agree with me at all. So i played a bit of Firewoman rhythm instead.
Edit: I could not stop myself from playing it 3 more times
Edit 2: You put my MC Rhythm score in lead.

I really need to practice in RR. My arm is dead after just 2 plays.

Just 2 more plays and all of my right arm hurts. I really need to learn how to relax while playing.
Edit. I really liked Fire woman to. Buts its a bit hard for me at some parts. (but ill play that to anyway)

I have always been a bit afraid of fast song, like most Iron maiden. But i guess its time for me to grab the bull by the horns.
My old (pre custonsforge) results for the trooper was at a whooping 33% completion. My first try now got me 67% and my second is this:

I cant use RR at all for Ancient mariner. And the song is 13:34 long.

I did not get all the way to 90% this week. But im still happy with my progress.
(as you can see in my previous screenshots i have removed DD from the song)
Edit: Tried the Rhythm part to. With singing (and whistling)

Im a bit sad to see that im the only one so far that plays Letter to Dana. ( HohyCZ score is in the wrong place)
Its not as hard as it looks at first. The opening part is a bit tricky but the rest is doable.
Im still going to fight to get 90+

There is no rhytm for sinners if that is what you are talking about. Change to lead for this week if you want to play it.

Im going to play the shit out of Letter to Dana. I love the song and i love to play it. Might be a bit hard but my goal is still 90%+
So far in my first 10th plays i got 77% as my score. (got 79% on my last but there was some stupid orange in the bars.)

Thanks for the non DD version @@Shiroo. I find it easier to pinpoint my weaknesses in score attack.

Edit: tried the intro riff a few times in RR. I can manage 90% speed with only down strokes but only 85% with alternate picking. Still i feel i need the alternate to be able to handle 100%.
How do the rest of you pick this riff?
